October 12, 2020 at 12:00 amWe are very pleased with the decision we made to send our son to Little Rascals Pre-Prep, and I would always recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery for their child. The management and staff have always been extremely friendly, kind, caring and supportive, always greeting us with a smile. It feels like you are leaving your child with family and we always enjoy to hear the fun stories of the day from our son when he gets home! Our son has developed a lot in the time he has been with Little Rascals, and we have no doubts that a big part of that is the care and attention he is given by the staff and the fun but educational activities they conduct. It is always helpful to hear their informative feedback on our son at the end of the day. From a personal perspective, working in the City, the location of Little Rascals Pre-Prep being so close to the train station is fantastic. Thank you to all the staff and management for taking such great care of our son!

Great outdoor space, the children go out in the garden every day. Good food menu too. Lots to do there – all the rooms are well set up for play, and there’s always lots of fun activities for them too!

October 16, 2020 at 12:00 amOn the occasions I’ve picked up my granddaughter, I have found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. My granddaughter loves it here, and is always kept entertained by the various activities. Would highly recommend this childcare setting.

The manager and the team are friendly, happy and approachable with any enquiries you may have, and quick to answer them. The way they have handled covid has been incredibly reassuring. My daughter comes away from nursery happy, full of stories and exhausted from such a fun day! Thank you for making the process easy and stress-free for me to return to work knowing my child is safe with you.

March 12, 2021 at 12:00 amAt first, we were not sure which pre-prep to send our little boy too and now looking back it was our best decision choosing Little Rascals and I cannot recommend them enough to everyone.
The manager and the staff are very approachable and friendly. As a young team, they work hard and do everything possible for the learning and development of the children. We have seen our little boy develop so much over years and all credit to the Little Rascals team – thank you!

October 1, 2021 at 12:00 amOur boy has really thrived at Little Rascals, having been there for nearly 3 years now. The staff are friendly and know the children well, the safeguarding system works well and the facilities seem good. Unlike some nurseries I’ve heard about, the menu seems to be balanced and varied. The location (next to the train station, in the centre of town) and the slightly longer than usual hours are added bonuses.
We feel the staff have coped really well during the lockdown under trying circumstances and hugely appreciative of the hard work the whole teams puts in to make sure our son and his friends stay safe, healthy and engaged.

August 1, 2022 at 12:00 amI would not recommend this nursery to anyone. My son attended Little Rascals in 2021 after we moved into the area but he was so unhappy there that we withdrew him after a few months. At his previous nursery, he skipped into the door happily, as he does at his current one. Not so at Little Rascals. Every day he asked not to go there. We never really got to the bottom of what the problem was as he would not tell us (despite being an open and chatty child) but we suspect there was some bullying or at least exclusionary behaviour from the other children.
His key person was very nice but other staff were unimpressive, especially those in management. The settling-in process was incredibly disorganised – I was invited in on a day when all the children there were leaving to go to school, his key person wasn’t there, and all staff who were there had resigned and would not be there when he started. Very unsettling.
This nursery seems glossy on the surface but the substance doesn’t match.

He developed independence during his time in the younger pre-prep room and his move to the older pre-prep has helped prepare him for school; by learning through play. The team know each child very well and the staff dote on them. He has made friends and is happy. I am reassured to go about my day knowing he is well looked after and safe.

August 14, 2022 at 12:00 amOur little girl has loved Little Rascals Pre-Prep, from starting at one year right through to moving onto school. The staff are really friendly, fun and caring and form close bonds with the kids. Interesting activities are planned all the time and every day my daughter comes home telling me about something new she has learnt. I think Little Rascals has done a great job in ensuring she is ready for school. She loves the food and the menu is really varied. My daughter goes in every day happy and when I collect her she always wants to stay longer to keep playing – so really can’t ask for more than that.

November 15, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter loved her time at pre-prep. She was always excited to go to nursery. She bought many art creations home to put on the fridge. She left to go to big school very well prepared thanks to pre-prep.

November 15, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter started at Little Rascals Pre-Prep this September. I received daily information on what she has been doing from the lovely staff each day, which I found very helpful as I can talk to her about her day. She is so excited to go to nursery each day, she even asks on Saturday if is it a nursery day.
The staff and management are very kind and supportive when settling my daughter into the nursery. They have a lovely outdoor space and large classrooms.

She enjoys the learning activities and loves the outdoor space in which they spend lots of time. She always comes home with a smile on her face and talks about her friends and the activities she did. The staff are always friendly and helpful and really care about the children. The location and hours have been useful too.

The staff are caring and provide an excellent range of activities for all the children. My son has made some great friends and we have seen his confidence grow during his time here. The staff are always supportive, thoughtful and responsive to any questions you have as a parent. I feel his time at Little Rascals has really helped him in his early years and is setting him up well for school.

April 10, 2023 at 12:00 amWe have only been at Little Rascals since January but we are so happy with how our son has settled in. The staff are all incredibly warm and caring. They are positive and genuinely enjoy teaching the children.
There is a relaxing feel with lovely, thoughtful activities and an excellent garden which our son really enjoys. Staff are always happy to discuss things at drop off and pick up and the children all seem happy, kind and friendly. We are very happy with our choice of preschool!

He has an amazing outside space to explore, so many daily creative and educational projects, and a nice healthy dose of messy play. He is well fed, happy and confident. Staff are attentive and kind, I really could not ask for more.
