The Willow Tree Nursery School

The Willow Tree is an exciting, OFSTED outstanding, independent nursery school for 2 to 5 year olds, situated on Wendell Park. We opened the nursery in 2010, to achieve the dream of creating a unique and welcoming, home from home environment where young children can thrive and develop. We strongly believe in learning through play and experiencing the awe and wonder of the world through the children’s eyes. We focus on the key element of children being children and do this using a range of imaginative, sensory and exploratory play. There are always lots of opportunities to get messy!
Our children move on to the reception classes of a mixture of local state and private schools when leaving the nursery. These include Wendell Park, The Good Shepherd, Greenside and Ravenscourt Prep. We use a range of strategies to ensure that the transition from nursery to school is as smooth as possible for children and their parents.
