Smarty Pants Day Nursery

Smarty Pants Nursery is an exceptional and outstanding environment, where my child has grown in confidence and independence. The staff are friendly and approachable, with the environment being clean, safe and well utilised. The keyworker assigned to each child works to maintain and enhance the child’s development needs, from an educational perspective too. The activities change on a daily basis, as does the setting of the room, which I feel is important to keep the children engaged and happy. The staff feedback each child’s day in detail. They also do progress meetings, so you can sit down and read through their files and what they have been doing. My daughter loves going to nursery and has been there since she was a baby, she even asks to go on weekends, she has that much fun! They do a lot of reading and get to take books and activities home, which is educational and fun. It’s run by a family, who give their time and love as if we were their family. An Excellent Nursery, I recommend!

Smarty Pants on Plashet Rd is a lovely friendly nursery with excellent staff and facilities. The fact that it’s owner managed makes all the difference to make it feel like a home away from home for the little ones. Our little girl has been so happy and her development so much faster since she joined. We are lucky to have found this place.

Our son has attended Smarty Pants nursery since he was 10 and a half months old. He will be 4 next month. Over the past 3 years, we have been totally satisfied with the care he has received. All the staff are friendly, caring and helpful and quickly developed a great relationship with our son. They have always taken our son’s food allergies seriously and were supportive throughout his potty training. They offer a wide range of stimulating activities for the children and overall we are confident that our son is happy in the setting.

I couldn’t be happier with this nursery as they really look after the babies and kids, they have a great environment, activities and food. Also, the staff is always friendly and very helpful.

Our daughter has been very happy at Smarty Pants, the carers were all very friendly and passionate about children. The toddler’s room is big with lots of different play areas and activities change every day. Our daughter loved her key person and talked about her at home a lot. At first, she was quite reserved and timid but she grew in confidence thanks to the great staff at Smarty Pants. I would definitely recommend!

Lovely staff members, friendly environment, clean and comfortable. Meals are given to children on time and they are quite healthy. I like the fact vegetables are implemented quite often. My daughter’s progress has been excellent.

Very friendly and caring staff. My daughter absolutely loves attending Smarty Pants. She’s always excited to see her teachers and tell me all the fun activities they have done with everyone. From a young age, she has been attending where she has learned beyond her age.

My son has been attending Smarty Pants since he was a baby. Smarty Pants and the team have been amazing from day one. They take pride in what they do and really push children to achieve their best.
They use different ways to encourage children to learn different skills. They have a great mixture of outdoor and indoor play but also have great trips away from the nursery.
I could not recommend Smarty Pants enough and appreciate all their support in my son’s development for many years.
