Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school, Swindon

We started during the first lockdown, so did not get the usual settling in days (completely understandable). Despite not having the usual slow introduction, our little girl fitted right in, and from the beginning, she barely gave us a backwards glance going in, thanks to the welcoming attitude of the staff. She has come on leaps and bounds, sometimes surprising us with new things she has learnt. They keep us regularly updated on the app. They are always happy to answer questions and give us tips. They have varied activities each day but will centre activities around the interests of the children. We love how they are encouraging the children from a young age to consider the environment such as teaching them about rubbish and recycling.

Our daughter is 32 months old and started going to the little pioneers in 6 months ago. She absolutely loves going there and always comes back home happy and full of new experiences and things she learned. Her class has its own garden and a perfect reading corner. Her teachers are the kindest and most caring people, giving her a cuddle whenever she needs one!

Our daughter has been going here for over a year now. She started in the baby room and has since moved to the next one up. She really enjoys going and it made a really positive impact on her, we can see how she has developed and gained confidence throughout her journey here. The staff have been really helpful and show a really positive attitude to children and parents. They always seem to have time to tell you what the kids have been up to. Our daughter has some allergies and these were taken into account and we haven’t had any issues or worries, the food menu always seems varied. We were worried that she might not sleep in a new location but if anything she goes to sleep better there than at home. She’s recently started potty training and the staff have really gone above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and relaxed. Communication is via the Parent Zone app which isn’t perfect but seems to do the job. Would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Absolutely brilliant nursery. The preschool room helped prepare our oldest to recently start school. The staff are wonderful. We have never had any concerns and felt comfortable from the first day that our children were going to be safe and happy. Would really recommend the nursery and preschool

My son started when he was 2 years old and left just a couple of weeks ago. Our experience there was amazing! The staff were always welcoming and friendly and my son was well looked after. He could never wait to get there and never wanted to leave, we will both truly miss the setting and all the staff and are truly thankful for everything.

Great staff, my son is very happy there. Once he knows that he will go to the nursery, you can see how much he likes it. It is now 2 years he is with them, and I am so grateful for the nursery staff that they do all their best.

My Daughter has attended the nursery since the baby room and I have been extremely happy with the care she receives. The staff are always helpful and willing to discuss and suggest solutions to any concern I have about her development. She has thrived in the nursery and always comes home so happy. I’ll be very sad when we finally have to say goodbye in September as she moves to school.

The nursery staff are fantastic and always approachable to discuss matters openly, observing a confidential approach and great sensitivity. They are caring and always have time to listen to any concerns in regard to children. My child currently attends and it is amazing care and great determination shown by the staff to develop young children with a positive attitude.

I would recommend since my child has been attending numbers have improved and language skills. And the confidence in my child has also grown. Learning needs are always observed in a sensitive manner and staff communication and high levels of service are given. Each child I see is treated with respect, care and kindness.

Standards of practice within and are very high and the standards are maintained at a high level. My child is always happy to be at the nursery and there are lots of activities that are available and is always differing each time visiting. It is clean tidy and presentable – 5 stars – very happy.

Very pleased with my choice of nursery. Staff is very professional and tried hard for the children. They’re very sensitive to parents wishes and instructions and I got on very well with all of them. My daughter really enjoys her nursery.

Our 15 month old daughter has been at Little Pioneers Swindon for just 2 months but has already come on leaps and bounds. We’ve noticed her confidence develop, she’s become more sociable, and skills like her self feeding have improved. There’s a marked difference, and we put a lot of it down to the positive, happy and nurturing environment at the nursery. There was a moment today when I watched her walk in and go straight for a cuddle with her key worker, and I just thought ‘she’s so happy here’. It was wonderful to know as her mum, and it prompted me to take the time to write this review. Thank you – to all the staff who care for our little girl with both professionalism, but also genuine warmth. We are so grateful.
