October 8, 2024 at 11:48 amKids learn so much from just being in nature. Wildflowers provide a very supportive setting to build self‑assurance and independence in kids. It has a very balanced combination of outdoor and indoor activities, healthy nutritious meals and experienced, loving team. View less. My daughter has been attending Wildflowers since she was 3 and loves it.

October 19, 2024 at 4:21 pmKid-led discovering with boundaries as necessary – such places should not be a rarity, rather a norm! Thoroughly suggest. A magical place where kids can thrive and develop, connect with nature and each other.

January 2, 2025 at 4:06 pmOur son has also started and will attend until he needs to leave for school. The owner/manager (who runs it) is originally from Sweden and has a passion for educating young kids by enabling them to use their instincts and intuition in a secure and structured way.
The first half of the day is spent outdoors in the forest (come rain or shine) where she will take them on walks and allow them to learn through playtime. The kids are encouraged to work together to solve problems and snacks are offered in the form of water and homemade bread. Afternoons include a rest, lunch and discovering in a beautifully converted barn.
Our kids have flourished in this setting and I can highly suggest that it makes your shortlist for prospective pre-schools. It has multiple Ofsted ratings of outstanding and if you haven’t heard about it that is because the marketing is word of mouth only! Our eldest daughter started Wildflowers forest school when she was 3 and has attended to July 2020.

January 6, 2025 at 10:15 pmWe were searching for a nature orientated kindergarten that allowed our little one to develop at her own pace. Since starting at Wildflowers our little one has blossomed and is growing from strength to strength. She is so excited to go to kindergarten in the mornings and equally when we pick her up in the afternoon. All she can talk about is her kindergarten and the friends that she plays with each day! The manager and her team are absolutely incredible and are extremely attentive to the kids’s needs and development. Wildflowers is truly a magical place and comes highly recommended! We were fortunate to discover Wildflowers!

January 7, 2025 at 8:35 pmThe kids spend most of their time outside, come rain or shine, experiencing and discovering from nature. They delight in the freedom to express themselves within the stability of a structured routine. And whilst they’re busy having enjoyable they accidentally learn a huge amount, developing both as little people and also absorbing knowledge from the attentive and exceptional team. We sense incredibly fortunate to have found Wildflowers Kindergarten. Our son has thrived and we can’t wait to send our daughter when she’s old enough. We couldn’t suggest it more highly. Wildflowers Kindergarten is an exceptional place run by incredible and dedicated individuals.

January 14, 2025 at 3:05 amWe had been looking for somewhere with an outdoor focus on education and Wildflowers more than ticked the box. It is a really unique kindergarten, with a remarkable team wholly focused on supporting, educating and attentive for the kids. My son is now an all-weather kid, genuinely cheerful to be outside in wind, rain or snow. His speech has come on leaps and bounds and he is a very cheerful and sociable kid, all of which I put to the care he has received at Wildflowers. I cannot suggest Wildflowers Kindergarten and team more highly. Our son started at Wildflowers just before he turned three.

June 26, 2025 at 7:17 pmThey don’t take toys outdoors… this is a proper “forest school” where they head out into nature with curious minds and playtime playtime playtime! Kids are taught the importance of community and respect.
You really have to meet the team and spend time with them which is encouraged, it’s magical. I sense very grateful my kids went here. Both my kids have been fortunate enough to go to Wildflowers and I couldn’t suggest it highly enough.
The owner/manager is so passionate about early years and wants the very best for your kids.
The team are fantastic and attentive.
The food is vegetarian and organic and they eat by candlelight in a calm and organised setting!
They venture out every day regardless of the weather.
