February 6, 2017 at 12:00 amMy little girl really enjoys going to Little Elms in Lee and her baby brother is already on the waiting list. Throughout from her first days in the baby room, through to her joining the pre-school class, her respective key person always made an effort to connect with her and made her feel safe and well looked after. I have recommended the nursery already to several friends and acquaintances.
Recently, people have left the entrance gate open, so I would have to say the safeguarding needs definite improvement.

February 6, 2017 at 12:00 amI’d like to thank all members of staff who do such an important job looking after our children, providing a happy, safe and creative environment.
Every morning we are greeted by smiles and the bond my son has developed with his key worker is amazing. The staff work so hard and I really appreciate the effort that goes into the everyday. You are all amazing – please carry on smiling and caring!

February 9, 2017 at 12:00 amMy son is currently in ‘Robin’s Room’ at Little Elms. I’m continually impressed by the standard of care he receives, as well as the professionalism, enthusiasm and communication of the nursery workers. He shares an excellent relationship with his keyworker, who is sensitive to his needs and provides appropriate goals and activities to enhance his development. As a parent, I always receive a warm welcome and regular updates about my son’s progress and feel reassured that he is being well cared for. Nursery facilities including outside space have recently undergone some improvements and new initiatives including online progress reports and monthly newsletters enable more effective communication with parents. I would highly recommend Little Elms to other parents and will be sending my daughter here next year.

February 20, 2017 at 12:00 amI was apprehensive taking my 7-month-old to nursery at such a young age but the staff have done their utmost to provide all the care my young daughter needs. She only attends one day a week at present but whilst she’s there she’s thoroughly entertained and stimulated.

September 19, 2019 at 12:00 amMy son started the nursery at seven months old and we were apprehensive starting him young but actually the staff in the Bluebirds have been amazing at reassuring us and making sure our little one is cared for. Putting our son in nursery was a great decision as I can see how much he has grown and even compared to our friends’ babies, who don’t go to nursery, there is a difference in his social skills. The nursery has three gardens which is perfect as this is something we looked for in a nursery, it’s important to us that our son has the opportunity to get fresh air and play outdoors.

September 25, 2019 at 12:00 amWith my older boy, now in school, I worried about not spending enough time with him as he was in nursery 5 full days a week. He thrived and now knowing the benefits a good nursery can bring to a child, we didn’t give it a second thought with our 2nd.
Our baby just loves Little Elms, as do we. He settled in really well and gets excited when he comes to the front door. He is so well looked after. A few times when tired at the end of the day, I found him being held by a carer on a rocking chair or snuggled up with them sitting on the floor. It is so comforting to know he is truly cared for when we’re at work.
The nursery have lots of outdoor space, but still, the carers take them on trips to the park or the supermarket very frequently.
They eat freshly made healthy food from a varied menu. Sometimes, as a picnic in the garden if the weather allows!
It’s a little highlight of my day to drop my boy off and collect him as I see how happy he is at Little Elms – can’t recommend it enough.

January 29, 2020 at 12:00 amWhat a beautiful welcoming nursery. As soon as my little one joined the baby room I knew he was in safe hands. The staff are very informative and always very happy. He is now in the toddler room and I couldn’t be happier with his development. The nursery has three large outdoor areas for the little ones to explore. I couldn’t recommend enough!

February 7, 2020 at 12:00 amWe’ve had our boys go to Little Elms in Greenwich then Lee. They were both excellent. We were particularly happy with the quality of the staff and the abundant energy they gave to the kids. The space is well organised and plentiful. Great feeling, great vibes, they are both highly recommended.

February 7, 2020 at 12:00 amBoth my sons have attended Little Elms Daycare, my youngest is in his final year there. We have all been very happy with the care they have received there. The children have a large amount of indoor and outdoor space to play in, lots of activity corners to explore and Little Elms has always been very good at organising visiting teachers like ceramics or computer skills. My boys made great friends there, in a very inclusive and stimulating environment and my eldest was raring to go for his first year at school, thanks to Little Elms’ preschool. Thank you to all at Little Elms.

December 15, 2021 at 12:00 amLittle Elms offers a brilliant learning space for children to thrive in which is supplemented by the support of fantastic staff throughout the various rooms. Our daughter loves attending and the learning gains she has made in the 2.5 years are exceptional.
Outside space for all rooms is great and offers a good variety of fun and educational-related activities.
Food is nutritious, interesting and again, offers good diversity in terms of what’s on offer.
Big shout out to the Manager and the Deputy Manager and the other members of the management team for guiding the nursery through the pandemic. Communications throughout have been clear, concise and they’ve been transparent in their COVID-19 planning and measures since the start.

