Our kids are absolutely thriving. The team are so compassionate and truly make an effort with each kid. Both of them adore it, and all of the extra things that they do truly make a difference! We are so grateful to have found Orchidale.

The kids were running around having an absolute blast. It was utter chaos but exactly what you want kids to be, kids. We had viewed nurseries before this one and it all felt regimental and sterile, making sure they were ready for school. Nothing wrong with that but it wasn’t for us. Orchidale gets them ready for life and teaches them so much more than just being classroom ready. As a first time mum, it was consistently going to be hard entrusting someone else with my baby but I have so much self‑assurance in the team in the 0-2s and especially mine’s key worker. She loves going to childcare centre and started to pick up so much just from being there. I will never stop raving about this place. It’s exceptional and if you don’t believe me, just go and look for yourselves. The moment we stepped into Orchidale Kids’s Childcare centre we knew it was the right place for our little one.

Our second kid is booked to start in August this year.

I was consistently worried about my little one starting childcare centre; however, this is the best decision I ever made.
Having been shown around Orchidale, I had a fabulous feeling it would be perfect for her. From day one, my daughter has enjoyed herself profoundly, and this is thanks to the fantastic leaders attentive for her and showing her lots of new skills, which she loves so much. My little girl consistently comes home with a big smile on her face, and this is such a fantastic feeling knowing she’s cheerful and content.

It was truly important to us that we were able to settle our boys in gently so they were able to build relationships with key team which made for a smooth transition into starting childcare centre. We adore the secure, calm, attentive setting that Orchidale offers. I sense so comfortable and could see my boys cheerful there. I’ve consistently experienced outstanding updates with the manager who is exceptionally approachable, welcoming and understanding of kids’s and parents’ needs. We fully trust the team who are attentive, nurturing and respectful to our boys. The high level of care the team provide and their commitment is so evident. I adore that the kids have the chance to be so creative and learn through kid lead playtime. The setting truly does all the resources and opportunities you could want for your kid! we are truly grateful for Orchidale Childcare centre and appreciate all the team who care for our boys. we highly suggest Orchidale Kids’s Childcare centre for meeting all your kids’s needs, We spent a long time researching/viewing different local nurseries and this one came way above everywhere else for what we were looking for.

Our highlights were yoga, cooking, the forest school and my daughter being supported to overcome her fears when the minibeasts visited which she was highly proud of. The childcare centre is highly nurturing. Kids receive a inviting welcome on arrival. My daughter was new to childcare and though she seemed confident she needed more assistance to adjust than anticipated. Her key worker was highly understanding. I felt all team took the time to know my daughter as an individual and she had a great relationship with all team. Her allergies were also managed brilliantly. Sadly, we had to leave Orchidale for a more local preschool, however, my daughter has adjusted highly easily and I believe this is down to the incredible introduction to childcare centre care that she had at Orchidale. There is so much for the kids to do at Orchidale Kids’s Childcare centre both in free playtime and small group activities; which are innovative and creative.

I have nothing but praise for the childcare centre, the setting and the provision they provide. The team go above and beyond to help my son, and he has a lovely key worker, who, along with the rest of the team has put so much effort into supporting my son with his challenging eating. They have already made so much development. He consistently feels like he is nurtured by the team, and I have never met a member of the team who isn’t giving everything to the kids. They provide some incredible experiences for the kids visiting forest school, chopping down a Christmas tree and pumpkin picking to name but a few. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest the childcare centre to anyone. My youngest will be attending Orchidale as soon as he’s ready despite it being 25 minutes each way for us. The facilities, ethos and team far out way anything that can be offered anywhere else in Norwich. My son attends Orchidale Childcare centre in the House Martins.

We began here during the 2020 pandemic. I can not thank the team enough for their assistance during that difficult time. My daughter enjoys her days at childcare centre and is consistently full of beans when I collect her. My daughter has been attending Orchidale since she was 8 months old.

The outstanding Ofsted rating/report is truly deserved. My son is now in the toddler room, following being in the baby room since a year old. The opportunities for the kids are remarkable, and the range of activities they do is also incredible. All the usual activities you would expect, but opportunities like woodwork (with real tools etc), the forest school, offsite trips and the cooking club make the journey for the kids so much more. I’m consistently excited to hear what my son has done and can see how all the opportunities have helped his development. All the team I’ve experienced have been lovely. Welcoming, approachable, and best of all, exceptional with the kids. The meals are a truly great range of healthy and nutritious options, and the kids sometimes have the opportunity to help make meals or cakes for desserts. Overall, I’m cheerful all-round with this childcare centre, and I can’t fault any areas.
