Pembury Nursery & Pre-School

It was a last-minute decision to come to Pembury Childcare centre but as soon as I walked in you could sense the care that each of the babies and kids receive and the consideration that goes into making each day enjoyable, relaxing, and engaging. I couldn’t wish for a more lovely nursey for my son!

She has come on leaps and bounds and has grown hugely in self‑assurance since joining the baby room. The team are so compassionate and nurturing and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of childcare. It is truly a home away from home! My daughter is flourishing at the Pembury Community Childcare centre.

Also cheerful that the meals are cooked on the premises in a fully equipped kitchen. The management and other team have been extremely attentive, conscious and generous. They have supported our 2-year-old after returning to the childcare centre, post-recovery from a serious illness, with unexpected sensitivity and care and we are grateful to them.
After re-settling in, our son seems cheerful and engaged with all the activities taking place around him. We consistently find him engaged in some task and there is limited, or no screen time but a lot of messy playtime, which we like a lot. I like the space of this childcare centre that allows kids to get in and out of the garden and engage in several playtime areas, as they wish.

They are attentive and inviting. They’re there when it’s needed but they are also teaching them to become more independent. They organise and rotate activities so the kids keep discovering and discovering. Every day, my son comes home with new words he has learned, new stories he has heard, new topics he has discovered. The childcare centre also has an outdoor area, which is widely used when weather permits. My son has been at the childcare centre since he was four months old and it’s like his second home. I’m really impressed by the work done by Pembury’s team.

His previous childcare centre had expelled him for more challenging behaviour.
In Pembury sometimes it got hard to cope with him but they never stop trying. In only 5 months my son has changed so much, I was about to drop out of university due to his situation but the members of team encouraged me not to.
This childcare centre played a pivotal role in mine and my son’s lives. FOREVER GRATEFUL!

The outdoor area could be bigger/greener but kids seem to like it! Lovely, attentive and creative team and management team.

My daughter has absolutely loved it there and we’ve felt very secure. A exceptional childcare centre with very loving and attentive team.

Team is welcoming but changes very often. Room with toddlers and preschoolers is busy and garden fairly small. Clothes tend to go missing regularly. Management of the childcare centre is welcoming. Value for money not so much but nurseries are expensive in London. Childcare centre could do more trips with kids. Cleanliness is ok but the childcare centre has gone through a number of outbreaks of disease which I guess is not uncommon. At the end of the day my son seems cheerful there. Childcare centre is satisfactory.

He loves going to childcare centre and I have been consistently impressed with the level of care and attention that he receives from the team. The team are inviting and genuinely attentive and I know I can go to work without any worries about whether my son is being well looked after. The space is excellent – the garden is large and well away from any roads – and the activities that the team arrange every day are enjoyable and engaging. I’m really impressed with how much my son has learnt in his time at the childcare centre. The food is very great and I particularly like the fact that the kids are encouraged to experiment with cooking themselves. All in all, a really lovely, attentive setting. Highly recommended. My son has been attending Pembury Community Childcare centre for just over two years.

Lots of updates with Pembury with how my daughter was settling in and now she is so cheerful and can’t wait to attend Pembury childcare centre every day even on her off day. Cheerful kid, cheerful parent. All the team members and management team have a passion for their work, are nurturing and supportive of the kids’s individual needs. Big thank you to the new manager for stepping up after another the old manager left. Would suggest Pembury childcare centre to family and friends. My daughter transferred from another childcare centre to Pembury Nursey and am extremely cheerful with the move as it is can be difficult with change at such a young age however the transition was really great.
