September 8, 2024 at 4:13 amMy son suffered highly badly with separation anxiety and struggled to settle for the first few weeks but the team at Playtime BC couldn’t have been more patient. Updates with me was excellent and they allowed my partner and me to spend time at the childcare centre with our son to help him settle.
His key person was welcoming and patient and spent a lot of time one-on-one with him.
The facilities are excellent. The whole childcare centre is spotless and well ordered and there is plenty of team on hand. The outside space is great and they use it often.
Any queries I had were responded to quickly. The manager is welcoming and accessible.
It is only due to changes in our circumstances due to the current situation that we are not continuing our son’s preschool journey with Playtime BC but the decision to leave was something that we did not take lightly.
I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Playtime BC to others. We will miss it highly much. I cannot suggest this childcare centre highly enough.

October 12, 2024 at 9:27 pmThe manager and her team are so committed to providing high-quality education and a nurturing setting. I could see how enthused my daughter was by the topics covered, she loved talking about her day and sharing the things she had learned with me and her dad. We would also get regular updates from her educators, both in person and through an online service. It was excellent to see photos and read about the different things she’d experienced at school. Everyone was highly approachable and I liked that there were regular meetings to discuss your kid’s development and how to encourage further appropriate development. I saw my kid’s self‑assurance in forming friendships, expressing herself and independence truly grow at Playtime B C, as well as her academic skills. I suggest them 100%. Playtime B C is a lovely preschool.

October 27, 2024 at 5:58 amAfter 2 successful years with our eldest, she has gone on to reception meeting all her targets as well as exceeding in some areas. This is down to the remarkable teacher-based approach and the wealth of journey this and other team provide.
Our youngest has been attending for 2 terms and has 2 years to go. He has been slower at developing language but since starting at Playtime B C, his vocabulary and attention has improved immensely. He loves going and each morning arrives with a big hug for his key worker. He loves going to preschool. There is so much to do. They encourage everything in a way that is stress-free. They have a way of meeting each kid’s individual needs. Playtime B C continues to be an incredible place full of journey, understanding, patience, encouragement and excitement.
We are so pleased with our choice and look forward to another 2 years working with them and our son. Playtime B C has been an incredible preschool for our kids.

I’m impressed with the care and nurturing of the team and will miss them when we leave. Fantastic place for discovering and growing kids prior to joining full-time education at a bigger school.

The childcare centre is hosting many activities and provide a lot of assistance to parents in terms of kid development. My son enjoys going there.
The most important thing is that childcare centre workers are putting their heart into what they do. It is a excellent place! It is a great childcare centre.

January 29, 2025 at 9:59 pmIt’s only recently he started calling it pre-school as far as he was concerned it felt like going to a home where he was secure and cheerful consistently called it Mrs D’s house. I enrolled my son when he was just 2 years old, the assistance and discovering he has received whilst at Playtime B C Preschool will definitely help him when he starts big school, which, surprise surprise he doesn’t want to go to unless “my (Playtime BC) educators come with me”. My son loves the childcare centre.

March 9, 2025 at 10:32 pmMy younger son was particularly anxious when he started and the preschool was cheerful to be flexible about the settling arrangements and willing to allow me to stay as long as I felt necessary. The team are fantastic. They have such a inviting and attentive relationship with the kids and are highly supportive of parents too. Team have a highly positive ethos and any difficulties are dealt with sensitively. They also work hard to accommodate any need to change hours/days. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest this preschool to others. My two kids have both attended this preschool and I couldn’t be happier with the care and assistance they have received.

She has only been attending here since January and she talks about all her educators in such a lovely way.
I sense her educators have made a huge effort in making her sense welcome and getting her truly involved in everything.

There are consistently different activities for her to delight in and she has had two outings since she started. I have already recommended this childcare centre to two of my friends and their kids now attend here. Super spotless setting and I was made to sense at ease leaving my daughter for the first time. They helped her to settle quickly. My daughter started this pre-school in November and truly enjoys going.

excellent with her, she comes home most days singing new songs and has learnt lots since starting here.
Would thoroughly suggest Playtime B C to other parents. Lovely pre school, team are outstanding, my daughter loves going and now staying for lunch club.

June 6, 2025 at 6:01 amInitially, when she started, we had a few concerns about her speech and language development. Our concerns were immediately addressed and we were referred for speech therapy. However, with assistance from preschool team, she made great development and now we can’t stop her chattering! The preschool has lots of activities on offer and every day is a new adventure. Parents can see their kid’s development through updates in the electronic discovering journal; parents can also contribute. Most importantly, my kid feels secure and knows that her educators will take care of her at school. I highly suggest Playtime B C preschool as I believe it has been the perfect partner in my daughter’s education and a excellent launch pad for her journey ahead! My daughter has been going to Playtime B C preschool for nearly two years and it feels like second home to her!

Excellent updates by text, email and letter. ‘Parents Evening’ each term. My daughter has truly come on in leaps and bounds and loves pre-school. Her favourite things to do? going in the garden, playtime doh and French (a French teacher comes once a week). Truly lovely teacher led pre-school.
