March 3, 2022 at 12:00 amThe best nursery and preschool in the area. Both of my daughters love to go there. Teachers are amazing. I love the space indoors and outdoors. Kids do lots of different activities every day, I like the fact that they spend time outside every day, no matter the weather.

March 3, 2022 at 12:00 amPennies Day Nursery has provided a safe, fun and educational place for my daughter to grow, learn and make friends. A child who could at times be shy and clingy, the journey from the baby room all the way to preschool now, has developed her confidence, social skills and she will be well equipped for starting school when the time comes.

March 3, 2022 at 12:00 amExcellent team, caring and loving. My oldest was very happy to play and learn at Pennies Day Nursery back in 2020/2021. Now my little one goes with the same pleasure. The way he says “I am missing my teacher” think it speaks itself how special every child feels in the setting. Highly recommend.

March 3, 2022 at 12:00 amMy girls have attended Pennies Day Nursery Newnham Court for the last 7 years since they were babies. I always know that they will be well looked after, well fed and most of all have lots of fun! The nursery is really friendly with great facilities and my girls love attending the PKC holiday clubs. I wouldn’t send them anywhere else.

March 7, 2022 at 12:00 amMy child is about to transition to her next room after being cared for in the shooting stars baby room. I was hesitant to send my little one to nursery due to her being a lockdown back but I am so pleased that I did. Her key worker and all of the staff have been amazing. They are so caring, attentive and just lovely people that I have had no hesitation in leaving her in their amazing care. She is naturally a shy child but she loves going there. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone considering sending their little one.

They have been brilliant during Covid and have kept open the whole time, even when there has been a lot of staff sickness. I go to work each day knowing that my child is happy and safe. Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

He now really enjoys every session and has grown in so many ways, we are so happy we choose Pennies. We are kept updated with his day and really value the staff that make it such an enjoyable experience for all the children. We are very happy with the nursery and would recommend to others.

March 30, 2022 at 12:00 amWe have nothing but positive things to say about this nursery. We moved our son (3 years old) here from another nursery where he wasn’t very happy. The staff have looked after him and been very mindful of the change for him. He can be shy/sensitive at times but they have made him feel welcome and included. He tells me about the different activities he competes and he loves playing in the garden. We have now moved our daughter (1-year-old) here too and she loves it. Best decision we have made.

September 15, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son absolutely loves coming to the Pennies Kids Club during the school holidays. Every day of every week is so varied, it’s clear they put a lot of effort into planning each day to make sure it is jam-packed with activities. They also do 1 or even 2 trips per week ranging from the zoo to the beach! I’ve been so impressed and more so my son loves to go which is the most important thing. Thank you Pennies

October 12, 2022 at 12:00 amAbsolutely incredible nursery. Have nothing but sheer amazement for the staff and everything they do. I cannot even put into words the confidence that my 1-year-old has developed since attending Pennies to the point she screams in sheer delight when she sees where we are. As a working parent that’s all you could ever wish for. My only slight reservation would be the cost. It is so expensive with no flexibility on days as an emergency services shift worker I have to pay for full days even when I don’t necessarily need it due to working shift patterns. If I had further children in the future I think I would have to pull my little one out of pennies as would not be able to fund more than one child attending. Agree that you pay for what you get though and for now absolutely love pennies and everything they do.

December 9, 2022 at 12:00 amAfter visiting stay and play at Pennies, Newham court I must say I am blown away at how amazing and professional a certain member of staff was in shooting stars! She interacted with all the children and even the parents, she was so welcoming I really recommend this nursery to all parents/carers.

March 22, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been so happy since joining Pennies in 2020. The staff are exceptional and each key person my daughter has had has known her so well. The activities they provide for the children are fun and original. The management are approachable and helpful and I would highly recommend Pennies Newnham Court to anyone looking for quality childcare.

April 3, 2023 at 12:00 amI love Pennies Day Nursery because my daughter loves it and has flourished over the years. Her current key person is fantastic and so have the previous ones. She is confident, happy, eloquent, independent and opinionated. As a working mom, I would have struggled to bring up such a well-rounded toddler. Thanks to the manager and the amazing staff at Pennies.

She has so much fun doing all of the activities and playing in the garden.
Every single staff member is incredibly caring and we are so lucky to be able to work and feel comfortable with our little girl being here.

July 19, 2023 at 12:00 amPennies is a great nursery. It’s a stimulating environment where you see the children really develop. Great staff, and also a really nice big garden play area.
My son has had a wonderful time here – so much so that his little brother will be joining shortly (beware!). Big thanks to the team for all you’ve done!

July 24, 2023 at 12:00 amAmazing from start to finish. Both my children have attended term-time Preschool over the years, with my son due to finish here in a few weeks. Can’t fault the team at all. Two staff members, in particular, are so good with the children, nothing is too much and they are just all round good eggs. Thanks for looking after my two amazingly and getting them ready for their next big step; school!

July 27, 2023 at 12:00 amWe have had an amazing experience with Pennies Day Nursery – Newnham Court, Maidstone. They have taught my child a lot including communication, friendship and teamwork. The summer fun days they have yearly are a special treat for both kids and parents. The atmosphere is always happy and it’s a lovely way to meet and spend time with other parents, children and staff. It is one big family there and you do feel it.

I can’t thank Pennies enough for the support and encouragement and care all the staff at Pennies has shown her. Pennies has given her a great foundation for her development and learning, she is confident, independent and happy, she has made friends and loves her key workers. My daughter was slow to develop in some areas and the staff at Pennies were on it, they monitored, encouraged and supported her in her language, behavior and understanding.
Thank you Pennies, as a working mum it has been invaluable to have you providing her with a variety fun activities, different meals and learning opportunities that I would never have been able to do, especially messy play.
