VisitingThe Maria Montessori School welcomes guests and visitors to observe the classroom environment with the children present and see how the children and teachers engage in their regular daily routine. Observations are a wonderful way for parents to visit the school setting and see how a mixed-age classroom supports learning. To book an observation contact the nursery.

December 18, 2024 at 11:47 pmThe balance between intellectual and emotional development is well-judged. Teachers and assistance team are compassionate and attentive with a firm grounding in the Montessori method. The kids are exceptionally well-behaved and courteous and grow substantially in self‑assurance during their time at the school. We will not hesitate to seek a place for our second kid at the school after our first kid had such a positive journey there. Very warmly recommended. This is a fantastic school, under outstanding new leadership.

January 14, 2025 at 9:53 pmMy son came out knowing all of the flags of the world; while my daughter had an incredible grasp of geometry. The joy of Montessori is that their teacher follows each kid’s interest and allows them to develop their concentration span through getting lost in the discovering that inspires them most. Now that my daughter is in secondary school the maths that she learned in the kids’s house through physically assembling a binomial or trinomial square is incredibly easy for her on paper. She has physically experienced algebra from a very young age and intuitively knows it. I highly suggest Abbey Road Children’s House. Both of my kids went here from age 2.5 years to 6 years and followed very different educational journeys.

June 1, 2025 at 2:12 pmOur 3-year-old son started a year ago and I cannot suggest it enough. Working with the real Maria Montessori method, our son quickly became independent and self-confident, genuinely interested in the world and pretty soon developed a excellent ability to focus on things. The most nurturing place for the development of a kid.
