January 18, 2021 at 12:00 amOur daughter loves Westfields! The staff are very kind, caring and enthusiastic. There are lots of great activities and it’s nice to know she is well cared for and will also have a wonderful time each day.

January 18, 2021 at 12:00 amOur son loves going to Westfields every single time! The staff work so hard to ensure he is happy and content. Tapestry (the online learning journal) is packed full of photos and observations to know exactly the fun he has had during the day. They ensure children develop in their own way with a major focus on independent learning. The separate areas are packed full of fun natural resources and we love their main focus is on outdoor learning. We couldn’t recommend Westfields enough!

They often enjoy time in the garden and the catering is good. We’re confident that Westfields provides a great social and learning experience for our little ones.

Not for improvement, use the app more, this is the only handover option and it at times doesn’t provide significant information.

April 21, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter attends Westfields Day Nursery 4 days a week, she is learning so much every day. The staff in her room are very patient and friendly. The management have been supporting our family through some very difficult times and have given extra sessions as and when needed and have given telephone support if we need it. Overall, very satisfied.

April 25, 2021 at 12:00 amWestfields Day Nursery is a great nursery – the staff are wonderful, caring and committed. Our children have been very happy here – it is a safe, nurturing environment where their development is well supported, their emotional needs are met and their social skills are fostered. The site and facilities are great, there’s plenty of structured and unstructured activities to suit all interests, and the home cooked food is nutritious and tasty.

The food is healthy and varied and the activities are quite varied also. They have a great outdoor space and make good use of it. Communication home is great too!

November 26, 2021 at 12:00 amOur daughter is so happy at Westfields Day Nursery and has built great relationships with the staff and made lots of lovely friends. It’s so comforting to know that it feels like a home from home for her. We have also been impressed with the nursery focus on teaching manners and have no doubt that the nursery has accelerated her speech and conversation skills. We are also impressed with the garden, facilities and varied menu. We would recommend.

November 29, 2021 at 12:00 amMy child enjoys her time in the toddler room at Westfields Day Nursery there is a good range of activities and plenty of outdoor time (far more than the baby room). My child is encouraged to try new things and the staff will cater to follow her interests. The food is varied and my child usually eats it all. The nursery policies are strict re. illness so it is unfortunate that a sickness bud and Covid were both doing the rounds in October.

December 1, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has been at Westfields for just over three years and is so happy there. When he first started he found it really difficult, but the staff in the baby room were very patient and kind, so he soon settled. He also found some transitions difficult, particularly when returning after the first Covid lockdown. But again, the staff were wonderful. He is now so happy and developing so quickly. The staff continue to provide a nurturing environment, mixed with lots of fun activities. The staff are always very cheerful and approachable: it has been easy to build a good relationship with them. There is a great outdoor space and my son is often having far too much fun playing outside with his friends that I have to almost bribe him to leave! As with many childcare settings, there does appear to be a high turnover of staff, but there is enough consistency to provide stability and any changes are usually communicated well. Thank you Westfields; you all work so hard!

The atmosphere is wonderful and the team are brilliant at their job. We feel very confident leaving him in their care and know he’s learning so many important skills from spending his time there. March 31, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son was very unsettled when he first started nursery having been at home with me for 12 months and being a total mummy’s boy! Fast forward just a few months and he absolutely loves nursery and is thriving – he is so happy to go, adores his key workers, and seeing him get so much from it is just wonderful. It’s all thanks to the brilliant staff.

April 3, 2023 at 12:00 amOur daughter was one of the youngest babies to start at Westfields in a long time. She only took around 2 weeks to settle in and that’s down to the fabulous and attentive efforts of the staff. Early on, as a team, they identified that her original key worker may not have built up enough experience to deal with the needs of such a young new baby. Instead, it was recognised that this member would gain so much more by observing the more senior members. Our daughter is now full of smiles and excitement when she sees each and every staff member in her room! I’ve also received some great advice from staff – weaning my daughter off nighttime feeds so she’s hungry enough to eat meals in the day – it worked like a dream. We are so happy with the care our daughter receives because we can see how happy she is. The staff are all so friendly and approachable too, which makes for a very pleasant experience all around. Thank you Westfields Team – you’re all fabulous!

April 3, 2023 at 12:00 amBoth our children attend Westfields and we have been so happy with the care, support and overall nurturing environment that is provided. They offer so many lovely activities, arts and crafts, singing, role plays and lots of outdoor garden play/water play. My daughter’s confidence and overall development have come on leaps and bounds, big thank you to the ladies in the raising 3s they have been amazing with her. Also a big thank you to the lady who has been fantastic at settling our son in the baby room.
