Description
Children need to explore and learn at their own pace. Once they gain confidence and discover the joy of learning, that’s when they start to fly.
Every day, we see how your child is progressing, their likes and dislikes, and tailor their learning accordingly.
At the beginning, your child will concentrate on personal, social and emotional development, alongside physical development, communication and language skills. Our over-threes build on these areas with literacy, maths, and creative arts and design. By the time they leave, children can count and do simple sums, and are enjoying learning to read and write whilst learning about the world through expressive arts and design.
If a child is absorbed in a book, painting or game, we let them carry on. We also make sure that books, sorting and counting games, and drawing, writing and painting equipment are always available. So when your child’s ready to learn something new, inspiration is within reach.

June 1, 2016 at 12:00 amMy daughter is now 18 months old and has attended since she was 13 months old. The staff are friendly and caring towards her. I like how the staff change the baby room often to keep the kids interested. The kids do a variety of activities each day which is good and time is taken to teach the kids new words and actions. The nursery always make an effort to take the kids out and take them to a variety of places to learn new things. Overall my daughter seems happy with the nursery.

June 28, 2016 at 12:00 amThis nursery has been a god-send. The happy and stable environment has allowed my son to blossom. I have always struggled with leaving my child in the care of others but Bright Beginnings have always made me feel comfortable in the knowledge that my son is in the best care. The staff seem to have endless energy and enthusiasm and are extremely flexible when it comes to taking care of the needs of the individual. They follow the child’s interest and gently nurture them. My son always comes homes with stories of what he has been doing and he genuinely loves the people that take care of him. I feel very lucky to be part of their community.

June 28, 2016 at 12:00 amThe nursery is a fantastic environment for our son and we are so pleased with how much he has come on since being there. He adores it, the facilities, activities and staff (also the food!!). The manager is always accommodating to our needs and for that we are very grateful.

August 3, 2016 at 12:00 amOur son has been attending Bright Beginnings on Twickenham Green since November 2015 when he was 11 months old. We have nothing but the utmost praise for the nursery and its staff. They work incredibly hard are very dedicated and cannot do enough for our son. They are very communicative and are always there for us when we need advice on how to ensure our son develops to be a wonderful young man.

August 3, 2016 at 12:00 amOur daughter has flourished under the care of the amazing and dedicated staff. Targets for development are clearly communicated and adhered to. The room is beautifully set up for learning with clear spaces for the children’s different interests and skills. Nursery news and ideas are shared well with parents with good opportunities for input. Overall, we are very happy with this wonderful nursery.

August 3, 2016 at 12:00 amMy son came from a different country so there was this challenge of language barrier and the differences in food, how to cope with other children from different countries and background but within a couple of months after joining the nursery he got along very well with both teachers and his mates. I believe strongly that the support he needed, his teachers provided them adequately and timely and that contributed to his massive improvement within a short time.

August 3, 2016 at 12:00 amMy son has attended nursery since January 2016 and his development over that time has been incredible. The staff quickly got to know his needs, likes and dislikes and he is so excited to go to nursery every day. He loves the daily outings and there are always plenty of activities planned throughout the day to keep him entertained. He is incredibly happy, well cared for and has made some fantastic friends.

September 12, 2016 at 12:00 amI would highly recommend Bright Beginnings to any parent.
Putting my child into someone else’s care for the first time was a daunting thought, but they settled both my child and me into it so well and I have complete trust in the nursery and know my child has such great fun when there.
Not only do they have fun, but the nursery helps towards their development and communication skills which are important. Every child is individual and they recognise this and work on each child’s own needs and goals. Plus, they go on little outings which not all nurseries do, and have great messy play (which means children learn and have fun, plus you don’t have to do this all the time at home and clean all the mess haha)!
I’m very happy with all staff and activities at the nursery and most importantly, my child enjoys it too!

September 26, 2016 at 12:00 amWe started at Bright Beginnings Day Nurseries Twickenham last September when my daughter was just over a year old. We’ve now ‘graduated’ up to toddler room, but the level of care has been consistently great throughout. Like most mums, I was nervous when my daughter was starting nursery, but the room manager and her key persons really helped both of us settle in. And I’ve seen her come on leaps and bounds in the time since she has started. The rooms are brilliantly done, with loads to keep the little ones busy. They always take the little ones out (weather permitting) for loads of singing, feeding ducks, to the park etc. But the best part about the nursery is the staff. Each day I receive a full report of what she’s done while there, we have clear developmental goals defined together for the little one, and regular reviews to see how she’s getting on. Highly recommend this nursery to everyone, and a big thank you to the staff for being so amazing!

