Nelly's Nursery - Turney Road

We are so cheerful with Nelly’s, our son is incredibly cheerful and has thrived in the inviting and enjoyable setting. The childcare centre is well organised and communicates effectively with parents. Its online platform, Tapestry is also a lovely way for us to view the daily life of our son whilst at Nelly’s. We wish we had sent our older two kids to this childcare centre! Our son has attended Nelly’s Childcare centre – Turney Road for just over a year.

have had a excellent journey for my 2-year-old. They were very supportive during the pandemic and talking to other friends (whose kids are in other nurseries) realised that Nelly’s responses during 2020 have been the best – supporting team and kids families during tough times.

However, I raised a concern about her speech 7 to 8 months ago because she is 3 years old and I could hardly hear what she says and yet she has been attending a reputable Childcare centre. At her best, she was only muttering and this was very disturbing to me; she was unable to say hello and request for something etc. I raised this with my elder sister who passed on my concerns to the school. To my excitement, in the last 6 months, my grand-niece has improved and can now talk for England. Whatever has happened in the last 6 months at the Childcare centre is commendable. She is very cheerful and comes home to recite whatever she learns. I am now a cheerful grand – aunt. Well done Nelly’s Childcare centre Turney Road, keep up the great work. Thanks. My grand-niece has been attending Nelly’s Childcare centre Turney Road since November 2020 and she has been okay.

The care is over and above and I sense my son is in a very secure setting when I leave. The team are attentive and my son adores them. He now runs to the door and can’t wait to get in. He eats really well and learnt from childcare centre to eat a variety of food. You have daily reports and photos provided of developments. The team are all so welcoming, they have welcomed my daughter wonderfully and she is really getting to know them. They contact me to put me at ease if she has a wobble after drop-off and provide updates throughout and at the end of the day. The childcare centre itself is lovely and homely with excellent food and an outside area with lots of educational toys and areas for the kids to explore safely. I am delighted with the childcare centre so far and wouldn’t hesitate to suggest it. My daughter has been attending Nellys Turney Road for a couple of months and is settling in brilliantly due to the outstanding team and facilities.

The reason I choose Nelly’s is the team are incredibly attentive, full of energy and have a real enjoyment in looking after the kids. I have two kids who have attended this childcare centre and they have both made really great friendships with the other kids, enjoyed delicious and healthy meals and were consistently playing and having enjoyable. They make birthdays particularly special because each kid has a birthday tea with cake and a little present. I would thoroughly suggest this childcare centre. I looked around many nurseries before choosing Nelly’s Turney Road.

My baby is gradually growing into a contented, cheerful, appreciative confident, respectful and assertive little girl.
At this point in her life, social skills are crucial, and l can see the footprints as the days go by.
The childcare centre is quite a distance from me. But l am pleased that l choose to do the miles.

Team very attentive and work to clearly set monthly activity plans. A sense of real effort, e.g. asking for a list of words in French (I’m French so we are trying to raise our kid bi-lingually) and the daily photos, care updates and activity logs are outstanding. Very pleased we got on the waiting list early. Kid loves it.

I was very apprehensive as she’s never been to any childcare setting before but she seems to really delight in it and we are very cheerful with it. We get sent lots of lovely photo’s of what the kids have been doing, she happily goes to her key worker in the mornings and she chats excitedly about childcare centre on her days at home. We sense she is very secure and well cared for and making lots of friends. Our daughter now aged 8 months, started ar Nelly’s in January.

Immediately created a bond with my three-year-old daughter and made her sense comfortable and secure. Lots of interesting activities for the kids to do throughout the day – crafts, painting, cooking, sandpit, water etc and all of the other kids also look very cheerful while there too. I’ve picked my daughter up various times and at short notice throughout the day and she is consistently playing and enjoying herself and never upset or looking bored. The team very accommodating and flexible – consistently cheerful to answer questions and share updates on how our daughter’s day has gone. Welcoming and cheerful team.
