September 7, 2024 at 8:54 amMy son attended Young Haymakers, and my daughter has started this month. Both have had/ are having the best time.
We could not ask for more from a childcare centre.
The updates, the facilities, the care the kids receive, the activities and experiences available are all faultless.
What an outstanding childcare centre we are fortunate to have in our community. Young Haymakers and the fantastic team team have been nothing but incredible.

September 15, 2024 at 3:39 pmMy wife and I can go to work secure in the knowledge that our kids will be cared for and enjoying themselves throughout the day, and therefore, we are able to concentrate on our work without worry and stress.
There is consistently a variety of activities going on, from forest school to baking and everything in between! We have many pieces of art now hanging from our walls that our kids have done during the day.
Both kids have made strong bonds with members of team, and they both often talk about the team with fondness.
They have also made great friends with other kids.
There is also the very important aspect of discovering, which again both of our kids come home and have clearly been discovering great skills which are preparing them for the transition to school. Both of our kids have had and still are having a fantastic time in the lovely surroundings with the excellent team at Young Haymakers.

October 3, 2024 at 6:35 pmBoth our boys have attended from the age of 9 months and have absolutely flourished there. The setting and ethos is so lovely and supportive. The team have made such a lot of effort to get to know each of our boys as individuals and tailor activities and approach based on their very different personalities and needs. I can’t imagine finding a lovelier setting for my kids and I have no doubt that it is providing a exceptional start to life. We’re so delighted with Haymakers.

October 6, 2024 at 9:08 amHe has made some fantastic friends and loves his educators. Young Haymakers is situated in a unique rural location, which allows the kids lots of space for outdoor playtime and the chance to explore the surrounding countryside. We delight in hearing what he gets up to each day – singing, painting, cooking, stories and discovering lots about wildlife and the changing seasons. We are confident that Young Haymakers is the very best place to prepare our son for school next year, and we are pleased to continue our relationship with Young Haymakers when our younger son starts. Our eldest is in his second and final year at Young Haymakers and absolutely loves it.

November 14, 2024 at 10:57 pmit is a fantastic setting for little ones with lots of outdoor space and the most nurturing team you could meet. My first daughter who is now at school enjoyed 2.5 years at Haymakers and was sad to leave, her sister is now there two days a week and loves it! I can’t fault Young Haymakers and consistently suggest it to everyone I meet with young kids!

December 9, 2024 at 7:43 pmThe team are really experienced and have been able to get the best out of my little ones, to the point where my youngest gets upset when we pick him up as he wants to stay. COVID was a challenging period, but I felt the team handled this so well, and my little girl was able to carry on enjoying these precious years in blissful ignorance of what was happening in the wider world. I really like the fact that there is a lot of outdoor playtime and exploring and really sense that this setting has given my kids an incredible start in life. Both my kids have attended Young Haymakers from 9-months, and we have been delighted with the childcare centre.

December 30, 2024 at 2:17 amShe sailed in happily from her first day, thanks to the nurturing and attentive team and the setting they have created. The team are incredible and offer unwavering assistance. We are particularly grateful to them for their positive attitude during the pandemic and in such challenging times. We were greeted every day by a smiling face, secure in the knowledge that she would be well cared for. Our daughter formed a strong bond with her key person, who she still talks about regularly. It truly is an outstanding setting; the well-considered opportunities for discovering are exceptional, and we saw our daughter flourish during her time there. There is a strong focus on the individual kid’s needs and interests, and these are well nurtured. We only wish our daughter could continue her education there; we would jump at the opportunity! Our daughter attended Young Haymakers for 2-years, and we couldn’t be more delighted and grateful to have found them.

January 17, 2025 at 11:01 pmThe team are absolutely fantastic, creating a inviting, attentive and nurturing setting in which the kids thrive. The team really get to know the kids and tailor discovering to their needs and interests and are consistently available to offer advice and assistance. The setting and facilities are stunning, in a quiet rural location, with a lovely outside area and access to woodland. I sense the supportive and attentive setting and approach, encouraging resilience and perseverance, has given my kids an outstanding introduction to education, which has helped them when starting school and has set them up for future discovering. My two kids attended Young Haymakers, one from the age of 18-months and the other from the age of two years until starting school, and I would not hesitate to suggest the childcare centre.

January 29, 2025 at 9:49 amWe had a dreadful journey sending our twins there for one term last year. As working parents, we wanted to find somewhere with experienced educators who would be pragmatic in their approach. We were definitely lured by the idyllic rural setting but that is the only thing that Haymakers has in its favour in my opinion. From the very first day, we were confronted with drama and negativity and a real ‘can don’t’ attitude. And so it continued week after week of this at every pick-up and drop-off, which we came to dread.
I think more fundamentally though, we found them to be rather cruel to one of my twins who was struggling with language and expression. They ostracised and labelled her “difficult” because they lacked the care and patience to work with her. I can say all of this very confidently having watched them thrive, since January, at another childcare centre. A huge relief for us after this journey. I would not suggest this childcare centre at all.

February 3, 2025 at 7:20 pmI had problems leaving my son with anyone, he could not cope being away from me, I had tried many times…then I found Young Haymakers. They are all so welcoming and expert…my son’s keyworker worked with him for his needs and made him sense secure, secure and cheerful so it was not long until he just waved goodbye to me and happily went into the childcare centre. HE LOVES IT!! My son has come on AMAZINGLY with his speech and physical skill as well. Their facilities are remarkable as well. It is spotless and well laid out with so much to do for the kids and the outside is incredible with lots of discovering and enjoyable things to do. Also, my son loves the walks they go on in the woods. My son and I believe there could not be a better childcare centre. I could not be happier, Young Haymakers is well above outstanding.

