Olney Nursery

The educators are lovely and so kind, and the lessons and activities with the kids are consistently fun and educational! Olney Nursery has been the most fantastic place to send my daughter. My daughter has made fantastic friendships at the school.

My son loves spending time playing and discovering new things. The owner and childcare centre team there are extremely professional and welcoming. Children sense loved and secure. My son loves baking activities.

My little girl is consistently cheerful when she finishes childcare centre and doesn’t have anything bad to say when she’s been at childcare centre – I’m cheerful with her being there.
She doesn’t get upset now when I leave her now, and that has changed her being dropped off at the gate, which is truly nice as it was upsetting seeing her upset when I left, but now she is cheerful to go off and playtime with her friends which is truly lovely to see.

The team are warm and welcoming and the range of activities are excellent. My daughter attends two different settings and absolutely loves her time at “yellow sunshine school”. It is a very free flowing space. My daughter also loves playing outside and the space is used creatively. I like the plans they have for each week and the fact that there are regular things, such as baking and PE. Despite having been at home for a number of months due to the pandemic, when she did start at Olney Nursery she loved it straight away and we have never had any challenges getting her there. In fact, she’s usually quite disappointed when it’s the weekend!

Every day my son comes home cheerful and is consistently cheerful to go back to childcare centre the next morning. The childcare centre is brilliant and I would definitely suggest to any mother/father. He also comes home with activities, food that he’s baked or a picture he has creatively made. The team never fail to update me on how much progress my son is making etc. and they are consistently cheerful to help and answer questions.

They choose activities which match the kids’s interests and work with them to get them to try things they find hard. The childcare centre is brilliant for encouraging the kids to truly push on with developing their strengths and weaknesses. The extra activities such as French, Music and PE are fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed by the kids. There are also lots of specially planned activities to encourage parental involvement.

The educators are truly kind, attentive and look after each kid’s individual needs. My daughter loves going into the childcare centre. The activities are fun and educational, and my daughter especially loves the cooking activities. I would definitely highly suggest Olney Nursery.

The discovering follows a theme every term and is highly interactive and varied. The manager and her team provide excellent care and facilities. They are sensitive to individual kids’s needs and provide a attentive setting to nurture kids. My daughter loved her time at Olney Nursery and it was an excellent preparation for school. My son currently attends and was enjoying himself so much that we quickly increased the number of sessions he does! A fantastic place and I am grateful for the care and kindness they have shown my kids.

The team are fantastic and provide plenty of engaging and fun activities to help the kids learn and prepare them for school. My youngest daughter absolutely loves Olney Nursery. They are also truly flexible and have accommodated the extra hours that I have requested. It’s a truly cheerful and welcoming place to be, and we never have any tears going in. Some of the weekly activities include cooking, show and tell, PE and music and there are plenty of opportunities to get creative in the art department!
My eldest also went to Olney Nursery and was truly well prepared for school when the time came. She quickly adapted to the structure of the school day because she was used to concepts such as carpet time and fun, age-appropriate bookwork. By the time she left the childcare centre, she knew and could form most of her letters, and she picked up reading and writing truly quickly as a result. Great childcare centre – truly cheerful with it! Would highly suggest.

I have consistently found the team welcoming and warm with the kids and genuinely keen for the kids to learn, grow and explore life at their own pace.
The setting is calm and secure, and I like the structured times as well as the free-flow activities. My two kids have both attended the childcare centre. My kids have consistently been cheerful to go to childcare centre and are full of chat afterwards; the balance of varied activities is excellent for developing curious little learners.
I appreciate the new way of sharing what the kids are doing and keeping parents updated about upcoming events. It works well. We are going to truly miss Olney Nursery.
