March 13, 2020 at 12:00 amI have had nothing but good experiences since enlisting my 2 year old son at Tops Day Nurseries: Boscombe Nursery. The team have been extremely friendly and helpful on a one to one basis. Also, my son has a great time and it was warming how the team aided him in the settling in process.

May 12, 2020 at 12:00 amTops Boscombe is a wonderful setting for any child. The staff and management are friendly, flexible and resourceful. They provide spaces for babies and children to really flourish in their environment. Teamed with nurturing staff and extra activities like forest school and cookery school, this is an excellent start for any little one to learn and grow.

May 25, 2020 at 12:00 amUp until recently I have had two children at Tops. My daughter has missed her older brother. Staff have been so attentive to her needs – giving her extra cuddles. Recently my daughter moved rooms, the transition was so supported, that it went very well despite the close bond she had with staff in the room she was leaving. Both of my children have loved the extra activities Tops provide, especially forest school.

June 8, 2020 at 12:00 amI’m very pleased with the kindness of the teachers at Tops Day Nursery, Boscombe, especially during this difficult time, my son’s nursery closed during the COVID-19 pandemic as they are a small nursery. At the beginning of the pandemic, we managed to look after our 3 sons because of my mom being temporary “stuck” with. She came to visit and couldn’t return to her home country. After 5 weeks of 3 under 5’s being locked in the house we started to struggle, especially my mom, as she was left by herself looking after them when me and my husband are both key workers. The manager at Tops Day Nursery was very understanding and supportive and she tried her best to get our son into the nursery. When the great news arrived that our son could go to the nursery 3 days a week we were all very pleased and relieved. Our son loves the setting, his new friends and all the teachers. June 19, 2020 at 12:00 amMy two-year-old daughter has been going to Tops Boscombe for just under a year now and she has settled in very well, thanks to the help of all the staff. She absolutely loves going to nursery now and comes home telling me all about what a good day she’s had with all of her friends. The care she receives is excellent and I would recommend Tops to anyone.

July 21, 2020 at 12:00 amI have used tops nursery in Boscombe for almost two years, my sons started at (near) two years old and (near) four years old up to three years old and five years old.
* The best:
The carers: they divide the children into four areas, each area is for a group of age. There is a main carer for each area plus the assistant(s).
All of them were amazing!
It’s really helpful and comfortable that you can rely on them to care for your child; they always called me if something happened and just to keep me updated of any accident or issue.
This is for me what makes difference and matters.
I don’t want to make this a long and tedious review to read, the negative aspects are really few and are no worthy for comments.
This particular nursery has my praise and I will recommend it to anyone.

However, the staff have been amazing both with getting her settled and reassuring me! She absolutely loves going to nursery and has come on personally so much since she started! Thank you all!

March 4, 2021 at 12:00 amSince my child has started at Tops Boscombe, she has loved every second of it. I was very nervous about sending my baby off to nursery, but the staff and nursery as a whole have made it easy to leave her in someone else care. Would defiantly recommend!

Throughout the pandemic, the nursery has been supportive and understanding, whilst ensuring the safety of staff, children and parents. They offer a great range of resources for the children to play with. Additional cooking and forest school too, never mind the flexibility with bookings! It’s awesome!

March 8, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son loves going to his sessions. He has got a really good relationship with the staff. Whenever I pick him up, I always have brief feedback about how was he through the day. Everyone is extremely helpful and kind. I am completely satisfied.
I received updates about everything, so I am always up to date.
The app system gives an insight into what my son was doing, what his interest was for the week.
The admin team and manager is also very helpful and understanding, even in tricky situations, and I can comfortably turn to them for help or guidance if needed.
I can definitely recommend this branch.

December 2, 2021 at 12:00 amI love this nursery, my little girl won’t even say goodbye to me when dropping her off as she just wants to go in and get busy. I love the way they do daily diaries so you know exactly what they have been doing while there, they really take care of the development and understanding of how your child is improving. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

December 2, 2021 at 12:00 amI really rate Tops Nursery Boscombe, so much so that when we moved a couple of miles away, we kept our daughter there rather than move her to a closer one. My daughter has built up great attachments to the staff in the baby room and I really get a feeling that they truly care about my child’s wellbeing and happiness. The staff are always friendly and professional and I have recomended Tops Boscombe to a friend of mine who is about to return to work and is looking for a childcare solution.

April 21, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son has been at Tops Boscombe for just over four months now, and he has settled in so well. I am really impressed with the attentiveness of the staff, how well they communicate everything with me (both the nursery staff and admin staff) and how much my son loves attending. It is great that they make use of the outside space when the weather allows, and they always have different activities going on to keep the children engaged. They provide daily diary updates on the app in a timely manner and also share pictures on a weekly-or-so basis of what my son has been up to, which I love seeing. For me, the things that interested me about Tops more generally was the flexibility of bookings and their commitment to sustainability. I really value that they offer good vegetarian meals for my son and that they are supportive of our choice of using reusable nappies (and actively promote this).

Both my kids went to this nursery; they were very happy.
The staff is amazing and very helpful and lovely.
My kids learnt a lot of things, and they were very happy to go to nursery.
The nursery is very clean, and they have lots of activities.

There is good communication between home and nursery; both written and verbal feedback is very useful.
I am very grateful to all the staff and his key worker, who has been amazing.

I love the flexibility of hours it really helps with work patterns.
My daughter always comes home happy after her day at nursery, this really makes me feel at ease when leaving her in their care.

August 7, 2023 at 12:00 amLovely staff, excellent facilities, very clean and children were all surprisingly chilled on an open day visit which I feel is a reflection of the amazing staff.
My daughter loved her time at this nursery and graduated up in to big school but still comes in holidays for the hi5 club which is also outstanding.
I highly recommend a visit to see for yourself.
