Poppies Daycare Nursery Perham Down

My son settled truly well initially although there were some hiccups when team changed around in September. However, he is now highly well settled again, gets excellent stimulation and care in a well equipped and loving setting. Food is remarkable! Feels highly personal, even when the childcare centre is busy. I would suggest. Excellent childcare centre, reliable and surprisingly flexible (for a childcare centre!).

Neither my hubby nor I trust highly easily when it comes to anyone in regards to the care of our kids but I can honestly say Poppies negates any need to worry at all.

Our daughter started as a 9 month old baby; they were exceptionally compassionate and supportive and addressed any concerns immediately; it is not an easy thing for a parent to leave their most loved little people with anyone, but there is no need for concern at Poppies.

The team are fantastic. They all bring different things to the table but are all attentive, compassionate, enthusiastic and nuturing. One team member is especially fantastic; she comes from a large family and it shows; the kids gravitate towards her and she is gentle, and granny like. Both of my kids adore her. She to our family is the unsung hero of Poppies.

The routine at Poppies works wonderfully, though flexible it is school like which the kids thrive on. There is consistently a new theme and its tailored to the kids’s interests which makes it highly interactive and enjoyable place. They have a pet snail who the kids adore and they are encouraged to care and take ownership of him.

Poppies has free flow into the outside space which is large and fairly well equipped. My kids adore the mud kitchen and the slide. There is also a Wendy House and various areas which they adapt to playtime and interests. That said the kids often go for walks and explore locally. Just yesterday Poppies class went walking to gather blackberries. Needless to say she adored it.

Our son is in Lady Birds which is pre-school. He thrives there, its run in more of a school like fashion and he adores it. He is discovering French and loves to share his new words and songs at home with us.

Both kids have incredible vocabularies for their ages and are well rounded and cheerful kids. They adjust to new situations well, are able to problem solve and are keen to learn; they truly thrive at Poppies.

The care, education, assistance and security for childrens at Poppies is incredible. We are a forces family and our son is on his 5th childcare centre through moves. He has never been more settled or cheerful and we as parents have never had more trust or satisfaction in any childcare centre setting. Its super and though its a pretty penny its worth every one. We have two kids attending Poppies, both 3 and under.

The team are all welcoming and competent – they are enthusiastic and organise lots of different activities for the kids. The routine for each day means that my daughter is highly settled and comfortable, but she learns something new through all the different organised discovering activities whilst also being given free time to explore, be independent and make her own enjoyable. The food is outstanding and she consistently eats seconds of her main or pudding! The outside area is used a lot which is great to see. Overall I would rate the childcare centre as great and would definitely suggest it to friends. I am highly cheerful with the care that the childcare centre provides.
