September 17, 2024 at 7:07 pm5 stars all around! We had been looking for a great childcare centre for a long time then as soon as we walked into the Windmill Montessori Childcare centre School we were blown away! We got an incredible inviting and inviting feeling from the team members and the setting. The childcare centre itself is light bright, spotless and colourful. You can see that all of the team members genuinely care about the well being, safety and development of your kid.
It is incredibly organised lovely nice small groups with outstanding team to pupil ratios.
Our son had found it sometimes challenging to interact socially with other kids and when meeting adults he would go insane! Now he has developed so quickly in such a short space of time, now he interacts excellently with other kids and adults. He talks positively about his educators and his friends at childcare centre. He loves telling us how much enjoyable he’s had and what he’s learnt each day. We are so so proud of our sons development whilst being at Windmill. Wow!

September 25, 2024 at 8:06 pmHe attends the morning sessions at the moment. We like the sense of orderliness and calm at the childcare centre and our son is thriving in the supportive setting. He speaks openly about his educators; he is clearly warmly looked after and cared for. The low kid to teacher ratio gives me self‑assurance that his needs are being assessed and he is being developed. The garden is a big perk – he loves being outside and it is rare to find a Montessori with outdoor space in our neighbourhood. The childcare centre is well-managed and that leads to a cheerful setting for everyone. Our son lights up when he sees a classmate at the park in a Windmill uniform. He says “friend from x (blue, purple, etc) group” – it’s helping him develop an understanding of community. Thanks Windmill! Our son settled into Windmill Montessori truly well (after being at home with us for 2 full years).

October 5, 2024 at 3:31 amMy 3-year-old boy settled in highly comfortably with help from the educators. Knowing that my boy is secure, comfortable and discovering in a great setting makes me highly cheerful. All the team at the childcare centre are highly welcoming and approachable.

November 16, 2024 at 6:08 amMy eldest son is exceptionally cheerful there, the setting is highly welcoming and relaxed, yet they learn a lot every day. The educators pay a lot of attention to every kid’s needs and provide weekly feedback and updates about what they have been busy with. The Headteacher puts all her energies and commitment into what she does, consistently making sure that parents’ expectations, as well as kids’s needs, are met. I could not suggest Windmill Montessori Childcare centre highly enough and I also look forward to my second kid joining in a few months. We couldn’t be happier with Windmill Montessori Childcare centre.

November 24, 2024 at 12:43 pmMy daughter loves going to school every day. Kids are helped to develop independence and self‑assurance in a nurturing and attentive setting. Educators pay a excellent amount of attention to the development of each kid and kids. We could not be happier. Windmill Montessori is a fantastic childcare centre.

November 30, 2024 at 12:34 amThe headteacher is phenomenal, she puts passion, years of journey and warmth into everything she does and that tone is reflected by the happiness of the kids.
The kids are respected as individuals and teaching is highly much tailored towards their individual development
During the last 4 months, the schools and the company that owns it have behaved in an impressive way, with outstanding updates and activities for the kids before they were able to return to school. I can not suggest Windmill highly enough .Having sent two kids to Windmill I can only say the school gets even better each year.

January 12, 2025 at 1:53 pmThere is a excellent sense of community among the parents and kids attending. You get a sense of homeliness and safety, which contribute to creating a serene and nurturing setting.
The school location is highly nice, with the indoor benefiting from ample windows ensuring the kids consistently have direct natural light. The outside space is highly well sized, especially considering the small number of kids attending the school. All the spaces are consistently notably spotless, which I think is not too easy to find in London nurseries. The educators are compassionate and full of attention.
But the one thing that won me over entirely when my kid started is that you never hear kids crying at either pickup or drop off. It’s incredible how cheerful they are to go to school every day!
I guess the only downside is that the childcare centre follows the school term timetable and that it closes at 3pm! Windmill Montessori is a small childcare centre located in the heart of Maida Vale.

January 19, 2025 at 10:07 amMy son has truly thrived at Windmill Montessori and is so excited for childcare centre every single day. We have had the best journey there. The kindest and most attentive teaching team who truly engage with the kids.

January 25, 2025 at 12:26 pmThe Head Teacher is exceptionally welcoming, approachable, well‑informed and supportive. She is also highly easy to contact, consistently picking up the phone and replying to emails. My kids are thriving as a result of the time spent at Windmill and I drop them off each morning knowing they will be well looked after and cared for by the team. From Day 1, my journey of Windmill has been entirely positive.

