Kindred Cambridge Day Nursery and Pre-School

The equipment they have is varied and frequently distributed in highly creative ways. My son adores pretty much every aspect of the childcare centre, the team follow him closely and is enthusiastic about his development. The food is also highly varied and the kids get to journey world celebrations.

Kids have plenty of outdoor time with a sweet little garden for free flow playtime. This is a small childcare centre with an extremely welcoming sense. There is also plenty of equipment to keep the kids well entertained, with different activities offered each day.
The team are fantastic. They are so kind to the kids and work extremely hard to create fun interesting activities for them.
The food is all freshly cooked, and my daughter devours every morsel, refusing to leave before she’s had her tea! The food is healthy, with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Parents are kept well informed daily of the activities the kids have participated in via a fantastic app. Regular detailed progress reports re your kid’s progress in relation to the early year’s key stages are provided. Parents are also regularly given suggestions on activities to do with kids, including various local or online resources available.
This is a fantastic, attentive little childcare centre, which I highly suggest.

She started on 2 half days per week, and in Jan 2023 increased to 3 half days. Our daughter started at Kindred Cambridge in Sep 2022 at the age of 3 years 3 months, having never been to any childcare setting before. She took a few sessions to settle in, but we were given great advice by the team about how best to handle that, and in general were so cheerful and impressed with how kind, supportive and welcoming they all were. Every member of team knew our daughter’s name from day one, so no matter who opened the door on arrival, she consistently got the warmest welcome. The team are absolutely professional and on top of everything and I’ve never had any doubt that our daughter is secure and well looked after, and that if she was ever truly upset, they wouldn’t let that continue without letting us know. Our daughter quickly bonded with her keyworker and now loves her! The atmosphere in the room is warm and welcoming and they care about getting to each individual kid. They keep us very well informed. Very cheerful.

The boys have truly enjoyed attending and I sense comfortable leaving them knowing that they are very well cared for. We’ve used the childcare centre for a few years now and it has been outstanding the whole time. All the team are incredible and they communicate well, sharing lots of pictures of them having fun and documenting their discovering journey as well as showing an interest in what the kids delight in outside of the setting.

My son who is 1 Year and 4 months started in January and so far he seems to be settling in very well thanks to the lovely care of the team. Such a lovely small but very personal place. He is very attached to me but after just several visits I sense confident leaving him in the childcare centre. What I truly adore is the communication: through an app, I am sent regular updates on how my son is getting on, if he is sleeping, eating or playing with pictures as well at times. Really puts my mind at rest which is what every parent wants especially when starting at a new place. The team is so lovely and consistently reply quickly. Every day kids seem to be busy with different things and there are consistently posts about Whats on for that day! So overall it is a lovely place for my little one.

Staffs are supportive and welcoming. We have our kids at Sunflower and very cheerful with their discovering and development. Despite the current situation with the pandemic, they have continued to make it a excellent place for the kids to develop and a secure place to be in.

My son has consistently been a bit nervous around new people, however, the team are so welcoming and welcoming that it didn’t take long for him to settle in. My two-year-old started here in January and I can’t suggest the childcare centre more! He consistently comes out of the childcare centre so cheerful, and I consistently get regular updates on how he is going!

They are dedicated to the wellbeing and development of the kids, and I have consistently been beyond cheerful. The team at Sunflower Nursery are what make this such a fantastic, attentive and cheerful place for preschool kids. I sense very lucky to have found such incredible people to help shape my kids. I have consistently recommended Sunflower Nursery to people in the past, and will definitely continue to do so.

She comes home from childcare centre every day with a huge smile on her face and lots of stories to tell, which gives me so much peace of mind. The team are absolutely incredible who look after my daughter. They have dealt with the whole pandemic amazingly, supporting the kids with all the changes going on. I appreciate all the team and have only praise for them. Thank you for everything you do and continue to do for all us.

It is very spotless and secure. It is a fantastic childcare centre with excellent team who care greatly about the kids. The kids are given a excellent variety of fun things to do and learn throughout the day. My daughter consistently returns home cheerful.
