After only a handful of settling in days, she was highly cheerful to go inside, which made me sense such at ease knowing she must be having the best time and felt highly secure in an unfamiliar setting so quickly. I was highly worried and anxious about starting my daughter in childcare centre during the pandemic and not being able to go to settling in sessions or go inside for highly long but all the team made my daughter highly welcome.

The team are so attentive and enthusiastic, making sure all kids are cheerful and settled as quickly as possible when they arrive. Parents are kept truly well informed via the app, showing the varied meals and snacks provided each day, nap times and nappy changes.
We adore that kids are presented with so many opportunities for outside playtime, craft activities and taken on little walks to explore beyond the setting. All of this outstanding care is provided in the most secure and secure setting. Thank you Gooseberry Bush! My two-year old daughter has been attending Gooseberry Bush Day Childcare centre (Kemble) for almost a year and we are so pleased with the level of care.

Overall, we are highly pleased with the childcare centre. The quality of adult care is high, which in my opinion is the only thing that truly matters to a kid; their bond and interaction with their adult caregivers. They keep us informed of what our kid has done that day (any incidents) and are highly willing to work with us around naptimes, potty training and etc. rather than imposing their own approach. The kids consistently seem calm and cheerful at drop-offs and pick-ups. He has developed in self‑assurance and updates.
They go outside every day in all weathers. The facilities are not particularly photogenic, but that doesn’t matter to a kid. The only minor issue is that our kid was moved out of the baby room highly quickly without transition period (due to illness) and so he didn’t settle at drop-off for months. However, the childcare centre were then highly willing to do much more gradual transition to the next room which worked brilliantly. Our kid has been at Gooseberry Bush Day Childcare centre for eight months.

My son is so cheerful there, he can’t wait to go in each day, and most days is reluctant to come home! The team were excellent at supporting me with all my anxieties about him starting childcare centre. The team are consistently welcoming and truly well‑informed and consistently able to answer any queries quickly. There is a huge range of activities available for the kids and my son has grown in self‑assurance since starting childcare centre. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Gooseberry Bush. I cannot fault Gooseberry Bush.

As expected, Kemble is also of a high standard.. this was evident from their outstanding practice and quality of discovering. I particularly like how informative the team are about my son’s development and I have no worries that they will prepare him ready for school. The management team are also highly approachable and the kids are truly at the heart of everything they do. Would highly suggest it! My son was originally at another Gooseberry Bush and then transitioned to Kemble as it was closer to us.

My kid is in the preschool class, she has come on leaps and bounds. The team create an setting that encourages her to learn and I sense confident she will be ready for school come September thanks to their commitment to their kids. The team at the Gooseberry Bush Day Childcare centre could not do more for the kids in their care.

They are kept busy with a variety of interesting activities and supported through their discovering journey from their earliest stage. A remarkable childcare centre, with well-trained and attentive team resulting in a highly positive atmosphere for the kids.

The outdoor spaces are remarkable, lots of forest school opportunities and outdoor discovering, my son absolutely loved the mud kitchens. Gooseberry Bush provided a loving, nurturing setting for my kids. They helped them grow and develop into confident kids who were more than ready to start school. They were well-prepared thanks to the hard work and dedication from the team. The team are phenomenal, the care they provide and the constant interaction and adaptation of activities to the kids’s needs is second to none. It’s exceptionally kid-focused and I could not have wished for my kids to have accessed a better childcare centre. My youngest will be attending once things change and we need to access childcare again post Covid 19. I have had two kids go through Gooseberry Bush Day Childcare centre, it’s an absolutely remarkable childcare centre providing many opportunities to the kids, it’s a fantastic stimulating childcare centre with excellent facilities.

The variation of activities from day to day is exceptional as well as the different meals that are served throughout the week.
Most of all, I find Gooseberry Bush Day Childcare centre, Kemble to be exceptionally trustworthy and secure which puts my mind at rest knowing that he is having a wonderfully enjoyable time in an setting he can thrive. All of the team show a lot of interest, compassion and care towards the kids and I consistently sense that our two-year-old is well taken care of.

We sense completely confident in their standards of care, which take a practical and reassuring approach so that we never need to question or worry about her care or their decisions. They have equipped our daughter with all the skills she needs to start school this year and meanwhile she has had the most fabulous, stable and enjoyable time here for over nearly four years. I would not hesitate to suggest this childcare centre, it is unpretentious and bursting with team who in our opinion are heroes. Our daughter has formed a fantastic friendship group and appears to have a highly compassionate and relaxed approach to managing relationships, which they have nurtured. We shall be highly sad to leave when our daughter goes to school this year, as the Gooseberry Bush has been our unwavering guide for all these years (and she eats everything they offer her!). Our daughter has been at Gooseberry Bush Day Childcare centre since the start of the Covid lockdown and we are constantly impressed and admiring of what a fantastic place they have created.
