December 30, 2024 at 10:36 amIt is set in a beautiful location, allowing the kids to be outside in a large open area. School on the Green provides an excellent start for kids. The team are superb and treat the kids like their own. My daughter absolutely loves it there and hasn’t once moaned about going, in fact I think she’d adore to go more if she could!

January 7, 2025 at 9:16 pmMy son absolutely loves it there! School on the Green is a lovely warm, welcoming childcare centre. The team are professional and extremely supportive to parents. I am very sad my son will be leaving in September.

January 14, 2025 at 11:59 amThe team are highly experienced, care and assistance the kids like they are their own. All 3 of my kids have attended this preschool and they have all been extremely cheerful here. The setting itself has lots of outside space and is in a pretty rural location. They provided excellent SENCO assistance for my son with ASD diagnosis and have worked hard to progress my other son’s speech that was delayed for his age. In my opinion, there is no preschool like this locally. I can’t suggest it highly enough.

March 13, 2025 at 6:42 amChildren are truly well cared for and do a variety of activities. This is a small, welcoming preschool in a beautiful rural setting with lots of outside space and lovely team. My daughter has been very cheerful here from day 1.

March 23, 2025 at 6:15 amThis is a small, warm, welcoming and attentive setting with plenty of well planned educational activities, fun playtime and incredible outside space. We moved our son from a much larger pre-school to School on the Green in Penn Street and it was a phenomenal decision. This is a secure and nurturing place and our son absolutely loves it there (in fact, he usually doesn’t want to leave!). We were concerned post lockdown, that our two-year-old had been starved of interaction with family and other kids and therefore keen to get him into pre-school a few mornings per week. His communication skills, motor skills and confidence have accelerated since attending. A huge “thank you” to the fantastic team.

The level of care and assistance from the educators is fantastic, the mix of indoor and outdoor playtime and many different creative activities is superb. We have a second kid who will also be attending when she is old enough.
