The staff are friendly, kind, responsive and professional and always open and happy to hear from us if we have any particular worries. The range of activities is fantastic and updated regularly and the links with the school are great.

October 7, 2020 at 12:00 amThis is a great preschool with fantastic staff. My daughter went there for two years before starting school and now my son has just started. The staff always go above and beyond such as dealing with anxiety, sleep problems, speech delay, toilet training, etc. but most importantly ensuring the children have a fun session each time they are there. My children both may have been shy about going in each day but I know that they are being well looked after. It is lovely to see the smiles on their faces when picking them up and hearing about the fun things they have done.

My daughter is about to start and my son already attends, so I have no doubt she will love every minute of it. My son always comes out smiling and tells me how much he’s done! They are an amazing team.

February 2, 2021 at 12:00 amThe current staff at pre-school are doing an amazing job. My son is safe, happy and loves the activities on offer. When he comes home he loves teaching us new songs that he has learned and always has something to tell us about his day.
I feel his learning is supported really well and done in a way that is fun (as it should be).

March 3, 2022 at 12:00 amThe current staff team is excellent – it’s clear that they care a lot about the children and about providing a fun and engaging learning environment. Communication is very good and the Family updates are highly appreciated. The setting used to come across as somewhat disorganised and with a lack of clear routine but in the last couple of years has notably improved in all respects. Our child is always happy to go and is forming a strong bond with the staff and other children.

The staff are caring and creative in the activities they plan with the children. The children get to celebrate different festivals and learn about different cultures which we really value. It’s a great first step towards being ready for school.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

March 7, 2022 at 12:00 amOur daughter started pre-school in September 2021, she also loves her Mondays there.
The staff are just wonderful, we are so grateful she got a space there.
She comes skipping out every week with a huge smile on her face and full of excitement and can’t wait to fill me in with how great her day was.
They do so much with the children and the snacks they provide are amazing, from fresh green smoothies to fresh fruit and more.
It is beautifully managed by a lovely team of people, who are always greeted with care and smiles.
I couldn’t recommend this lovely little fun-loving pre-school enough.

March 7, 2022 at 12:00 amThe staff are amazing and my son just loves to go to preschool. As we’ve had not as good as experience before it was a bit scary for us to change but it’s been the best decision ever!
The staff meet and greet all the parents and children in the mornings and afternoon and also always inform you what they’ve done and if it’s been a good day.
A lovely preschool with the loving and caring staff!

She is a different child and thriving thanks to the amazing staff here.
I couldn’t be happier and we will both really miss it when she starts school.

Although it took her a week to settle in, she now loves going and asks to go on the days she isn’t booked in for.

The staff organise a lot of fun activities, such as a Rio Carnival, Lunar New Year, and pancake day events, along with dancing and sports. My daughter has made friends and grown in confidence.

February 10, 2023 at 12:00 amGenerally, I am happy with the preschool as I can see my child is happy and comfortable. Also, I can see that preschool is really trying to catch up with any activities nationwide and would like to involve children and their parents in them, like letting us know about the bird-watching event, poetry competition, providing sports lessons, etc.
The only thing that I can add is that I wish there were two different parts/rooms in preschool in which the real preschoolers (nearly 4 and 4-year-olds) be there with extra activities regarding starting their reception. And also I don’t like the wait and queuing!

At the moment he is supported by the preschool staff and they are great and kind to him making sure his needs are met. There are resources in the school which allow him to enjoy the time spent there.

February 13, 2023 at 12:00 amMy eldest (3 years old) recently started at Longstanton Preschool after 2 years in a nursery. I was nervous about moving her but she’s transitioned so well, and a lot of this is due to the excellent staff. In her first few weeks, she’s had loads of fun, and even made a little pizza to bring home!

I’m always kept informed and receive regular emails about information to join groups and or activities etc. with other parents. My son is very happy and walks in by himself in the morning with a big smile on his face. At pick-up time he also talks non stop telling me all they have done.
