We made no mistake in our choice. The team are outstanding. They cannot do enough for my daughter who needs a little extra help. She has come on leaps and bounds and we put that down to the exceptional journey of the team. I’ve never seen an unhappy kid in the childcare centre! So incredibly cheerful with our choice of childcare centre. After intensive research, my husband and I chose Norfolk Lodge for our daughter and enrolled her immediately.

Following the unexpected closure of the childcare centre where our son was attending, we thought we would enquire again and as luck would have it, a space was available. Our son’s development at Norfolk Lodge has exceeded our expectations and he loves his time at the childcare centre. The team are incredible and consistently available to chat about anything and thankfully team turnover is very low, unlike the previous childcare centre our son attended. The team have a real bond with the kids, which I believe contributes significantly to our son’s development there. To boot they have remarkable grounds, to playtime in and explore. As parents, we are delighted and grateful that our son attends Norfolk Lodge. Seeing our son walk in and give a cuddle to his key workers is simply incredible. Norfolk Lodge had consistently been a childcare centre of interest, but there was no availability initially when we enquired.

There is something very special about this childcare centre. My daughter has progressed and going from an anxious kid she is now one of the most confident. I can’t fault this childcare centre, they are incredible. All the team go beyond their realms of duty.

The reviews with the educators are listened to and acted on effectively. Excellent methods are being used to improve my son’s language and number skills along with teaching him how to playtime. World-class service, consistently. My son’s self‑assurance and speaking has improved vastly.

He has a gorgeous relationship with his class educators and a rapport with non-teaching team. This has not happened by accident – there is a genuine ‘family’ ethos which is just so valuable. As a parent, I have full self‑assurance that my son is not only in expert care but is participating in a variety of age/skills appropriate activities tailored to his needs and interest. The management team are approachable and responsive. The facilities are outstanding. I was delighted with the childcare centre when my oldest kid attended and I sense the same with my second. My third kid will be attending too! My son loves his time at childcare centre.

They both adore it here. My eldest has learnt so much and absolutely loves her teacher. We’ve had a few days where they have been a bit tearful when dropping off, but within a couple of minutes they’ve been absolutely fine and I have been able to call and get reassurance from the team that they are fine.

They do so many activities with the kids and the outside and inside areas are excellent. Such a welcoming, fantastic place. I’m so cheerful my girls are here. My cousin used to attend over 10 years ago and this childcare centre was recommended by my aunt. The standards have consistently been high and they still are! My eldest started in September last year and my youngest started this month.

We’ve had both of our boys in (one is finished, the other still in) – we couldn’t ask for more. The team are inviting and attentive, but also push the development of the kids. There is a excellent amount of space and substantial outside time to explore. The childcare centre has been incredible.

He has only been here for just over a term but he settled in amazingly thanks to all of the remarkable team.
The childcare centre itself is excellent from the resources down to the outdoor spaces which are available to all of the classes. I am very cheerful with our decision to send our son to Bright Horizons Norfolk Lodge Montessori Day Childcare centre. The childcare centre’s outdoor is really great but the building was a bit outdated. In the beginning, we felt that it was a nice place for our kid. However, it should be noted that they have a window of 15 minutes for pick-ups and drop-offs and if you are one minute late they have a go at you or hand over the kid without even telling you whether he has even eaten or slept all day. The breakfast club and the after four activities are charged extra and they combine all the classes together. Also, they never used to inform parents of any contagious sicknesses so my little one for the short time that stayed there was constantly sick. Worst of all is that they do some type of time out like a naughty step and when I raised it they denied it when it was obviously happening as my little one was coming home and was putting me to do time out after the childcare centre and many parents confirmed it. I signed up my little one here after the incredible reviews I had heard but soon after I decided to change childcare centre.

We have a very cheerful girl who is excited to go to childcare centre. She is discovering lots and participates well due to excellent educators!
An area of improvement would be the outside garden area to have more facilities. Also for the car park to be maintained to fix pot holes. Outstanding childcare centre with excellent team who have an interest and outstanding level of care for the kids.
