July 20, 2016 at 12:00 amMy son joined Uplands Nursery in September 2015. I had never left him in childcare and was concerned how he would settle in, I had nothing to worry about, he settled immediately. This was thanks to the amazing staff. He even wanted to spend his birthday at nursery rather than Legoland!
The staff are amazing, caring and give each child the attention they need. He has learnt so much and comes home every day chatting about what he has done that day. It has been a perfect foundation on which to start his schooling.
The facilities are great, the rooms are set up perfectly for the children, play areas changed frequently and physical education incorporated into their week too.
I canot recommended Uplands Nursery highly enough. We will be very sad to leave at the end of term but would like to thank the whole nursery team for making his time there so enjoyable.

July 20, 2016 at 12:00 amMy Daughter has attended this Nursery for approximately 2 years and I have been delighted with her development and her behaviour since starting. They are just wonderful staff and super patient and good fun, promoting learning whilst playing. They often organise workshops for the children depending on the season and subject they are learning that week. They playground has all the facilities you’d hope for and more for them to play and enjoy being outdoors. The nursery itself inside has an easy flow feel to it and activities placed out for the little ones to look at.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone with little ones and my daughter would run to start class in the morning which shows you how important this nursery is to my daughter.

September 1, 2016 at 12:00 amUplands Nursery is a fantastic place and I couldn’t have asked for a better start for my children to begin their education. The staff are warm and friendly and really care about the children. They are consistent and always put their heart and soul into what they do. The facilities are great and my children always come home full of beans from their day. The interaction with the main school has worked really well and opens up even more opportunities for the children such as PE sessions, special assemblies, and workshops. Highly recommend!

February 9, 2017 at 12:00 amWhen we first visited the nursery, I was struck by how friendly and welcoming it felt. I also loved the free flow movement of children around the place. Since starting here, my son has absolutely loved coming. I feel he was welcomed as an individual from the start and his individuality has been nurtured. It is very important to me that some of his more challenging traits (such as aggression, spiritedness, wilfulness) are retained and appropriately channelled (rather than squashed) and I really feel that this is happening. The staff speak so positively of him and genuinely seem to care about his little self, his feelings and thoughts. The report they have already sent to me is a wonderful reassurance to me that he is happy and learning with love and joy – very detailed and providing numerous photos of him hard at play. The garden is lovely and he enjoys the free flow of movement inside and outside. A lovely space for a child to start a love of learning and for socialisation.
I highly recommend Uplands.

February 9, 2017 at 12:00 amMy son is enjoying nursery. One of the best nursery around Sandhurst. The staff are very friendly and understanding. Very creative outer space and they do PE also, which is my son’s favourite, not many nurseries do. Highly recommend it.

February 9, 2017 at 12:00 amMy 2 daughters absolutely love their time at Uplands Nursery. They always come home talking about their day and they seem to do a lot of different things too. I have also been impressed by the extra activities and the fact that the nursery children don’t get left out of activities that the rest of the school do too. I would highly recommend Uplands Nursery.

February 22, 2017 at 12:00 amMy 3-year-old daughter goes to Uplands Nursery and absolutely loves it. The atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly – it feels very homely and I love the fact that the kids have free flow play. My daughter suffers from speech and language difficulties and the nursery have been so supportive with her about this, they work really well with her speech and language therapist and I feel have been a great help in improving her development.
I love the fact that the nursery is part of the School and that the nursery gets to use their facilities to do things such as P.E twice a week.
Being a working mum I find it really helpful that I get updated on things via SMS, email and social media. The reports are also so detailed and I love that I can view them securely online.
All the staff are truly caring and very patient.

I have found not only are they there for my daughter but also me as a parent.
They have been wonderful at helping my daughter with a new stage she is going through and extending it to our home life too.
I feel as a parent I have had support in explaining things I’m new to as she is my first child to attend nursery.

The nursery is brilliant at making learning fun and for setting up great learning activities. He has fun every day with the variety of different stations. Could not fault the nursery and its staff.

Both of mine have loved every moment there and are always encouraged to thrive and have as much fun as possible. The staff are always available to tell you how your child is getting on and you are invited to regular parents sessions to watch your child in action. They are taught so much through play and it is amazing to see how much they learn. The teachers and assistants are very loving towards the children and encourage them and help them all day long. The facilities are excellent and the outside area is a great size. I would never worry about my children there, they were excited to go in every day. I’m sad that my youngest finishes there in July.

My son comes home from nursery always keen and happy to go back. The staff are lovely and take time to listen to us as parents if we have any questions.

February 9, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter started at Uplands in January 2022 and absolutely loves it, I recently returned to work after a year on maternity leave and the staff have been amazing at guiding her through the transition.
She looks forward to going to Uplands every week, she loves being outside and really enjoys the free play. She also loves that she can play with/use real things like scissors, china cups and telephones.
She also attends a private nursery for childcare purposes which she has been at since she was 10 months old but she is adamant that Uplands is her favourite. She has made some new friends and really come out of her shell in their care, they are setting her up to start reception successfully in September.

My daughter loves going here, and I’ve seen a massive improvement in her since moving to this nursery. They also do lots of school trips with the children, which I think is great.

This nursery has made the transition from my boys having a nanny to going to nursery full time so smooth. The communication and relationships we have built already are brilliant and I couldn’t ask for more.
