December 19, 2022 at 12:00 amOver the moon with Marlborough House School Nursery, the entire community and all the hard work and care that goes into looking after our daughter. Our little girl loves attending and always leaves full of energy and with a big smile on her face, we have really noticed how our daughter has advanced since attending. We always knew Marlborough House School would be a super place to send our children and Marlborough House School have exceeded expectations. There is a great variety of tasks, and as parents, we are always updated with everything from what is being taught to what is being served at lunch. I love how seasonal events are incorporated into teaching: you can really see how sessions are used to teach the children basics whilst staying fun. The outside space is fantastic and has lots of space and equipment for children to play and share. The staff are incredibly caring and nurturing and if we have ever needed to talk to them then we have always been able to. We are so happy and more importantly, so is our daughter.

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amWe cannot fault Marlborough House nursery. We drop our son there every day knowing he is in the very best hands with brilliant teachers. It is a very happy, caring and loving environment. The children are exposed to a huge variety of indoor and outdoor activities and our son loves the interactions that he has with the older children in the school.

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amWe are really happy with Marlborough House School Nursery. All the staff are extremely kind, patient and dedicated. Our little one is very happy to bounce in there and loves the range of activities and topics they explore together. Big plus from our point of view is how the children get to use the wider school facilities (sports halls, astroturf, forest school) and are gently encouraged to feel a part of school life such as lunch with reception, taking part in nativity with older children etc. This means our child is already talking excitedly about moving up the school and will hopefully feel very positive about the step up to reception when it happens. The staff are wonderful at recognizing the individual child’s needs, meeting them where they are at whilst gently encouraging independence. This has made our child feel more confident and empowered.

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amMarlborough House School Nursery is an amazing nursery! My son started in September 2022 and he absolutely loves it, so much so that he asked me if he could go an extra day this term. The staff are incredible, kind and caring, and the activities that the children get to do are so innovative, varied and no day is the same! I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this nursery and my daughter is extremely excited to start this coming September!

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amFantastic nursery, that lets the children be children in a wonderful environment, the classroom is full of toys and educational bits. The garden is lovely with animals and space for the children to be imaginative as children should be. Teachers are all caring and wonderful!

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amMarlborough House School Nursery is the most wonderful environment a parent could wish for. The children are encouraged to be: independent yet part of the family, strong yet compassionate, free yet focused and task-driven yet imaginative. Every child is nurtured, encouraged and loved. Every child can be whoever they want to be without fear of criticism or failure. The indoor and outdoor space is solely child-focused, the rotation of activities and role-play areas ensures that there is something for every child to engage with. Plus, of course, the addition of their beloved animal friends. Lunch in the main dining hall, PE, music, Spanish, ballet, forest school, cooking need I go on? As parents you feel completely involved in your child’s learning journey, no question is too silly. The staff never fail to greet you with a smile – come rain, shine or toddler germs! Marlborough House School Nursery is the sort of foundation every parent dreams of their child having and we are so lucky to be a part of it.

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amAmazing. We had a list of nurseries to visit before deciding. But just one visit to Marlborough House School Nursery was all we needed, we knew instantly this was where our son should be (and looked nowhere else). The nursery teachers and staff are kind, caring and brilliant in every way and most importantly he loves them, his first time nursery wobbles did not last long and my wobbles were put at ease with constant updates the first few weeks straight from the teachers. Admin has been a breeze, with easy and instant communication. No matter how insignificant. Great daily photo updates on Instagram. The facilities are incredible with Forest School and P.E being a highlight. And lastly ‘cake’, there always seems to be cake = very happy boy!

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amA magical place where my little girl was cared for and loved as if she were in a family. She will keep wonderful memories and has learned to be independent and self-confident. The Forest school experience was extraordinary, as was the contact with nature and seeing the birth of small animals. She was always happy to go and smiling at pickup time.

