The Butterfly Patch Sutton (at Avenue Primary)

The nursery is beautifully set up and organised. Every day it is clean, inviting and has a different range of activities on offer as well as familiar toys and self-selection. The children are greeted warmly and with a real personal touch. The staff have got to know my child very well and he has settled in and feels confident and happy. The staff always let you know the details of the day and the app gives you the daily diary and observations during the day, which is great! I am very pleased with the care and kindness that the staff show.

Our son has been attending Butterfly Patch at Avenue since September 2019. The staff have helped him to settle well into the nursery and he loves the time he spends there. We are kept up to date with his daily activities and can see he is having so much fun! I was initially worried about him being able to sleep in a different environment but the staff have been fantastic and he is happy having his daily naps. All food is provided and he loves what he is given, often having 2 hot meals a day as part of the daily menu. The environment is brand new and a lovely place to be with a nice sized garden. It is also nice to be located within the school as it feels very safe.

One of the hardest things I’ve done as a parent is to leave our daughter and transition back to work after maternity leave – during a pandemic. I couldn’t thank enough the caring staff who have helped me do this. I feel relaxed leaving her, knowing that she will be safe and have lots of fun.
Much effort goes into providing a wealth of stimulating, fun and exciting activities and the staff are great at interacting with her. I love that she plays outside in the fresh air every day, which I think is extremely important.
The staff give feedback at the end of the day and the app provides a daily ‘Diary’ and observations during the day.

My daughter absolutely loves to go to The Butterfly Patch Avenue Primary Academy. She has learnt a lot of new words and saying thank you and sorry has become second nature. There are many things which drastically improved since attending this daycare like trying to do an activity on her own, trying to become independent with self care skills and play skills. Highly recommend.

My son has had the best experience. His learning and social skills have improved dramatically! All the staff are very friendly and happy to answer any question you have. We’re looking forward to seeing what the next year brings and excited to bring our youngest into the experience of nursery. Definitely recommend to anyone!

The team at The Butterfly Patch Avenue Primary Academy have been absolutely amazing over the lockdown period since January. In extremely challenging circumstances, they have continued to provide the best care for our children. Every morning and evening, they are there with a smile on their face. They make you all feel a huge part of the nursery family at a time when people could feel isolated. My little boy loves going to nursery and he is making fantastic progress, which is hugely down to the wonderful adults at the nursery. As a parent, I feel the staff know my son and genuinely care for him. I’m so pleased we chose The Butterfly Patch Avenue Primary Academy.

My one year old absolutely loves going to nursery! When I returned to work in October, I was extremely worried about leaving him, given he hadn’t spent time with anyone other than his immediate family and it was a huge relief to see him settle in so quickly. The regular updates and photos showing us what a wonderful time he has been having have been really appreciated and the friendly, caring staff are a credit to the nursery. He gets excited to go to nursery every morning and comes home at the end of every day messy and exhausted. This is testament to the great day he’s had at The Butterfly Patch Avenue Primary Academy.

Such a welcoming nursery, as we were viewing nurseries, the Butterfly Patch, Sutton was the one that made us feel the most welcomed and suited the needs we wanted for our son. Every member of staff is lovely and the manager is always there to help, if we have a problem. Each day our son is at nursery, we get updates every day about how well he is doing or not doing. We also get updates on what he’s eaten throughout the day and how long he has slept! I definitely couldn’t recommend a better nursery than this one!

My daughter has been attending the Butterfly Patch at Avenue Primary Academy for a year. From day 1 the settling support she received was fantastic. Nothing got in the way of ensuring that she had the perfect start to Nursery. The staff are all so friendly and genuinely care about the children’s well-being. They listen to parents’ views and provide excellent feedback. We get regular updates on the activities the children have been doing and opportunities to participate in a range of national events. As my daughter is about to move to the over 2’s room, preparations have already been put in place to ensure that she has a smooth transition to the new zone. I honestly couldn’t ask for anymore.
