Welcome to Buttercups Teddington. This, our newest nursery is conveniently positioned on Teddington High Street and provides a cosy, home-from-home environment.
Our Nursery Head Teacher, Sam, has 8 years’ of childcare experience and a Level 4 Advanced Management Qualification. Sam is passionate about childcare and really enjoys watching the children develop and learn.

Having an setting which is nurturing and enjoyable has truly developed our eldest in the right way both educationally and emotionally. As working parents this is something which was truly important to us. We have recently just started our second kid in the Baby Room and it truly has cemented our appreciation of how the focus on early years and effort put in right from the start has made such a positive impact. Big thanks to all at Buttercups! Both of our kids attend Buttercups at Teddington and adore it.

October 27, 2024 at 6:01 amThey consistently go above and beyond to not only teach and nurture our two kids at the childcare centre, but to make parents sense confident, in the loop and listened to. Introducing our 12-month-old to the childcare centre was the most positive part of my return to work after maternity leave. She was so cheerful, felt secure and loved and has developed so much, that we have had complete self‑assurance dropping her off each day. The management and team have been highly flexible, accommodating and welcoming too. We can’t thank or praise them highly enough. The team at Buttercups, Teddington, have been like an extension of our family!

The whole team truly does go above and beyond in terms of looking after their little charges and also do some stellar and highly well-attended parents/family events across the year. Highly suggest! Our son has been at Teddington Buttercups for over a year now and has loved it from day one.

January 28, 2025 at 2:48 amThe educators truly listen to any questions/concerns parents have and work in partnership with you on things like diet, potty training, discovering to write etc. The small setting means that all the team know your kid and actually learn your name too! My daughter has been at the childcare centre for nearly three years now and I can say that every room/age group has exceptional team leaders that she has bonded with and adores. The team at Buttercups are attentive, nurturing, exceptional educators and the (reasonably) new management team are stellar.

February 26, 2025 at 5:10 pmDuring this time we have consistently found this childcare centre to do so much more than they possibly have to. They put plenty of events on, that the parents can attend and delight in. Both of my kids have loved it and one still is enjoying their time here. The garden offers plenty of outside enjoyable and stimulation and the teaching we have consistently found to be remarkable. Highly suggest. My oldest kid and youngest one have attended this childcare centre since they were 11 months old.

Our kid comes home cheerful (and tired) from all the enjoyable he’s had every day and practically runs in there in the morning. We recently joined Buttercups in Teddington and have been so cheerful with their inviting welcome of our little one.

The new facilities create many spaces for different activities; the soft playtime, dance studio and the garden PE lessons. We would highly suggest as well-organised, compassionate and enjoyable childcare centre. Buttercups have been inviting and compassionate from the beginning.

They recently opened new facilities like a soft playtime room and a dance area, so there is lots to do. And the updates is exceptional too. I would highly suggest Buttercups Teddington to any energetic and inquisitive kid! We are highly cheerful with Buttercups and our son loves his time there.

He has been at the childcare centre since he was a baby and has just moved into the pre-school room. The transition has been well handled, and my son was ready for it; they truly know what they are doing. My son thrives at this childcare centre.

July 6, 2025 at 6:58 amYou know you have hit the jackpot when your kid looks forward to going to childcare centre and is highly eager – walks straight in with a big smile, runs to their educators and gives the biggest hug to them. The setting is great, but most importantly, the team are incredible. This, I believe, is the key to having a real cheerful/nurtured/well-rounded kid. The teacher-parent partnership is next to none and you sense involved in the most positive way with the childcare centre. Their ethos of discovering through playtime ensures the kids are taking in a huge amount without noticing as they are having so much enjoyable. Highly recommended! I can honestly say Buttercups at Teddington is the best small childcare centre!
