April 7, 2017 at 12:00 amMy daughter started Meoncross School in September 2016 after transferring from a different nursery. We chose Meoncross because of the opportunities they offer; small classes, beach school, French, PE and cooking every week. We are really pleased we chose this setting and my daughter loves going here, always asking when her next nursery day is.

April 21, 2017 at 12:00 amMy son loved Meoncross School. They provide a structured and caring learning environment, the teachers are all highly experienced, and class sizes are small so my son received lots of individual attention.
Brilliant start to his education.

August 2, 2018 at 12:00 amMy daughter loves going to nursery. The range of activities is fantastic. She loves ballet, cooking, drama, P.E. – I could go on and on!

December 26, 2018 at 12:00 amSuch a wonderful learning environment with a fun beach theme, that keeps the children connected to their local environment. Child-led learning enables them to develop at pace whilst being nurtured and supported by the fantastic nursery staff. Day trips to beach school, walks in the woods and sport, both P.E. and of the dance, ballet and gymnastic varieties enable physical development as well as providing enhanced mental stimulation. The staff also care deeply about their young charges and this shines through in every interaction with love, dedication, excellence in every field being the norm versus “just put on for OFSTED”. This is an amazing nursery.

January 12, 2021 at 12:00 amMy granddaughter is doing very well at nursery. Since the age of 3, she has been counting to 10 in French, a fact of which she is very proud of. She also loves her ballet and learning new songs. School dinners appear to be enjoyed apart from jelly!

June 21, 2021 at 12:00 amThe nursery is such a healthy, fun filled and positive environment for my little girl. She has flourished since joining Meoncross and the staff have worked diligently to ensure all her individual needs are met. This nursery allows the children to play whilst encouraging boundaries and supporting developmental needs. There is a wide yet structured variety of activities which is what every child needs to thrive whilst feeling safe. Moving my daughter to Meoncross was the best decision we have made for her and I am thrilled at how far she has come.

June 21, 2021 at 12:00 amMeoncross Nursery is a fantastic setting for young children to excel and thrive in. Our daughter has attended from 2 years 9 months and the experiences she has had available to her have been exceptional, from beach school, French to ballet every week. Throughout the pandemic, the staff have gone above and beyond for us and have been incredibly supportive to both our daughter and us. Our daughter loves going to school and really has progressed rapidly in the best setting. It will be such a shame for her to leave but she will remain with all her friends and teachers when moving into Meoncross Reception. I would recommend this nursery without any question.

April 19, 2022 at 12:00 amMeoncross School has been a wonderful environment for my son. Joining at age 3 when we moved to the area, the staff helped him settle in seamlessly. He has never looked back. He has progressed so well and is just simply happy at the school. The staff are kind and caring; the communication is very good. The activities are hugely varied, lots of outdoor play and beach school in the summer is wonderful. The facilities are also excellent.
In summary, we could not be happier with Meoncross and look forward to seeing him grow into Reception.

April 24, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son has been going to Meoncross Nursery since January 2022 and the past term has been great fun! There’s so much information given to parents about children’s development, activities, and feedback I feel fully informed along the way. My son’s language, developmental and social skills are coming on leaps and bounds at the school too. Huge relief it’s the best decision for my son’s future for sure!

April 24, 2022 at 12:00 amThis is an excellent nursery, with great staff, an incredible range of activities provided each day, wonderful food and most importantly my son is incredibly happy there, with a wide network of friends and adults he trusts.

April 24, 2022 at 12:00 amMeoncross is such a wonderful nursery. It is a warming, happy and nurturing environment and the children love it. The teachers are so kind and friendly and the transition to reception is seamless. They have specialist teachers that come in to teach the children and they do a whole range of activities including beach school, ballet, cooking, French and drama. Both my children have had the best time at Meoncross and I would recommend it to anyone.

April 25, 2022 at 12:00 amI couldn’t fault the nursery team! My son settled in very quickly there and enjoys the wide range of activities and the effort the teachers put in. They take the time to get to know each student and have made my son feel very happy and content there.

April 26, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son has just finished his first term at Meoncross and it has been a wonderful experience. The nurturing approach of the nursery team supported him to settle with ease. Their child-led approach to play and learning has meant my son interests have been celebrated and woven in to his nursery day. He thoroughly enjoys the extra specialist classes (singing and music) and we have enjoyed the songs at home too!
The EYFS lead and my son’s key worker are very approachable, kind and friendly as well as being happy to help and my son has developed a lovely attachment to his key worker and other members of staff.
We are very happy that we choose Meoncross and look forward to hearing about all of the adventures to come.

April 26, 2022 at 12:00 amMeoncross go above and beyond expectations and put the child at the centre of everything they do.
My daughter is taught not just academic skills (although she is taught these well too) but also personal/social skills which will stand her in good stead as she progresses.
The staff and school, in general, are approachable and nurturing and they ensure no child is left out of any activity. The activities themselves are varied and there is a good balance of inside and outside play.
My daughter particularly enjoys the specialist provision they have in the form of French and singing lessons. These are very reasonably priced in addition to the free hours.
Finally, the number of school trips and extracurricular activities has been fantastic.

April 29, 2022 at 12:00 amWe moved our son from an alternative nursery when he was eligible at 2 and half years old.
It was one of the best decisions we have made for his learning and social development.
All of his teachers and care workers have taken the time to get to know him and settle him in, and we really like all the activities planned in advance, that he undertakes in a nursery day.
We also like the time dedicated to outside learning activities and school trips, which he will be eligible for as he gets a little bit older.
