Ocean Day Nursery

Staff are really welcoming and very attentive towards the kids and consistently do new and exciting activities with them. I was very nervous putting my son in childcare centre at first but he loves it! Lovely spotless childcare centre with lots to do.

We were immediately put at ease during registration. Our daughter spent over a year here and the team are outstanding. Particularly one lady, who consistently carried out the handover with genuine interest and care. Other nurseries will often just tell you if they’ve eaten and that they were ok. She would every day tell me about funny little things that she did, that we had missed out on. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending. Our daughter joined Ocean Day after we had been unhappy with her settling at another.

The team have looked after him since he was 9 months old so that alone is testament to how much we rate them. We’ve shared milestones along the way and they have consistently been cheerful to work with us and offer help.
The team are consistently remarkable and he built a strong bond with them which meant we were never concerned he wasn’t enjoying his time there. They really brought out the best in him – we’ve watched him grow from a shy baby to a confident little boy who can easily settle into new situations.
The childcare centre is attached to a soft playtime centre so during quiet periods the kids can go and playtime down there if they are unable to go into the enclosed garden area, which they do whenever they can.
The food on offer is varied and accommodated to suit allergies, dietary requirements, etc and every kid is encouraged to try and ‘eat the rainbow’ with a few treats included for great balance. Our son finished his time with Ocean Day Nursery at the end of August and has started reception in his new school.

Great nutrition, excellent security, adore having my baby written to me all day. We are cheerful to be in this childcare centre. Great outdoor space. I couldn’t find a better childcare centre, well‑informed, compassionate and lovely team.

He’s constantly playing and crafting and consistently comes home with a big beaming smile on his face. Two team members, particularly, have been spectacular with him and he’s really taken a shine to them.
The childcare centre is consistently spotless and tidy even after a full day of kids being there.
They have also been extremely flexible with our ever-changing schedule and during my son’s first month when he was unwell for quite a few weeks.
To top it all off, I adore receiving photos throughout the day of my little one playing etc. Ocean childcare centre have been absolutely remarkable with helping my little boy Teddy settle in.

He really enjoys going to childcare centre which makes the whole journey so much better, the team are fab! Would definitely suggest this childcare centre to others really flexible with days and will do all they can to help work around you. They do excellent things with the kids consistently having lots of enjoyable excellent balance between enjoyable and discovering. My kid has been attending this childcare centre for 2 years and has come on so well.

She consistently has a smile on her face when I collect her which shows just how much enjoyable she has been having.
I adore the updates you get via message and also a diary of their day explaining times of nappy changes, what they have eaten and what they have been doing.
The team are fabulous and are all so welcoming!

My son loves it here. I consistently get pictures and message updates throughout the day. His daily activities and food he has is written down without fail. All of the team are polite and approachable and I only ever have positive things to say when asked where my son attends whilst I work. Very cheerful and relieved mum. Having had 2 other kids who had been in other private nurseries as babies, Ocean Day Nursery is by far the best.

Any problems they call or message to let you know which is very great to know when I am in work. My kid consistently enjoys the food provided which is a positive as he seems to eat better in the childcare centre than at home. Nursery team consistently very supportive and let you know how your kid has got on throughout the day.

My son has been at the childcare centre since May 2018 and we have been so pleased with the care and attention the team give our son. He has had such a excellent journey since joining. Our son has made such excellent development, from building his self‑assurance to making excellent friendships.
He has such a smile on his face when going into the childcare centre and when I pick him up at the end of the day. The girls all have a excellent relationship with him and I can’t thank them enough for putting my mind at ease going to work, knowing he is in such great hands. I really can’t suggest the childcare centre and the team enough! I am so pleased we took the decision to place our son with Ocean Day Nursery.