January 30, 2017 at 12:00 amMy son has been at Bright Beginnings for over a year now and is very happy there. It has a lovely family atmosphere and I genuinely feel that they love and care for my son.
They are always busy with lots of activities and get out everyday to see different parks and places. The rooms are well done and the staff are very good. It feels small enough to be safe and friendly, and big enough to have lots of stimulation for him to learn and grow.
I never worry about how he is there as I know that he is being well looked after.

February 1, 2017 at 12:00 amThe nursery is clean and tidy. The staff are well presented, kind, organised and welcoming. The nursery is very secure and in a strategic location so the children can enjoy walks to the parks and riverside. I am always provided with daily logs of all the activities done by my son, the amount of food he ate, nap times he had, nappy changes etc. Which I like a lot. Older children are kept separate, so the babies are safe in the baby room and they also have a quiet room for their naps. The staff are great!!

February 1, 2017 at 12:00 amMy toddler has been attending Bright Beginnings 26 The Green for several months now and the positive impact this has had on her development is clearly noticed by myself and family.
All the staff are very nurturing and the environment has a home from home feeling about it. I can go to work feeling confident my baby is in a safe, caring environment where she is learning and having fun. Daily activities are logged in a report card and videos and photos uploaded onto a secure site so I can see what she has been up to which is really nice.
The meals are nutritionally balanced and she gets fresh air every day on long walks in the buggy (weather permitting). I would definitely recommend this nursery.

October 10, 2017 at 12:00 amOur daughter has been going to Bright Beginnings on the Green for a few months now. The team have been really supportive throughout the settling in period and our little lady loves going so much that she asks to go on her days off!
We wanted her to be in and settled before our second baby arrived, which we have achieved perfectly with the help of the Toddlers team. They talk about mummy having a baby in her tummy and are assisting us with what is bound to be a rocky transition period for her while she gets used to having a sibling. It’s wonderful to know she is being guided on this at nursery as well as at home.

July 16, 2018 at 12:00 amWe love Bright Beginnings Day Nurseries Twickenham. The staff are both loving and professional. Each person brings their unique personality and creativity and forms a special relationship with the children. The manager is flexible and does a great job making everything work together and fit in with our family. There is no outside space but they have regular activities outside (and different things inside) plus we sometimes get handmade gifts (that my son would have needed a lot of help with!). Occasionally, we get photos on their ‘tapestry’ system. I can’t imagine a better bunch of people looking after our son!!!

July 26, 2018 at 12:00 amWe have 2 girls attending this nursery (one in toddler and one in pre-school) and can’t speak more highly of it. The staff are fantastic and the environment is wonderful.
We were initially concerned re the lack of outdoor space in the nursery itself, but daily trips to the Green and other parks mean our girls spend more time outdoors than at their previous nursery which had its own garden. It also allows them to safely explore the area and introduce us to locations/parks/wetlands/etc that we ourselves knew nothing about.
The administrative side of the nursery is run very tightly, but they are also very sympathetic and flexible to the realities of working parents.
The nursery combines fun and learning in a really inspiring way and both girls come home excited to tell us about their discoveries that day. They’ve also both developed very close bonds to various teachers/carers.
We’ll be very sad when its time for the girls to leave and would absolutely recommend the nursery to anyone.

November 27, 2019 at 12:00 amMy son attends nursery 5 days a week. Our circumstances are slightly unusual in that we are in the process of moving to New Zealand in the next few months. Rather than enrolling our son in school, we chose to keep him at nursery. The downside is that he lost all his friends as they left for school. For a short period, his confidence dipped and he was noticeably unhappy. This review is to thank the team. We asked them to focus on our son to help him find his place again and they have been brilliant. One for delivering change, another for being his rock and a third for bringing that sense of fun, always welcoming him every day with a huge smile and a hug. Within weeks we noticed big changes, as his confidence returned, but with a new sense of purpose and responsibility as a little leader and he now loves nursery again. From a parental perspective, his happiness is our number 1 priority. So thanks for being great at what you do.

December 23, 2019 at 12:00 amMy son has been at the nursery for almost a year now. The staff are great, all are so lovely and my little one likes going to nursery. I’m quite pleased with the meals provided and the day trips to the nearby parks, the post and the shops as well as the charity events they’re organizing. They keep us up to date with photos and activity reports through ‘tapestry’ and we’re getting many handmade gifts and art! The only downside so far is a huge sandpit they’ve built which creates a real mess and is unhygienic. Sharing my concerns they’ll soon take this apart though and it will really be a 10/10 for me. Thank you for everything!!

December 30, 2019 at 12:00 amMy son has been in the nursery since September of this year. I find the staff at Bright Beginnings in the Green very friendly and kind with the children. The new director is so easy to talk to and always try to help me with any concern that I have. I’m very pleased and happy that I placed my son here.
