May 26, 2021 at 12:00 amOur daughter is transitioning, and we couldn’t wish for her to have settled in as well as she has done. We believe this is due to the preparation that is undertaken prior to her starting. From the initial enquiry to her first day, staff have been very informative with sharing all the necessary key points required. Communication has been exceptional, and it has certainly been helpful to have understanding and knowledgeable staff. The school considers a holistic approach and moving forward, this will definitely enhance our daughter’s learning experiences throughout her educational journey.

We feel at ease leaving our daughters in the care of the nursery staff at St Clares, where we know their day will be full of fun, enjoyment and new experiences. They are extremely excited to take part in forest school as well as beginning to learn some Spanish. My son started in the nursery as well, and he is now thriving in year-2. We also recommended St Clares to family members, who also have their children in nursery and another year group. The staff are welcoming and caring and settle the children in greatly. We feel St Clares is a pivotal start for our daughter’s education and would not hesitate to recommend it to others also.

May 26, 2021 at 12:00 amThe nursery at St Clare’s School provides a nurturing and varied environment for my son to thrive. He is always happy at school, and his development has noticeably accelerated since starting at the nursery. He particularly enjoys the Forest School, which encourages children to learn and develop new skills such as problem solving and creativity in a natural environment. The opportunity to learn Spanish at such a young age is a real bonus for the children who attend the nursery. The teachers are friendly and approachable, and the facilities are well-suited for young children, with plenty of space to learn and play. I would happily recommend this nursery to anyone considering it for their children.

However, due to the amazing staff, after just a few weeks at the nursery, he is asking to go back every day! We are so pleased with how much he has learned already. It is definitely the best nursery we could have chosen.

June 22, 2021 at 12:00 amI am very impressed by the standard of care provided at this nursery. The staff are friendly, supportive and highly organised. My son is very happy at the nursery, and his confidence has grown since he started. Each week he has a varied timetable, including Spanish lessons, PE, ballet and Forest School, in addition to more conventional activities such as writing, painting and opportunities to play. He was particularly happy to be attending a school trip to a castle today, and I wanted to thank the team for making such a positive impact during this important phase of my son’s education.

March 17, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter started at St Clare’s in September 2021. She settled in so well, and the teachers spent time getting to know her. She has loved it since day one and comes home excited to talk about her day. The activities are creative and so varied, and I love the fact she gets the chance to do Spanish and ballet on top of the normal curriculum. I can not thank the staff enough, and I know from her experience in the nursery that her transition into reception will be seamless.

March 18, 2022 at 12:00 amMy youngest son has had an amazing experience in St Clare’s School Nursery since he began in September last year. The quality of care is consistently first class. What makes it stand out is the degree of staff investment in each child; it is incredibly reassuring to see that the amount of time and enthusiasm spent on really understanding the children as individuals is subsequently reflected in their level of happiness and capacity to learn. My husband and I have found the nursery to be exceptionally thorough and well-rounded in their preparation of activities and monitoring of our son’s progression. The team are reflective, responsive, pro-active and easy to approach. I only wish I had been able to give my two older children the experiences enjoyed by my youngest.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend St Clare’s to other parents and carers.

April 25, 2022 at 12:00 amSince starting at the age of 3 with St Clare’s nursery school we have seen our daughter develop and blossom.
The care and focus she receives from the fully qualified teachers in the nursery are great.
She talks non-stop at home about the staff, her friends, and the nursery environment.
We would recommend the nursery section at St Clare’s to future children and parents keen to see their child prosper from the age of 3.

Her speech has developed hugely since she began in January 2023. The teaching that they receive is outstanding. A superb nursery that I would highly recommend.

The variety of activities and individually tailored care from the teachers means that he has flourished in this environment. The communication from staff has been exceptional, we are well-informed on his progress and are so pleased we choose this nursery!

April 25, 2023 at 12:00 amThe nursery is such a welcoming place, for both my son and me. The staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Their standard of care is excellent, they know my child so well, they understand his needs and wants, and how to help him to develop further.
Communication is excellent, both verbally and electronically. I know my child is happy, safe and learning, and how I can help him to support the work of the school.
Above all my son is happy, he enjoys time with his friends and I know he is being looked after at all times.

She has settled in straight away, made friends, gained confidence and loves the variety of activities such as forest school and Spanish; every morning she’s excited to attend. The nursery is a great fit for our family, and we feel our children are getting the best start to their education.
