Perfect Start Day Nursery - Haywards Heath

His key worker and all the ladies in his room know everything about him and I adore that he goes up to them for hugs when we arrive in the morning. What’s so lovely is everyone knows him so well even in the older rooms, it feels like one big cheerful family. There are consistently lots of different activities set up for the kids and I adore getting pictures of all the enjoyable things my son gets up to throughout the day. He absolutely loves the food, which is healthy and varied. Since starting he has learnt so much, he comes home singing and is saying lots of words, as well as using sign language, they clearly spend a lot of time engaging with him throughout the day, he comes home so cheerful! My son has felt cheerful and settled since day one.

As soon as they each started they settled truly quickly and built excellent bonds with all the team, not just their key workers. Every member of team seems to know their names and genuinely cares for them both.

They’re teaching our kids so much and truly helping us as parents to make sure that they’re flourishing and doing their best. The management team is incredible, and consistently there when we need them. They’ve also been outstanding at keeping us up to date with changes during the pandemic.

The food is consistently nutritious and creative and they delight in the meals there.

Most importantly, they’re both exceptionally cheerful there and though they’re full time seem to consistently be smiling and laughing when we pick them up at the end of the day.

I can’t rate the entire team highly enough. Both of our kids attend Perfect Start (in the baby room and older toddlers) and they absolutely adore it.

We moved to the area, which meant a new start for our two toddlers and the team couldn’t have been friendlier to make our kids sense welcome. All of the team are so attentive and patient with the kids. The childcare centre has such a lovely sense and I’m particularly jealous of the food each time I pick the kids up. Absolutely tremendous childcare centre, I couldn’t suggest it highly enough.

All the team at Perfect Start Day Childcare centre are incredible…Our daughter has been here since 18 months and is finishing in September starting school, they have a excellent team in place from management down to the guys in each room.

The facilities are stylish, spotless and functional with toys and equipment that is high quality, providing the perfect setting for kids to learn and have enjoyable in. What truly makes the difference in this childcare centre is the team. A special mention to one member of team, who has been my sons key worker since he joined. His key worker is full of enthusiasm, professionalism and energy. Another member of team takes a highly genuine interest in the kids and is consistently a pleasure to talk to on pick ups. I would suggest this childcare centre wholeheartedly, each morning my son can’t wait to spend the day with his friends and I am so grateful to the team for all that they do. Having looked around a large number of nurseries, I can confidently say that none of the childcare centre settings in Haywards Heath come close to what Perfect Start Day Childcare centre – Haywards Heath can offer.

The team are all incredible and it’s lovely to see how my daughter interacts with everyone. What with Covid it’s done her the world of great and her speech etc has come on so much. She even learnt sign language early on so was able to communicate with us from an early age. The younger toddler room has increased her self‑assurance in playing with others and discovering how to share.
Can’t suggest the team/childcare centre highly enough – they all know my daughter by name and I don’t sense guilty leaving her there as I know she’s in excellent hands and having lots of enjoyable.

He has come out developmentally delayed by some stretch and is now having to repeat reception. Some of that may just be how he is, but some of the fault can certainly be put with Perfect Start. We found the preschool room is not strictly made up of kids that were preschool ages, ie. 3-4 but younger and there were too many kids to assistant ratios so I’m not sure how much 1:1 time he got… if any, he was often left to his own devices to playtime all day. High turnover of team, there were 4 different managers during our time there and countless different assistants, mostly young and inexperienced.
When it came to his time to leave Perfect Start, despite them marking him as passing all areas of the EYFS, he could not pick up or use a pencil! I’m not entirely sure what they are doing in preschool but it’s certainly not preparing them for school.
Would not suggest. If you want your kid prepared for school…choose somewhere else!
We had our son here from age 2.5 up to preschool.

The venue itself is well equipped and welcoming. The team are consistently smiling and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. It’s such a relief to drop your kid off for the day knowing he will have a excellent time consistently. From the first moment we walked into the childcare centre we knew this was the place for our son.

They certainly care for the happiness and well-being of the kids and I sense confident that my kid is being looked after properly when in their care. I couldn’t suggest them enough. I was exceptionally anxious about sending my one year old to childcare centre but have found Perfect Start Day Childcare centre – Haywards Heath to be outstanding.

My daughter has had some mobility issues due to a temporary condition and the team could not do enough to help her and make her sense comfortable and involved! She consistently has a remarkable time and has learnt so much I am amazed every time we collect her. Food is fantastic and the equipment is second to none.
Highly pleased that we chose Perfect Start Day Childcare centre and fully expect my daughter to be there for years to come! An all-round remarkable childcare centre with fantastic team!
