September 9, 2024 at 2:20 pmThe garden is lovely with animals and space for the kids to be imaginative as kids should be. Educators are all attentive and fantastic! Remarkable childcare centre, that lets the kids be kids in a fantastic setting, the classroom is full of toys and educational bits.

But just one visit to Marlborough House School Childcare centre was all we needed, we knew instantly this was where our son should be (and looked nowhere else). The childcare centre educators and team are compassionate, attentive and exceptional in every way and most importantly he loves them, his first time childcare centre wobbles did not last long and my wobbles were put at ease with constant updates the first few weeks straight from the educators. Admin has been a breeze, with easy and instant updates. No matter how insignificant. Excellent daily photo updates on Instagram. The facilities are incredible with Forest School and P.E being a highlight. And lastly ‘cake’, there consistently seems to be cake = very cheerful boy! Incredible.

December 3, 2024 at 6:33 pmOur daughter, though apprehensive at first, now runs into childcare centre, full of excitement. The activities are varied and engaging. Marlborough House School is a really lovely setting for toddlers/preschoolers and we wouldn’t consider placing our daughter anywhere else. The team at Marlborough House School Childcare centre are very nurturing and have really shown individualised care and attention to our daughter.

The Forest school journey was extraordinary, as was the contact with nature and seeing the birth of small animals. She was consistently cheerful to go and smiling at pickup time. A magical place where my little girl was cared for and loved as if she were in a family.

One of the reasons we chose this childcare centre was for the incredible outdoor opportunities. The kids spend so much time outside exploring nature, either at forest school or in their garden. The team assistance their kids with their phonics and numbers and my kid is growing in self‑assurance for starting school. I truly believe Marlborough House School is giving my son the best start in life. I couldn’t suggest it more. Marlborough House School Childcare centre is such a special place.

January 18, 2025 at 7:23 pmThe team actively go out of their way to nurture, engage and encourage each kid every day, they have such a deep knowledge of each little person under their care it’s a wonder to behold. I have seen both my boys blossom under their care and have witnessed how they are encouraged to value and use their own voice from day one. Their days are so full of enjoyable it’s easy to miss how crammed with discovering they are! We couldn’t be happier with our choice of childcare centre or school. I’m so pleased to be able to write a review about Marlborough House School Childcare centre and give them the praise they daily earn.

February 18, 2025 at 7:26 pmDuring the time he was there our little boy learned to talk, share and engage with his peers. He grew in self‑assurance, ability and independence. As childcare centre spans three year groups, our son has friends throughout childcare centre and pre-prep. The team welcomed us as a family and involved us at every stage. Childcare centre kids are given the opportunity to engage with kids in reception at lunch and on nature walks, allowing them to learn from older kids who they can identify with. They are taught music and sports by specialist educators. Every day they can engage with nature and the outdoors. Each day they learn through playtime in their own setting with a huge range of resources. The childcare centre team are the kindest, most patient and dedicated team you could possibly wish for you kid. We couldn’t have asked any more for our son. Our son attended Marlborough House School Childcare centre for two years, prior to that we enjoyed the weekly ‘toddler sessions’ which were run at the childcare centre.

The educators treat the kids as individuals and assistance them in their growing path. We adore it here, such a secure and attentive setting.

The team are incredible, compassionate and attentive, and the activities that the kids get to do are so innovative, varied and no day is the same! I wouldn’t hesitate to highly suggest this childcare centre and my daughter is extremely excited to start this coming September! Marlborough House School Childcare centre is an incredible childcare centre!

April 2, 2025 at 1:45 pmThe level of care and attention the team have shown my son since joining in January at 2.5 years old has been incredible. Without prompt he asks to go to childcare centre and is cheerful and full of excitement once he knows it is a childcare centre day! The team are extremely attentive and their passion for ensuring kids have a enjoyable start to their early years of discovering is evident in everything they do and offer (introducing foreign languages, nature walks, attentive for animals). In only four months I can see signs of my son starting to become more inquisitive and attentive. We are all excited to see this continue and to watch the pleasure he clearly experiences from attending Marlborough House School Childcare centre. We are so pleased with Marlborough House School Childcare centre.

April 13, 2025 at 9:02 pmOur little girl loves attending and consistently leaves full of energy and with a big smile on her face, we have really noticed how our daughter has advanced since attending. We consistently knew Marlborough House School would be a super place to send our kids and Marlborough House School have exceeded expectations. There is a excellent variety of tasks, and as parents, we are consistently updated with everything from what is being taught to what is being served at lunch. I adore how seasonal events are incorporated into teaching: you can really see how sessions are used to teach the kids basics whilst staying enjoyable. The outside space is remarkable and has lots of space and equipment for kids to playtime and share. The team are incredibly attentive and nurturing and if we have ever needed to talk to them then we have consistently been able to. We are so cheerful and more importantly, so is our daughter. Over the moon with Marlborough House School Childcare centre, the entire community and all the hard work and care that goes into looking after our daughter.

May 7, 2025 at 3:30 amAll the team are extremely compassionate, patient and dedicated. Our little one is very cheerful to bounce in there and loves the range of activities and topics they explore together. Big plus from our point of view is how the kids get to use the wider school facilities (sports halls, astroturf, forest school) and are gently encouraged to sense a part of school life such as lunch with reception, taking part in nativity with older kids etc. This means our kid is already talking excitedly about moving up the school and will hopefully sense very positive about the step up to reception when it happens. The team are fantastic at recognizing the individual kid’s needs, meeting them where they are at whilst gently encouraging independence. This has made our kid sense more confident and empowered. We are really cheerful with Marlborough House School Childcare centre.

Every kid is nurtured, encouraged and loved. Every kid can be whoever they want to be without fear of criticism or failure. The indoor and outdoor space is solely kid-focused, the rotation of activities and role-playtime areas ensures that there is something for every kid to engage with. Plus, of course, the addition of their beloved animal friends. Lunch in the main dining hall, PE, music, Spanish, ballet, forest school, cooking need I go on? As parents you sense completely involved in your kid’s discovering journey, no question is too silly. The team never fail to greet you with a smile – come rain, shine or toddler germs! Marlborough House School Childcare centre is the sort of foundation every parent dreams of their kid having and we are so lucky to be a part of it. Marlborough House School Childcare centre is the most fantastic setting a parent could wish for.

The kids are exposed to a huge variety of indoor and outdoor activities and our son loves the interactions that he has with the older kids in the school. We cannot fault Marlborough House childcare centre.

She was cheerful and well looked after, whilst having excellent enjoyable and adventures. Our daughter had the most fantastic time at this nurturing and fabulous childcare centre.

July 8, 2025 at 1:00 amThe setting is very idyllic with its own walled garden, climbing frame, mud kitchen, Wendy house and animals!
Whilst the childcare centre is a separate setting from the main school, the kids still sense connected, be it through sharing nature walks and nativity performances with Reception or via the older Prep kids coming to read to them; this allows them to still sense part of the Marlborough House community but allows them to develop without feeling pushed or intimidated.
The kids all development so impressively through a fantastic “discovering through playtime” approach from the childcare centre team, as well as French, music and PE lessons from specialist educators and weekly Forest School sessions.
I’m so cheerful my kids had this fantastic start to school life! The team are so inviting and nurturing and both of my kids instantly felt at home and secure.
