Focus Nursery School

Each of them different and the childcare centre have never failed to adapt to accommodate their needs, supporting them to make that next step and be ready to start primary school. Our first kid originally attended another local setting and struggled to interact and settle so decided to try Focus and have never looked back, being incomparable in every way. The managers and team are hugely experienced, supportive, and reassuring and some are also family too making their work ethic all the more important to them and a personal priority to them which is something we loved about this childcare centre too – that real-life family sense and that they will treat them as their own. It’s not commercialised in any way and the kids and families consistently come first. Our kids have all enjoyed their experiences and the wealth of fantastic discovering opportunities making them excited to go every day. My eldest wasn’t the easiest kid; she was an extreme introvert and very shy. She had lots of trouble separating from me every morning too, which led to lots of difficult drop-offs. All the team at Focus were so incredible, gentle and understanding. They took the trouble to identify all of her needs and her interests and used that to engage her and help her settle. In my eyes, they went over and above to ensure she was cheerful and comfortable with them. They prepared her so well for school, and she has thrived since. My second kid was so different to her sister, and again the team took the time to get to know her and really made a kid-focused care plan. It has been so lovely to see her walking past focusing on the days she didn’t go there, but she would still wave into everyone. She really settled with them. The team are so lovely and easy to communicate with. My son will be going when he is of age! I have sent two of my kids to Focus Childcare centre.