December 15, 2021 at 12:00 amOur two year old daughter started at Little Elms Lee in the Robins room in October and she absolutely loves it here, as do we!
The team are excellent from the keyworker and room staff through to the settings management. They have been so caring and considerate, not only to our daughter but to our whole family in the settling in period.
There is so much warmth from everyone who works here. They’re also so wonderful with my older five year old daughter who comes to drop off/pick up her sister. We’ve been blown away by the pastoral care as well as the functional activities / learning they provide.
My daughter is excited to go to nursery and see her friends (small and grown-up). She even tried to climb back through the gate this week as she didn’t want to come home!
We are so pleased we found Little Elms and highly recommend to other families looking for a new setting for the children.

December 15, 2021 at 12:00 amMy 1 year old has been at Little Elms for six months now and we have had nothing but positive experiences. My sons key worker and all the other carers in his room are fantastic! They are so enthusiastic, passionate and kind. They have a genuine love for the job and this is reflected in the wonderful care they give my son.
My eldest son, who is now at school, went to Little Elms for three years. We had a great experience at each stage of his development and with each of his key workers.
The management staff are extremely supportive and efficient and everyone works well together as a team.
We feel very lucky to have had the care and support from Little Elms and I would highly recommend. My kids love/have loved it there.

March 25, 2022 at 12:00 amMy eleven-month-old daughter recently started at Little Elms Catford Green and we are really happy so far. She had six settling-in sessions building up from one to three hours (I joined the first one) which we thought was comprehensive, especially for such little ones in the baby room. The staff are honestly all so nice to her. She has a lovely key worker and is also getting to know all the staff in the room which I think is important for her to feel comfortable. She’s been given one-to-one attention when she’s been tearful/uncertain, but yesterday at pickup she was playing more independently and apparently she had slept at lunchtime – wahoo! – so I can see she is already happy. I’m trying to raise a baby without single-use plastic and the nursery have been really open about cloth nappies and using a potty.

July 7, 2022 at 12:00 amOur son, who is 2 years old joined Little Elms Daycare Nursery Lee back in January in the Hummingbirds room, so he has been there for about 6 months now. From when he started to now, we have seen that he is really developing well. He absolutely loves his key worker and his Nursery Manager and is so happy when we drop him off for the day. He initially used to cry when he first started, but now he smiles and really enjoys going in to have his day there. He gets involved with lots of the activities indoors, and as he loves to climb, he more often than not gets some quality time outside which is great! I would highly recommend this Nursery to all my family and friends.

September 29, 2022 at 12:00 amWe are pleased with this nursery. Our daughter settled very well and she is happy to go every day (5 days a week). The carers she had in the first year were lovely and she was fond of them. They give you a report at the end of each day with activities, sleep, and food, which is really useful. Classes are small so each child is well looked after. In her first year, the garden dedicated to the class was a bit small but they have a lovely sensory room.
If I had to mention one way for the Little Elms Lee Nursery to further improve its service is communication with the parents, as it has been a bit ‘bumpy’ at times (much better now though). I would also improve cleanliness as the room has carpet, which is not good enough in my view for hygienic reasons.

February 2, 2023 at 12:00 amWe love Little Elms. From the very good feedback ‘another mum’ told me about Little Elms – to the moment I first time spoke with the manager looking for a vacancy for my daughter until she physically started attending – they made us feel very welcome. The staff are all very friendly, my daughter enjoys attending the preschool class. The food is delicious (as my daughter told me).
Overall very happy!

April 3, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has attended Little Elms Lee for 6 months and we have had a consistently excellent experience. All of the staff are friendly and supportive, and he particularly loves his key worker. The nursery go out of their way to celebrate a diverse range of holidays and events, and the app to keep us up to date with food and naps is fantastic.

April 11, 2023 at 12:00 amWe have had a great time with Little Elms. My youngest daughter continues to love going in every week. She has made excellent relationships with the staff there who are caring and fun. She has shown great development in her milestones whilst there and continues to grow socially. My older daughter thrived in the preschool room which set her up perfectly for reception. Would definitely recommend Little Elms Nursery.

June 3, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter attends Little Elms Lee and absolutely loves it. The staff who work there are fantastic. They are extremely caring and get to know each individual child and their needs. This extends to management, too; they are extremely communicative and always go above and beyond to help.
The rooms and activities are great and my daughter has made so many lovely friends. She is so happy to attend every week, and our minds are put at ease as we know she is in an environment we trust. I would wholeheartedly recommend Little Elms Lee as a fantastic childcare provider. We love them!

July 15, 2023 at 12:00 amMy older daughter left Little Elms Lee in 2019 after 3 happy years, and my youngest is just about to leave for school after another 4 wonderful years there. She absolutely loves it and has thrived in the pre school room. The staff are amazing, they are caring and enthusiastic, always thinking about the children and ensuring they are having fun as well as providing learning opportunities and a safe and secure environment. They have really prepared her for the transition to reception. Communication is good, both from staff in terms of daily updates and management in terms of wider updates. The room itself is lovely and well equipped with a fantastic outside area. I would 100% recommend Little Elms Lee.
