Stars & Sparkles Day Nursery

From the moment we walk through the door, our daughter is greeted with a smile and warm hello. What a fantastic childcare centre Star and Sparkles is! There’s consistently a variety of activities set out for the kids to delight in. We truly look forward to seeing the pictures that we are sent when our daughter is at childcare centre – it’s lovely to see her so cheerful and engrossed in the activities she’s been doing that particular morning.
From a parent’s perspective, the childcare centre is very well managed. We are kept up to date with frequent newsletters, and Facebook consistently had lovely updates showing what the kids have been up to and what’s up and coming.
All of the team are very lovely and approachable, they make time to answer any of the questions we might have.

There are plenty of varied activities for all the kids to playtime, to get creative and to learn. Stars & Sparkles Day Nursery is a lovely place for our 4-year-old to come.
Each morning my kid happily heads through the door excited to get started, and at the end of the day, is keen to show me what she has done.
The place is bright, fun and secure, with a great indoor and outdoor space for them to delight in and explore.
The team are very welcoming and keen to work with the parents to help the kids learn and grow. They are also consistently cheerful to listen and help with any concerns or questions you may have.
I would definitely definitely suggest this childcare centre to any parents thinking of bringing their kids here.

She wasn’t potty trained, but they supported her, and she smashed it. My daughter has attended Stars & Sparkles Day Nursery since September 2022. Within the first few weeks, she was very timid around new people and shy, but now she is thriving and asks to go to school every day and gets upset when it’s not her day to go in! Highly suggest this day childcare centre – such lovely welcoming practitioners!

My daughter enjoys going into the childcare centre. Very welcoming team and welcoming setting. There are open activities to keep her entertained and interested. I truly like how the childcare centre team have a theme based on a book each half term. My daughter has enjoyed this, and she has been able to recite parts of the book studied that term. Staff are also very informative; each afternoon I am given detailed feedback on what my daughter has been doing and how she has been throughout the day. With our report from her key worker, it was very detailed and accurate. I’m cheerful with the service we receive!

She has never properly settled in previous settings but has felt comfortable and cheerful from the first day of attending here. My little girl absolutely loves going to the childcare centre. She consistently asks if she has childcare centre, as she is excited to attend.
The team are lovely, consistently there to have a chat if you have any concerns and keep you updated with how your kid’s getting on. I adore the app that they use to send you photos of what your kid has been up to.

That was the childcare centre’s first year. My little girl was attending Stars & Sparkles last year in the preschool group. My little girl started attending from the first day of the childcare centre opening. I was very nervous as I moved her from a different childcare centre, where we were cheerful too. We moved her only because it’s in the school where her older sister is going. With two kids, I have journey with a few nurseries and consistently thought that it’s not possible to be perfect for everyone with a large number of kids. However, the Stars & Sparkles team proved me wrong – they are perfect in every aspect. Playtimes are thought through with plenty of discovering opportunities, and a warm, welcoming and nurturing setting. Staff are consistently cheerful, well‑informed, welcoming, and understanding and treat kids with respect and empathy. I have never, in any of the nurseries, seen such genuine care for kids. I hope they will never change and will consistently stay the same. Whatever it is they doing – it’s perfect.
