January 23, 2017 at 12:00 amBrookes Cambridge Nursery is a really lovely, safe, creative, calm, and nurturing environment for my child to grow and develop in. He has been attending this nursery for 2 full days a week since he was 1 and is just about to turn 3. My son has benefited from the small class sizes and the Montessori way of learning. He loves all the outside space at the nursery and really enjoys forest school, yoga and French.
The staff are really friendly and attentive to both the children’s and parents needs. It is clear to see the nursery manager genuinely cares about the children (who adore her) and is committed to her job. She is is a total asset to the nursery. My son has dairy and multiple food allergies and the nursery and catering staff go out of their way to accommodate his needs and to ensure he feels included in special events.

January 23, 2017 at 12:00 amBoth of my boys have attended the Brookes Cambridge Nursery over the last 5 years. The staff at the nursery are outstanding and they work so well together as a team. I always feel rest assured that my children are cared for to a standard I would expect at home. They provide amazing conditions with a huge range of activities including a forest school which is much loved by all the children.
I have no worries in saying that my child is fed nutritious food and never comes home hungry. The Montessori environment means that my child can express himself and learn in a way far beyond the classroom. The facilities are well laid out and there is an abundance of equipment and areas for the children to play with. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Nursery to any future parent.

February 2, 2017 at 12:00 amI couldn’t ask for a better environment or set of practitioners to care for him. He has grown into such a confident, independent and bright little boy. He takes part in a varied range of activities and appears to thrive in the Montessori class environment. He amazes us with the sheer amount of knowledge and facts he comes home with. They run Forest school sessions which my son adores, his love of the great outdoors has just been intensified by this fantastic opportunity. Their online learning journey is fantastic and gives such a valuable insight into his fun-filled days. I love the fact that I can contribute to this from home also. If you want a nurturing enabling nursery environment for your child to attend where they can feel safe, valued and respected as individuals then Brookes is for you. Your child will grow in independence and be given endless opportunities to follow their curiosities and be taught key skills for life.

March 21, 2017 at 12:00 amWhen I asked my two year old Son if he liked his house or would prefer to live somewhere different, he said “I would like to live in my house at Brookes (Cambridge)” I don’t think here could be any better commendation.

March 21, 2017 at 12:00 amMy grandaughter, who was already a bright and confident child, has blossomed during her first year. Her language skills have really advanced to the point at which other adults comment on her vocabulary. She loves attending and asks why she can’t go in the school holidays. The staff in both rooms know each child really well and are always ready to listen to and pass on information. They are sensitive to a child’s individual circumstances and needs.
It is unfortunate that the nursery ceased to accept Early Years funding, but the decision to allow my grandaughter to continue here anyway was not difficult given the her progress and the obvious benefits to her.

March 23, 2017 at 12:00 amMy son has attended Brookes Cambridge for the past 2 years and I can not rate the setting highly enough.
The staff are welcoming, warm, caring and professional.
The Montessori approach has helped my son immensely with developing his independence and self-confidence.
The setting is fantastic with access to large fields and a forest school area.
My son particularly enjoys the music session with the music teacher.
I have been continually impressed with all the extras this setting provides- special Mother’s Day tea, trips into town to the library, forest school and lovely Christmas parties to name a few.

March 27, 2017 at 12:00 amMy child has been here since he was 9 months old (although they can now only start at 3 years) and he just loves coming to nursery. The staff really care and are interested in all that goes on in the children’s life in and out of nursery. We love the strong Montessori ethos and are pleased with the development in skills and learning. The facilities and outdoor space allow for a wide range of activities to be done.
