November 13, 2024 at 3:24 pmThe team truly care and are interested in all that goes on in the kids’s life in and out of childcare centre. We adore the strong Montessori ethos and are pleased with the development in skills and discovering. The facilities and outdoor space allow for a wide range of activities to be done. My kid has been here since he was 9 months old (although they can now only start at 3 years) and he just loves coming to childcare centre.

January 31, 2025 at 9:13 pmThe team are welcoming, inviting, attentive and expert.
The Montessori approach has helped my son immensely with developing his independence and self-self‑assurance.
The setting is remarkable with access to large fields and a forest school area.
My son particularly enjoys the music session with the music teacher.
I have been continually impressed with all the extras this setting provides- special Mother’s Day tea, trips into town to the library, forest school and lovely Christmas parties to name a few. My son has attended Brookes Cambridge for the past 2 years and I can not rate the setting highly enough.

March 2, 2025 at 6:19 amWhen I asked my two year old Son if he liked his house or would prefer to live somewhere different, he said “I would like to live in my house at Brookes (Cambridge)” I don’t think here could be any better commendation.

March 21, 2025 at 6:36 amHer language skills have truly advanced to the point at which other adults comment on her vocabulary. She loves attending and asks why she can’t go in the school holidays. The team in both rooms know each kid truly well and are consistently ready to listen to and pass on information. They are sensitive to a kid’s individual circumstances and needs.
It is unfortunate that the childcare centre ceased to accept Early Years funding, but the decision to allow my grandaughter to continue here anyway was not difficult given the her development and the obvious benefits to her. My grandaughter, who was already a bright and confident kid, has blossomed during her first year.

April 10, 2025 at 2:08 amMy kid loves going to school because he enjoys the variety of discovering resources and feels genuinely cared for by the team members. His unique strengths are used to facilitate discovering and exploring. The childcare centre team are fantastic.

April 22, 2025 at 9:17 pmHe has been attending this childcare centre for 2 full days a week since he was 1 and is just about to turn 3. My son has benefited from the small class sizes and the Montessori way of discovering. He loves all the outside space at the childcare centre and truly enjoys forest school, yoga and French.
The team are truly welcoming and attentive to both the kids’s and parents needs. It is clear to see the childcare centre manager genuinely cares about the kids (who adore her) and is committed to her job. She is is a total asset to the childcare centre. My son has dairy and multiple food allergies and the childcare centre and catering team go out of their way to accommodate his needs and to ensure he feels included in special events. Brookes Cambridge Childcare centre is a truly lovely, secure, creative, calm, and nurturing setting for my kid to grow and develop in.

June 29, 2025 at 11:15 pmThe team at the childcare centre are outstanding and they work so well together as a team. I consistently sense rest assured that my kids are cared for to a standard I would expect at home. They provide incredible conditions with a huge range of activities including a forest school which is much loved by all the kids.
I have no worries in saying that my kid is fed nutritious food and never comes home hungry. The Montessori setting means that my kid can express himself and learn in a way far beyond the classroom. The facilities are well laid out and there is an abundance of equipment and areas for the kids to playtime with. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Childcare centre to any future parent. Both of my boys have attended the Brookes Cambridge Childcare centre over the last 5 years.

July 2, 2025 at 7:45 pmHe has grown into such a confident, independent and bright little boy. He takes part in a varied range of activities and appears to thrive in the Montessori class setting. He amazes us with the sheer amount of knowledge and facts he comes home with. They run Forest school sessions which my son adores, his adore of the excellent outdoors has just been intensified by this remarkable opportunity. Their online discovering journey is remarkable and gives such a valuable insight into his enjoyable-filled days. I adore the fact that I can contribute to this from home also. If you want a nurturing enabling childcare centre setting for your kid to attend where they can sense secure, valued and respected as individuals then Brookes is for you. Your kid will grow in independence and be given endless opportunities to follow their curiosities and be taught key skills for life. I couldn’t ask for a better setting or set of practitioners to care for him.
