My daughter has been attending Stepping Stones since she was thirteen months. She is now three, so she’s moved through all three rooms. In all cases, I can say that our experience at this nursery has been fantastic. Our daughter has flourished since she started attending Stepping Stones. She is an only child, but her social experience has been so excellent that nobody could tell that she has no siblings. She is happy every day that she gets to attend and has really strong relationships with many of the other children and several of the nursery workers. Every week they set up some new and innovative activity for the children to enjoy, often using natural/recycled resources. The meals they serve are varied and nutritious and our daughter always eats everything! I cannot say enough good things about Stepping Stones and it will be a sad day when it’s time to leave!

My eldest daughter has been attending Stepping Stones for the last two years. She thoroughly enjoys her days there and has made some brilliant friends who she will be starting school with. The ladies who work in my daughter’s room are incredibly friendly and clearly care a lot about the children. The manager is a huge credit to the nursery and makes everything run smoothly.
My youngest daughter is due to start the nursery next year and we know she will be left in good hands!

I’ve had two children attend the nursery. One has moved into school and my youngest now attends. My youngest moved out of baby room recently. I can’t shout loud enough about the ladies in baby room. The activities are varied and they really care about the children. Now, my son is in toddler room and he loves it there too. The girls invest themselves into the children’s likes and dislikes and what they need. They get to know them so well. My son loves it and I’m glad he attends somewhere that makes him feel so comfortable.

Both my boys have attended the nursery and have developed and enjoyed their experiences. When there have been any concerns, staff are fast to act upon them. The manager cares for the children as her own and they all feel valued. I wanted a small nursery with a personal approach to the children and this is exactly what Stepping Stones offers.

We have had a positive experience at Stepping Stones. Our little boy has been here since he was one. He is now two and a half years old and the nursery have been very supportive. The staff are very caring and understanding of my son’s needs and have helped him to do things independently and do a number of activities to keep him engaged and are aware of his interests. He has delayed language skills and they have liaised with other agencies and helped him to become more confident and improved his social skills. Our son is very settled and especially enjoys the outdoor space activities.

My daughters are new to Stepping Stones and only there one day per week in the baby room. The staff, facilities and meal plans have been my favourite parts so far. The staff in the baby room and in the office have been helpful with paperwork and really got to know our girls and how to make them comfortable being away from home for a full day, for the first time. I’m assured that they are well looked after, and they also give me, as their mum, reassurance and information as needed. The facilities are quaint and really allow for playtime and fun for the babies. They go outside every day and really get messy, which I love! Lastly, I feel like they eat healthy and often.

My son loves attending Stepping Stones Day Nursery. He used to be really quiet and shy, didn’t want to play with kids, just me and my husband. I had my son during lockdown and it used to be just us three. Since he started nursery last year, he is very social, loves playing with kids, developed so many skills including communicating in two languages. He is bilingual and it took him a while to start talking but I want to say a massive thank you to all staff at nursery who encouraged him throughout many creative activities. We practiced a lot at home to help and he became a very bright, caring, independent little boy. Thank you so much for not only looking after our son, but making him feel safe and important, you make him feel like home.

I love my daughter’s nursery. Every member of staff knows her name, they are caring, they love her like she’s their own and she is very well cared for which reflects in how she feels about nursery. Every week she cannot wait to go and spend time with her friends. From the moment she walks in she is greeted with a smile and if she’s ever sad there’s always a comforting arm for her to go to. My child has just turned 2 and without nursery she wouldn’t know half of what she does already. She knows the days of the week, she can count unaided to fifteen, she knows a handful of shapes and she can recite any nursery rhyme you ask for. The time the staff put into their development to get them ready for school is fantastic. It may not be the most modern nursery with state of the art amenities, but the children are all well cared for and that reflects in their happy faces.

My daughter has been going to Stepping Stones for a year and a half. She really struggles socially and had a bad experience previously. Since going to Stepping Stones they’ve gone above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and fits in. They have all the time in the world for her and understand her character and quirks. She is always happy and chatty on the way and when leaving and they really have made her feel special. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. My son will certainly be attending when he’s old enough too.

We have been a family of Stepping Stones for 5 years now and I would more than recommend them. We have had nothing but positive experiences with the nursery and the staff that work there. My children have made some amazing bonds with the staff and the care and support that is given is fantastic. They always try to accommodate every situation and help in times of need, my son was going through a very clingy stage not long ago and they did absolutely everything to try and make both him and myself as a mother feel comfortable and in no time at all he was back to his normal self. This was a difficult time but I was quickly put at ease with the support they provided.
I have nothing but love and appreciation for everyone at Stepping Stones Worsley and will be sad to leave when the time comes.

My little boy started at Stepping Stones back in May 2023.
My son has a great attachment to his key person as well as the other staff in the under 2’s room, we feel very supported and nothing is ever too much for them when it comes to his care.
I was concerned about my son’s development before he started, the staff have been great about my concerns and have made resources for me to take home to do with him. They also made activities and resources based on his interests, needs and learning styles which he has always thoroughly enjoyed! My son only does one day a week, which can be hard to get a full detail of his development but we are provided with a weekend book and home observation sheets which is a nice touch and helps me keep Nursery up to date with what he is learning at home. We love all the staff, the learning environment and we are very happy with the nursery.

My son attended here and I cannot recommend Stepping Stones enough. He has learnt so much from attending here and they really do care for your children. He absolutely loved his key workers and manager. I believe he is ready for school all thanks to stepping stones. He has become more confident and learnt a lot of new skills without even knowing he is learning as they make everything fun. They are very resourceful and teach the children using different techniques to cater for each child. Thank you for everything you have done for my son!

Stepping Stones is a fantastic nursery. My daughter started when she was two (now three) and has absolutely thrived there. Her speech, confidence, and social interactions have increased so much since she started; it’s wonderful. The staff are all friendly and informative. They make an effort to know each child individually and support each child in their interests and learning curves. I highly recommend Stepping Stones and look forward to sending my younger child there in the future.