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amI’m so pleased to be able to write a review about Marlborough House School Nursery and give them the praise they daily earn. The staff actively go out of their way to nurture, engage and encourage each child every day, they have such a deep knowledge of each little person under their care it’s a wonder to behold. I have seen both my boys blossom under their care and have witnessed how they are encouraged to value and use their own voice from day one. Their days are so full of fun it’s easy to miss how crammed with learning they are! We couldn’t be happier with our choice of nursery or school.

April 25, 2023 at 12:00 amWe love it here, such a safe and caring environment. The children including my own thrive in the warmth. There is forest school, small animals to take care of and great outdoor play area. The teachers treat the children as individuals and support them in their growing path.

April 25, 2023 at 12:00 amOur son attended Marlborough House School Nursery for two years, prior to that we enjoyed the weekly ‘toddler sessions’ which were run at the nursery. During the time he was there our little boy learned to talk, share and engage with his peers. He grew in confidence, ability and independence. As nursery spans three year groups, our son has friends throughout nursery and pre-prep. The staff welcomed us as a family and involved us at every stage. Nursery children are given the opportunity to engage with children in reception at lunch and on nature walks, allowing them to learn from older children who they can identify with. They are taught music and sports by specialist teachers. Every day they can engage with nature and the outdoors. Each day they learn through play in their own environment with a huge range of resources. The nursery staff are the kindest, most patient and dedicated team you could possibly wish for you child. We couldn’t have asked any more for our son.

April 25, 2023 at 12:00 amWe are so pleased with Marlborough House School Nursery. The level of care and attention the staff have shown my son since joining in January at 2.5 years old has been amazing. Without prompt he asks to go to nursery and is happy and full of excitement once he knows it is a nursery day! The staff are extremely caring and their passion for ensuring children have a fun start to their early years of learning is evident in everything they do and offer (introducing foreign languages, nature walks, caring for animals). In only four months I can see signs of my son starting to become more inquisitive and attentive. We are all excited to see this continue and to watch the pleasure he clearly experiences from attending Marlborough House School Nursery.

April 25, 2023 at 12:00 amThe staff at Marlborough House School Nursery are very nurturing and have really shown individualised care and attention to our daughter. Our daughter, though apprehensive at first, now runs into nursery, full of excitement. The activities are varied and engaging. Marlborough House School is a really lovely environment for toddlers/preschoolers and we wouldn’t consider placing our daughter anywhere else.

April 25, 2023 at 12:00 amThe staff are so warm and nurturing and both of my children instantly felt at home and safe. The setting is very idyllic with its own walled garden, climbing frame, mud kitchen, Wendy house and animals!
Whilst the nursery is a separate setting from the main school, the children still feel connected, be it through sharing nature walks and nativity performances with Reception or via the older Prep children coming to read to them; this allows them to still feel part of the Marlborough House community but allows them to develop without feeling pushed or intimidated.
The children all progress so impressively through a wonderful “learning through play” approach from the nursery staff, as well as French, music and PE lessons from specialist teachers and weekly Forest School sessions.
I’m so happy my children had this wonderful start to school life!

April 25, 2023 at 12:00 amOur two girls (3 years apart) loved every minute of their time at Marlborough House School Nursery. It’s hard to imagine a more nurturing and fun-filled environment. And what a blissfully smooth introduction to school life.

April 25, 2023 at 12:00 amMarlborough House School Nursery is such a special place. The setting is magical and the staff take care of the children with patience and compassion. One of the reasons we chose this nursery was for the amazing outdoor opportunities. The children spend so much time outside exploring nature, either at forest school or in their garden. The staff support their children with their phonics and numbers and my child is growing in confidence for starting school. I truly believe Marlborough House School is giving my son the best start in life. I couldn’t recommend it more.

May 4, 2023 at 12:00 amOur daughter had the most wonderful time at this nurturing and fabulous nursery. The friendly and family-like ethos ensured that it felt like a home from home that our daughter rarely wanted to leave! She was happy and well looked after, whilst having great fun and adventures.
