September 11, 2024 at 9:14 amThe space and the facilities are outstanding, with lots of different rooms and activities (music room, art room, kids’ kitchen, and several playtime rooms). There’s also the adjacent club and cafe, which are excellent. The kids are extremely cheerful with their educators and appear to be discovering a lot at every stage of their development. The educators are quite interactive with the parents, often sending several updates with pictures during the day through the app. They serve outstanding food and are compassionate and engaging with the kids. Strongest recommendation from us. Maggie & Rose Islington is a fantastic childcare centre with welcoming, engaging team.

October 5, 2024 at 6:10 amThe team at Maggie & Rose are remarkable, attentive and really assistance the kids. Our daughter has built great friendships with the kids and team. Daily activities are communicated via the app and great updates are consistently provided at pick-up. The food could be better, but regular fruit snacks throughout the day are offered. I really can’t stress how excellent the team are. They have a small outside space and they utilise the parks and green areas locally regularly. Our daughter has been in Maggie & Rose since 2021, she started in the baby room and she is now completing preschool.

The facilities are stellar, and the weekly menu is delightful. The childcare centre manager is just lovely and answers any questions promptly. I can’t fault anything! Maggie & Rose is a remarkable childcare centre.

October 14, 2024 at 1:57 pmWe’ve been very cheerful with all aspects of this childcare centre, from the layout of the childcare centre to the food they’re fed, which seems very nutritious. The outdoor space is small, however, the kids get taken to the park (now with covid restrictions finally being lifted), which I sense makes up for the small outdoor area. The team are fabulous. They go out of their way for the kids and seem to truly care about them. I’ve been very impressed with their updates with me. My daughter absolutely loves coming here each week. We’ve been sending our daughter here since they first opened in February.

November 26, 2024 at 7:00 amThis is a cheerful and stimulating setting with lovely and expert team. The team were really supportive and patient during our settlement which wasn’t easy. Our son now is so cheerful and content and we have seen his self‑assurance grow since he started at childcare centre. He looks forward to going every morning to the childcare centre and even asks to go on weekends. I would highly suggest Maggie & Rose, for so many reasons.

March 18, 2025 at 9:03 pmI cannot fault the childcare centre in any way, from their updates with parents, their kindness and enthusiasm with the kids, their friendliness, the activities and lessons they do with the kids and even their ability to keep kids entertained via Zoom during lockdown were all just exceptional.
This was my first taste of a childcare centre and I was extremely anxious to send my son to one at all. He was just over 2 when he started and he was cheerful from his first settling in session. The app which keeps the parents up to date in almost real-time, is remarkable and something I am going to miss at his now new childcare centre. I know exactly what he’s eaten and how much, any injuries, how many nappy changes and we get cute photos to update us on what he’s discovering.
Maggie & Rose will be very much missed by us. My son attended Maggie & Rose Islington Childcare centre from when it opened until the end of August 2020, only moving because we moved out of London.

We were understandably nervous about her returning after the lockdown break, but the measures put in place have been hugely reassuring and I sense confident that she’s in excellent hands. All members of team are genuinely lovely, attentive and it’s been a pleasure to get to know them. My daughter has really thrived in the time she’s been at Maggie & Rose and it’s been a delight to see her grow in skills and self‑assurance. Updates from the team is consistently excellent and we’ve been well supported through tricky periods like nap transitions, potty training and a complicated house move. We have recently moved out of Islington but are keeping my daughter at Maggie & Rose and commuting in every morning – which shows how excellent it is! This is a fantastic childcare centre, with a huge range of activities for little ones and team members who really care about their emotional and intellectual development.
