September 8, 2024 at 9:32 amShe settled quickly and loves going. The team have encouraged her, especially with toilet training. Our baby daughter has just started too and its going well. We moved to the area and chose this childcare centre for our then 2.5 year old daughter.

September 11, 2024 at 7:05 amMy daughter was not the most confident in new places and could be clingy but from her first settling session at childcare centre she has never looked back. She has cried when it is not her day at childcare centre and misses it! She loves discovering with the team and playing with her friends. The team have supported through changes at home too; when a sibling was born. Which was a massive help as it was such a big change. It helped her understand what was happening and that she was still so important to us too. Even though her key worker changed a few times she did not mind as she has a excellent relationship with all the team. She is so ready for school but is truly going to miss everyone. Cannot suggest enough. Our youngest will be attending when it is his turn! Lancing Day Childcare centre have been incredible.

October 14, 2024 at 6:14 amHe is a confident, compassionate and loveable little boy, I believe the team have contributed to this, to which he is now ready to move over to the toddler room. The transition has been truly smooth with no hiccups. The team are the kindest of people, consistently listening to your worries, give advice and cheer at the special moments achieved. The food is spectacular, having an on site chef making the food makes it a home from home journey. Being a first time mum and having to go back to work when my little boy was 9 months old was difficult, but I felt completely at ease, reassured that my son was in secure hands.

October 16, 2024 at 3:22 amThe childcare centre practitioners are incredible and you can tell they truly care for the well-being of the kids. I appreciate the time and energy they spend on the kids and I am assured I’m leaving my little one in excellent hands. They are attentive, energetic, and focused on the development of each kid at their own level and pace. It’s like we are sending our little one to an extension of our family. We just started at the Childcare centre and already I’m impressed.

I would like to thank the childcare centre Practitioners for encouraging my daughter, helping her gain self‑assurance, and consistently going that extra step. My daughter has been attending the childcare centre since September 2020 starting in the 2-3s room.

I will definitely send my other kids here when it’s time. Been truly cheerful with the care at this childcare centre, my son has loved attending.

November 28, 2024 at 7:24 pmShe truly enjoys her time here and has built truly strong relationships with her key workers. The childcare centre practitioners have been absolutely fantastic with her. She gets on well with all the other kids and comes home cheerful and tells me about all the enjoyable things she’s done that day. My daughter has been at this remarkable childcare centre from the baby snug up to the now larger pre-school room.

December 8, 2024 at 5:05 pmEspecially with her speech. I honestly don’t know what I would do without them. Special shout out to one particular member of team who is most mentioned by my daughter. She and everyone has been fantastic to my daughter. When she first arrived my daughter’s behaviour was highly challenging, but they took it all in their stride. Her speech has improved dramatically between speech and language therapy and the childcare centre working together. I am so highly grateful to all of the team. My daughter has excelled in this childcare centre.

January 1, 2025 at 3:43 amMy daughter loves going in every day and she is discovering so much with them. They have improved the menu. But I am still not cheerful with pudding for every meal. I’m sure there is no need to give kids sugar when they are so young. And it is hard to tell one kid they can’t have it when all their friends are having it. Lovely team.

January 16, 2025 at 6:33 amWhen he started childcare centre, he could only say a few words but within a month of starting, he was able to sing a childcare centre song to me. His speech has gone from strength to strength since. More recently, my son has needed assistance with his emotional development and I can’t thank the team, especially his keyworker, enough for the help and strategies they’ve given to my son and myself to work through what was a pretty tough period. The childcare centre space is incredible, the new room layout truly maximises the useable space and I enjoyed seeing my son access different areas of discovering during the recent open day. The outside space is incredible and I’m sure my son would spend all day every day out there if he could. I couldn’t ask for a better childcare centre, I highly suggest it! In almost 2-years, the team at Lancing Day Childcare centre & Pre-school have worked miracles on my son.

January 18, 2025 at 11:55 amIn the beginning, he struggled to separate from me but over time the team made this a positive journey for him. He has made some lovely friends and often talks about them and the team that are in preschool.
The team are all so attentive, understanding and highly well‑informed. All the team are truly welcoming and will go above and beyond to help and assistance.
The observations that we receive are highly welcoming and give us an insight into his discovering and the enjoyable he has there.
We are so please with how our son has progressed over his time here. Our son has been coming to the childcare centre since he was two and a half and in this time he has blossomed and gained so much self‑assurance.

Whilst in the caterpillar room my son was exceptionally cared for by the team in there.

My son loves coming to his childcare centre (which makes all the difference and its so nice knowing he loves it and he is secure and cared for). I couldn’t think of a better safer childcare centre for my son to attend. The garden, facilities and food are excellent too. Adore this childcare centre and my son loves it.

April 12, 2025 at 4:36 amThe new setup of the childcare centre is truly excellent and airy with free-flow access to a big garden playground. I also like that they log activities on the app after each session.
The team have been exceptional with her, sometimes she even cries when I pick her up because she doesn’t want to leave! My daughter has been going here since January’22 when 2.5yrs, and there has been an improvement in her eating habits, she speaks a lot more and although she has consistently been confident they still took the time and patience to make sure she settles in well.

So much attention is paid to the kids and no stone is left unturned to ensure that my kids get the best experiences every day. Updates is top-notch and their feedback is laudable. The videos and photos I get from their daily activities and the constant development report is excellent! The food is excellent and I am glad my kids are being exposed to varieties and independent feeding. The management and team of the childcare centre are absolutely welcoming and incredible!

The childcare centre follows the rules of Covid. Highly suggest the childcare centre especially for the care they have for kids.

May 3, 2025 at 3:31 amShe has just had her last day there. Over the years there have been changes made that have only made the childcare centre better and better. She loved being there, it was like her second home. The team were all lovely and actually cared about how she was progressing, she loves the food and eats everything normally with seconds. Management truly listen to any questions or queries and try and implement what you have said. Truly lovely setting for kids, lots to do and so much enjoyable. Thank you to all the team. You made her ready for school and have helped shape the person she is. My daughter has been coming to the childcare centre since 9 months old.

May 5, 2025 at 4:40 pmAll the team have been excellent, especially her key worker who has been there since our daughter started back in June 2018. Our little one has grown so much, she’s got so much self‑assurance (maybe too much – lol) and will do so well at school thanks to the manager and the rest of the team. Our daughter has been at The Childcare centre Family in Lancing for four years now and is due to leave for school this month.
The four years there have been exceptional and she’s absolutely loved it.
