DirectionsBrookham Nursery can be found nestled in 175 acres of beautiful grounds in the South Downs National Park. Brookham Nursery is on the same site as Brookham Pre-prep and Highfield Prep School on Highfield Lane, Liphook. Highfield and Brookham Schools are located on the border of Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex.

September 2, 2024 at 10:25 pmThe facilities are outstanding – he particularly enjoys swimming and forest school. The team are attentive and seem to take a genuine interest in each kid’s development. My son has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Brookham.

September 6, 2024 at 6:29 pmWe couldn’t be happier. He has flourished in the smaller classroom setting. The educators are incredible – so attentive. He has recently moved into a brand new classroom which is such a lovely space and a highly calming setting. The grounds are lovely and there is so much space for them to run around outside. He has a weekly swim lesson which is incredible – we were able to watch them recently and I couldn’t believe his self‑assurance in the water. It is a highly nurturing setting but they encourage independence and he has grown in self‑assurance. He never has dirty clothes to bring home and consistently comes back highly spotless and highly cheerful. My son joined the childcare centre when he turned two last year.

Everything, from the facilities to the activities to the food is so carefully thought through. The team turnover is truly low. Can’t fault them in any way. Brookham is an absolutely lovely childcare centre.

She has loved every minute and spends the evenings chatting away excitedly about all the fantastic things she experiences – swimming, ballet, PE, music, art, forest school…the list is endless. The variety of activities offered to the kids is outstanding and well thought out for the kids at the childcare centre. We are just thrilled with how cheerful she is there and can only thank the team for their attentive, ever enthusiastic and experienced approach to nurturing and educating our little one. Thank you! My daughter started Brookham Childcare centre as soon as she turned 2!

The facilities and access to the outdoors and endless grounds are remarkable. To see the kids dropped off and picked up with the biggest smiles on their faces is just fantastic! Brookham Childcare centre has been so welcoming to our son.

The breadth of opportunities is remarkable; our son gets to take part in swimming, ballet, music, Spanish and forest school. They have a huge amount of space and facilities to run around in, and we adore that there is a big emphasis on the outdoors, as it’s where our boy is happiest. The team are just fantastic, attentive and thoughtful; they keep us informed and, most importantly, truly get to know the kids. My wife and I are so pleased with the childcare centre.

November 25, 2024 at 9:13 amActivities often vary but there is also consistency so kids have time to adapt to new challenges that keep them stretched academically. The childcare centre’s leadership does a excellent job to create a stimulating setting for all kids. We sense that our kid has had a bespoke journey since she joined almost a year ago. All her needs have been met and updates with her carers has consistently been easy and straightforward. I could not suggest Brookham Childcare centre more. The childcare centre is a fantastically nurturing and secure setting where kids thrive.

January 4, 2025 at 6:56 pmThey had both had a fabulous grounding and now, here at Brookham Childcare centre they are developing all those skills further. The outdoor nature of school suits them beautifully and the access to music, swimming, dance and PE keep them active and creative. They are both super cheerful to go in every day and come home nicely tired each evening. The team are welcoming, understanding and nurturing; they truly know my kids. The parent body is equally supportive and welcoming. A fabulous choice which we will never regret. It was a difficult decision to move both my kids across to Brookham Childcare centre from their original childcare centre but it turned out to be a exceptional one.

February 2, 2025 at 5:10 pmHe thoroughly enjoys the structure of ‘forest school’, ballet and swimming and also loves the free-flow through the rooms. The team are lovely and he’s clearly highly cheerful. We don’t receive much information about what he does each day, unlike when he was at our local childcare centre with photos and write-ups on their app, but it is preparing us, as much as him, for when he starts school in September! We moved our son from a local childcare centre to Brookham Childcare centre four months ago and we couldn’t be happier.

My son gets excited about going to childcare centre which is a testament to the childcare centre and how welcome they make him sense. He loves the forest school and music. I highly suggest Brookham Childcare centre. Had a excellent journey since we started.

The facilities are outstanding and when he was a bit overwhelmed on his first day, they let him go and see his sister in year two. The educators have been truly attentive to him and the activities they have organised have been first class. Outstanding journey so far.

They cook their own snacks, swim every week and have a huge range of activities to choose from inside the newly built classroom. It is nurturing whilst encouraging self‑assurance and independence. June 10, 2025 at 12:33 pmOur daughter is flourishing and is exposed to so many new activities including ballet, swimming and music. Every day when I pick her up she tells me she’s had ‘the best day’ so as a parent that’s what you want to hear.
The educators are all lovely.
It’s a highly nurturing and wholesome setting, where you can see the kids get a passion for discovering.
They’re surrounded by nature, and the classrooms have a lot of natural light with aesthetically pleasing toys and objects that provide a neutral canvas for them to explore and be creative in their playtime.
We were conscious to choose a childcare centre for our daughter that was a gentle, calm and creative space. And we found that at Brookham with the lovely classrooms, plenty of space to playtime, books, wooden toys, art supplies and a large outside space with woods they can explore, it just seemed the ideal place to grow and learn and we’re highly cheerful with our decision. We are exceptionally cheerful with the childcare centre and what it has to offer.
