Horsham Montessori

My daughter currently attends and is highly cheerful there. The Montessori equipment is lovely and the balance between independence and structure seems so beneficial. My son previously attended and the assistance and guidance they offered him and ourselves as parents was highly valuable, particularly around transfer to school but also in settling in and building resilience. During this recent difficult period of lockdown and coronavirus changes, they have been exceptional at keeping parents informed and providing optional ongoing activities, as well as ways for parents to update team on ongoing development updates. I sense confident in their ability to plan for the changing circumstances and their hygiene standards are consistently above average. Any issues are dealt with thoroughly by management. We would highly suggest Horsham Montessori.

Kids are given clear boundaries, great manners and empathy towards others is actively encouraged and demonstrated by team. My eldest son attended a few years ago and instantly excelled, when he started “big” school he continued to thrive, using the Montessori foundations that he had learnt to make sense of his new education. My second son joined my eldest after a year when he turned 2, he is now just about to move on from childcare centre and despite losing 3 months due to COVID-19, he is still more than ready for school! He is keen to learn and is consistently full of stories of what he’s been up to! My daughter who is not even 1 year old is already signed up to start here next year! I wouldn’t send her anywhere else! We do not live locally to this childcare centre, but what it has provided for my kids makes the journey more than worth it. Such a fantastic childcare centre with team that genuinely care for the kids and get to know their quirks, likes and dislikes.

The care and adore they show for every kid is incredible and the care and adore they give parents is incredible. The assistance you get through the induction is so fantastic. My daughter is getting assessed for potential special needs and the assistance in this process is so thorough, genuine and heartfelt.
Choose this childcare centre. You will not regret it. I cannot say enough great things about Horsham Montessori!

He absolutely loved his time at childcare centre and, as an only kid, the childcare centre has helped him to develop into a confident and sociable young boy who knows how to problem solve, take turns and share. In our opinion, the best thing about Horsham Montessori is the team, they are so compassionate, attentive and respectful of the integrity of the kid. They take a genuine kid-centred approach in all that they do. On top of this, the childcare centre also has just the right balance between stimulation (not over-stimulation) and space for imaginations to flourish. Because of this, we have seen our son’s capacity for imaginative playtime come alive. An added bonus for us has been the willingness of the management to be flexible and adapt to our changing needs for more or fewer childcare hours at different points in the year. We have consistently found that if they can help, they will. Our son has attended Horsham Montessori for the past two years and is now leaving for “big school”.

Exceptional team and a fantastic atmosphere. Our daughter has grown so much in self‑assurance and understanding over her time there. On top of this everyone made such an effort to keep supporting the kids and parents through the tough circumstances of the pandemic. Horsham Montessori provided all that we could wish for from a childcare centre.

We were recommended Horsham Montessori for our son by quite a few people before starting and we couldn’t of been more pleased. The team were truly incredible. So supportive and welcoming. Our son spoke highly highly of all his educators. We found the Montessori way of discovering exceptional also. He highly much enjoyed all the outdoor discovering and playtime. Especially when in the allotment. The facilities and food were excellent. The fact you also take your own packed lunch in also was great for us. Our son when he started was highly nervous and reserved. They truly helped bring him out of his shell and is flourishing with self‑assurance and eager to learn and ready for school. We couldn’t suggest them enough for your kid. Wow, what a childcare centre Horsham Montessori is.

The entire team are absolutely fantastic, they are all so attentive and invested in the kids. Our daughter has just left the childcare centre to start school in September and has been so well prepared by the team. Their ethos of allowing the kids to learn at their own pace without pressure has meant that she is truly confident when she does develop skills. As parents we have been kept up to date with everything going on with the childcare centre, there are regular parent days, and all of the team are completely approachable for a ‘tea and a chat’ informal meeting on top of the development updates given for each kid. Needless to say I have already booked my 7 month old son’s place for 2024, I can’t imagine him going anywhere else! There isn’t enough space for me to say everything I want to about this childcare centre! I can’t suggest Horsham Montessori highly enough.

We wouldn’t have considered anywhere else. The Montessori approach is perfectly suited to a preschool setting and the equipment is both unique and purposeful. Our eldest left this childcare centre highly much ready for school, in spite of being a ‘Summer boy’. However, they don’t just simply educate, they reinforce manners and demonstrate kindness. Kids emerge cheerful, confident and attentive, as well as with a sound grasp of numbers, letter sounds, general/world knowledge and self-care. We have recently started sending our second kid to this outstanding childcare centre.

We visited Horsham Montessori and were impressed with the way they have separated the spaces, they have an allotment and outdoor playtime area in addition to a running room and block room. The Horsham Montessori team are above outstanding. They are compassionate, compassionate, excel in their understanding of the teaching but also strive to pass ideas onto the parents and help and advise with any issues you may have. Before the pandemic, they would have regular coffee mornings where they would discuss teaching practices we could do at home, conferences they had been to and showed us some of the activities the kids do in the setting. They would offer help with emotions and sleep and during lockdown sent activities out and videos. My daughter has grown in self‑assurance and is highly independent. I highly suggest this childcare centre. We chose Horsham Montessori after my mother suggested my daughter would benefit from the type of Montessori discovering and teaching, and would also delight in a quiet space.

He was a highly shy, timid boy and often cried when I said goodbye. I was a little sceptical at first as I was anxious he wasn’t enjoying going. I spoke to the manager who straight away put me at ease.
I cannot thank the childcare centre enough. My little boy isn’t the shy timid boy we once knew, he is confident, thriving and has grown up so much since being at Horsham Montessori. All the team have been exceptional considering it’s been a highly difficult 18 months.
We will miss every single one of the team. They truly are so passionate about the kids. I’m so glad we choose to put our little boy there it was the best decision we ever made. My little boy started childcare centre when he was 2.