January 26, 2025 at 7:58 amOur son loves going there and only after a few months in, he has developed lots of new skills. The educators are highly attentive and attentive, lots of different activities that stimulate the kids’s development. I truly like the outdoor space where the kids can playtime (it’s rather small but that’s not surprising in central London). Through the app parents get ongoing updates on the kid’s development as well as pictures from the activities. We truly could not be happier with the childcare centre and the team! I highly suggest Windmill Montessori. We are highly cheerful with Windmill Montessori.

March 7, 2025 at 3:39 amWe are exceptionally cheerful with the school, the educators, the nurturing setting and curriculum. Our kids gained in self‑assurance, learnt to express their feelings and be independent. They made friends and are consistently cheerful to go.
We were also highly impressed how the school managed the lockdown and post lockdown situation, not charging fees to parents when the school was closed, communicating permanently with the parents, making sure the setting was secure for everyone while minimising stress for parents.
I strongly suggest Windmill Montessori Childcare centre. Two of my kids went to (and one is still at) Windmill Montessori Childcare centre.

April 11, 2025 at 5:27 pmThe educators are highly attentive and consistently tend to all the kids’s needs. The headteacher is absolutely fantastic and dedicated. There is so much effort into every activity that is planned and she still accommodates all the parent’s requests. Since attending my son’s self‑assurance and self-belief has improved significantly. I highly suggest the Windmill to anyone thinking of joining. I can’t express enough how cheerful I am with the Windmill Childcare centre.

May 6, 2025 at 9:13 amOur little boy has blossomed and become more social, confident and well‑informed since attending the school. Educators clearly adore the kids and their jobs. Incredible educators and headmistress make this school a real gem.

May 26, 2025 at 6:36 amWe have been highly cheerful with the loving and nurturing setting at the childcare centre and my kids have thrived there! The educators are outstanding at understanding the needs of the kid and tailoring their approach to handling individual personalities. The Head Teacher is enthusiastic and conscientious and highly great at communicating with the parents. The online app where your teacher can post development updates and photos of your kid to share with the parents on a regular basis is a new addition this term and we are highly cheerful with it. I wholeheartedly suggest Windmill to all prospective parents! I have been a Windmill parent for six years now and my third kid is currently attending the childcare centre.

June 6, 2025 at 6:21 pmOn her days in, she comes home cheerful and full of stories and speaks of her educators with affection. I’ve found updates with team to be particularly great, with swift responses and lots of reassurance with any queries. I’m looking forward to her further developing holistically in an setting which is clearly both creative and nurturing. My daughter recently started at the Montessori and her transition was so seamless- she wanted to stay longer on her highly first day.

July 3, 2025 at 2:39 pmThe kids took a while to settle in as they weren’t used to seeing new faces during the pandemic. The educators were truly patient and attentive. It didn’t take the kids long when they started enjoying getting ready for school, having met new friends, getting to playtime and learn new things every day. It’s been about 3 months now and they can’t stop talking about their educators. We notice their growing abilities, nurturing their independence in daily activities and I’m also glad to see the fondness increasing between them. All thanks to Windmill… I’m cheerful that this childcare centre was our first choice & we didn’t have to look further! We had only heard great things about this childcare centre before we decided to put our twins there.

July 3, 2025 at 11:56 pmThe team seem welcoming and attentive, they look after the kids but also give them their independence. They are well organised and spotless. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, the separation from the kids especially in the first week, was a little abrupt but it slightly got better in the following weeks. Our journey is fairly short, as our son has been there only for a month but he seems to delight in it.

July 9, 2025 at 3:07 pmThe head teacher has a “can-do” attitude which percolates to the rest of the team. The daily routine is meticulously organised and takes into account specific needs. We felt individually cared for as a family. The activities here are enjoyable and challenging at the same time – both of our kids were equally cheerful and busy. There is a great mix of kid (Montessori) and adult initiated activities. In addition to discovering about the world, the kids were able to build an educational base strong enough to successfully move on to academically selective schools. The childcare centre took assessments highly seriously. Above all, both kids have highly inviting memories of Windmill and consistently remember it as a cheerful place.
The educators seemed highly cheerful too – they truly delight in their jobs and form individual connections with kids! Same impression about the assistance team. We sense blessed to have been part of Windmill family. We did extensive research before joining Windmill and our expectations were exceeded by a mile.