February 27, 2025 at 10:16 pmI consistently sense that my kid is nurtured and cared for as an individual with his own specific needs and character traits being worked with and enhanced. I am confident that the childcare centre are honest with me in relation to my kid’s happiness and development whilst under their care. Exceptional updates between the key-worker and parent appears to be a priority.

March 4, 2025 at 1:18 pmThis is my third kid to go to Young Haymakers. I wouldn’t have wanted my son to go anywhere else. My two daughters flourished at Young Haymakers and still request to go back to holiday club, they started school with so much self‑assurance and were able to write their own names count to above 20 and have so much of the early years foundation skills under their belts, thanks to Young Haymakers. In my opinion, the facilities are above average situated in the most lovely location and to top it off, the team are incredible and go above and beyond to ensure the kids are cheerful and are supported with their educational and social needs. Currently, my son who is 19 months attends Willow room, which is purpose-built for under 2’s, he loves Young Haymakers and the team are so compassionate, compassionate and expert, I sense so comfortable leaving him and never had a problem with separation anxiety.

March 8, 2025 at 4:11 pmWe felt that it was an inspiring, nurturing setting from the moment we arrived to view it prior to our first son starting there. This was latterly reinforced when looking for another option with longer hours, we couldn’t find anywhere even half as great.
Our boys are consistently cheerful and excited to go to childcare centre and are equally excited to tell me about the many varied things that they have done on each day they attend.
It’s a truly outstanding discovering setting with attentive, motivated, nurturing team and management.
I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Young Haymakers and couldn’t imagine a better place to send my own kids. Young Haymakers has been nothing short of stellar in the care and development of both of my sons.

March 18, 2025 at 5:50 amShe hasn’t consistently found it easy with a new sibling to deal with, along with all the challenges Covid gave us all. Young Haymakers and all of their team made her journey so positive and full of adore and laughter.
My daughter is quite sensitive and can find new situations difficult; she has also struggled with verbalising her thoughts and feelings at times. Keeping all of this in mind, the team went over and beyond to nurture and assistance my daughter in every way they could. From using photographs, visual aids, Makaton signs, and more than anything else, they provided her with so much adore and warmth, that before long, she started to sense so secure and nurtured that she really blossomed.
She has loved childcare centre and progressed so much; she comes out singing, dancing and is full of smiles.
I would suggest this childcare centre to everyone. It is just lovely… a real treasure. Our daughter started at this childcare centre just before her second birthday.

April 2, 2025 at 10:48 pmThey helped to instil a adore of discovering in our kids. The setting is stunning surrounded by rolling fields and forests. The team teach the kids forest school taking them out into the countryside which allowed our boys to journey the natural world first hand. The facilities are outstanding and we loved the Montessori aspect of the education they provided. Our boys loved attending the childcare centre and consistently wanted to go back! Both of our sons attended Young Haymakers childcare centre and we can’t thank the team enough for all the care, encouragement and guidance they provided over the years.

April 13, 2025 at 6:31 amAll the team were so welcoming, well‑informed and attentive. They really supported my son with separation anxiety and was constantly thinking of new ways to help him and assistance me. The team are very person-centred, and having a key person for your kid is very beneficial.
My son loved Young Haymakers; he loved the fact there were various environments for him to explore, especially the outside areas and the woods.
He consistently came home cheerful and talked of all his friends and educators. He still does, even though he has left to go to school.
The team are consistently willing to talk to parents or set up meetings in order to chat at length.
I cannot suggest Young Haymakers highly enough. My son attended Young Haymakers from the age of two.

April 20, 2025 at 1:25 amThe lovely team at Young Haymakers have taken excellent care of my little boy, who attended the setting and flourished in their care. He has just moved up to primary school and is confident, cheerful and wanting to learn – I can only thank the team at Young Haymakers for this.
The team at Young Haymakers were nothing but patient, attentive, with remarkable updates skills throughout (verbal, written and emails). Nothing was ever too much, and I can honestly say, if I ever have any more kids, I will be sending them here in a heartbeat. I have only positive thoughts and words about the team here… and I can’t suggest them highly enough.

May 23, 2025 at 5:27 amThe team are intelligent, engaging, devoted and compassionate. We truly sense they have each kid’s welfare front of mind. My 2nd daughter joined Willow Room when it first opened (lovely space). Young Haymakers Montessori Childcare centre is open about all aspects of childcare centre life, so we were thrilled to return with my son in January 21. We don’t have family assistance nearby, so the transition was a worry. The team were incredible, and focused on respecting each kid’s individual needs, increasing the sessions gradually as each kid grew in trust and self‑assurance. The team weren’t fazed by our little family quirks. My son recently moved up to Oak Room, and he literally skips in each day. He adores the team, and his days are packed with Forest School, tailored and varied activities, plus an impressive outdoor educational playtime area. We adore that simple community values are also taught. Compared to other outstanding settings locally, Young Haymakers Montessori Childcare centre should receive a Platinum Award; they are a cut above with high team retention.

May 26, 2025 at 9:20 pmMy youngest is still there currently after joining when she was one. We, as a family, adore Young Haymakers. We see all the team like family, my daughter even calling the educators her best friends. She comes home cheerful every day and loves all of the outdoor activities they do. Both of my daughters have attended Young Haymakers.
