Tops Day Nurseries: Lakeside Nursery

She has come so far in her development and is so confident. My daughter adores her key worker, as well as all the other ladies that care for her and I can just tell how loved she is there. All I ask for in a childcare centre is that my daughter is well looked after but the childcare centre goes above and beyond. There is consistently so much for the kids to do and my daughter at 15 months, runs through the childcare centre doors in the mornings and doesn’t often want to leave. I suggest the childcare centre to anyone and having the flexibility of shifts has been so supportive. Thank you Lakeside. My daughter has been at Lakeside since November 2018 and I can’t thank them enough.

He absolutely loves it. As a parent, it is the hardest thing to leave your precious little one with anyone. This team make that so easy. There is a true feeling that they care for my little one and you can see, hear and sense that in everything they do. I could not ask for more, a huge thank you. One of the incredible things is forest school. My son has so much enjoyable exploring outside and everything they do in forest school is so creative, enjoyable and educational. The team at Tops sense passionately about following the kids’s interests. My son absolutely loves space and science and recently they have been conducting science experiments! The updates is outstanding, regular photos and updates throughout the week and great quality handovers that never sense rushed. All of this is a testament to the way the setting is led, the childcare centre manager truly cares about giving each and every kid the best start in life! I highly suggest this incredible setting for my son.

She thrives in this setting and is so cheerful. The updates is excellent. I consistently have a full understanding of my daughters development and a picture to go alongside which is lovely. The team at Tops really understand my daughter.

I adore the whole eco values that the childcare centre holds and sense like it would be invaluable for any kid. The activities that they do are all exceptional teaching kids values and life skills from such an early age.
The team have all been exceptional, approachable, welcoming, and all excellent with the kids. My son didn’t want to leave after just a week of attending.
It is excellent that they give a variety of healthy dishes for the kids to eat with no added sugar and also from weaning stages.
Another excellent feature of this childcare centre is the flexible bookings so you only have to pay a minimum of 6 hours per week which is excellent when on holidays.
Overall one of the best nurseries that I visited and can’t suggest it enough. Such a excellent childcare centre.

The team are remarkable and he loves them, to the point where if he doesn’t want to get dressed in the morning I name the team and some of his friends there and then he gets dressed straight away! There are so many different activities to keep him entertained and they go outside every day, weather depending, which he loves. The app is exceptional and it’s really nice to see pictures of my little one enjoying himself when his family isn’t there with him. The team are very attentive, about the whole family as well as the kids and very supportive and well‑informed. Thank you for looking after my boy so well, it’s really reassuring knowing he’s in such great hands. My boy absolutely loves going to childcare centre.

Team make me sense very comfortable with leaving my daughter in their care. My little girl is doing so well there. And consistently smiles and gets excited when we enter the door. A lovely childcare centre.

I’m so glad my daughter had the opportunity to go there before going to school and that my son still does. The team are so compassionate and gentle and go above and beyond for the kids on a daily basis. We adore the fact that Tops is an eco childcare centre, especially as it meant my son could continue wearing reusable nappies at childcare centre as well as at home due to Tops fully supporting this and even washing and drying my son’s nappies at the childcare centre! When my daughter had to leave Tops to go to school she was really sad, not just about leaving her friends but also the team. Tops offers their holiday club which my daughter has been to during half term and really enjoyed it. Their flexible booking system is incredible. I can book the exact hours I need just one week before and the team have consistently been so supportive and tried to fit my son in if I’ve had last-minute changes to my work schedule. My son and daughter have both flourished going to Tops. Thank you! Tops is a remarkable childcare centre.

I have seen many lovely pictures of the activities he does with his friends and he tells me all about the enjoyable he has had. He is developing very well due to the setting at Top Day Nurseries: Lakeside Childcare centre. Also, the flexible booking is excellent. Thanks to the whole team. My son has a excellent time here.

I asked him if he was looking forward to school in September 2021. He said “no I want to stay at preschool mummy.” I think that sums it up. I’m a single, full time essential worker. There’s no chance I could have made it through the lockdowns in the last year without the nurseries assistance. The educators are beyond compassionate and attentive. I’m able to book last minute hours on the day if I need them and at a reduced price. The flexibility is incredible. Throughout the pandemic they have gone above and beyond in terms of protecting my son and all the kids. Frankly, I can’t fault them. My son loves attending.

Our daughter is thriving and we couldn’t be happier. She loves integrating with Investigators and its lovely that she gets the chance to mix with the older kids and to learn from them. I am generally really cheerful for her to come home filthy and grubby as it shows that she’s given the opportunity to explore and is cheerful to do so, however, lots of her clothes are paint-stained and I wonder if there’s a way to reduce this. I understand that catching the kids to put aprons on may interrupt the flow of their playtime and I’m not sure I can offer any solutions! This is only a really minor point though and I cannot thank the team enough for all that they do. As usual, we cannot fault the care provided in Explorers.
