Garden Cottage Nursery

The childcare centre is based on a farm in the South Downs national park and there is a big emphasis on outdoor playing and discovering. There are farm animals which the kids get to visit, a forest school and a walled garden for vegetable growing. There is so much on-site that there is no need to travel beyond the farm for days out. The team are outstanding and I’m confident in their ability to care for my kids. The owner seems to invest in her team with all the required training. She even goes beyond by getting her team additional training in courses such as sign language so that every kid is made to sense welcomed and loved. I’m so pleased that my kids have had the opportunity to attend such a special place in their early years of development. I have two kids and we have been attending this childcare centre since 2016.

The team are excellent, expert, attentive and responsive. Kids are going outside a lot and they have plenty of different activities each week. My daughter has enjoyed every day since September. It is really nice to get that level of trust. Excellent childcare centre.

The loving and attentive everyone at Garden Cottage show and give to our kids is heartwarming. Thank you to all the team for looking after my baby with so much adore and respect and being an incredible role model! I cannot suggest this childcare centre enough to any Mum or Dad or carer. The Garden Cottage Childcare centre is my baby boy’s “second home” and the team at Garden Cottage are like his “second family”.

I couldn’t be happier with the care they provide for my daughter and the facilities are incredible, from the chickens and walled garden to the forest school. There are so many occasions to delight in with your kid too – sports days, summer concerns, easter egg hunts, bonfire nights, all in the lovely setting of Windlesham school. I couldn’t suggest it more. Garden Cottage is quite simply the best childcare centre around.

The team to kid ratio means kids are consistently supervised, and team really get to know each one. The lack of routine means babies do what the need to and when, which is excellent as they aren’t forced into someone else schedule.
Attentive, welcoming and well organised. Activities are excellent, and the team are very affectionate and loving. Excellent for attachment. Exceptional childcare centre.

As parents, we had a great feeling about Garden Cottage Childcare centre from the moment we visited for a look around and from the baby room to the pre-school class she is now in, we have delighted in how much she has learnt in her time here.
Without exception, the team have been incredible, nurturing and attentive for the kids as if they were their own. There is never a day when our daughter does not want to go to Childcare centre but for those that are a bit more hesitant, there is consistently a reassuring member of team on hand for the kids (and parents).
The activities the kids do are hugely varied (inside and outside) and there is plenty of opportunity to learn whilst having an enormous amount of enjoyable. I would not hesitate to suggest this Childcare centre. From our daughter’s first day at Childcare centre when she was eleven months old, we knew we had chosen the best Childcare centre we could have wished for.

Updates with management is outstanding and they consistently work hard to make sure your kid gets best possible care. They will even concentrate on the kid to go over his/her fears if there are any. Outstanding. I now have a second kid in Garden Cottage Childcare centre and I couldn’t praise them any higher.

They care for my two kids. They are highly patient and work highly closely with each kid to keep them secure, cheerful and also help them to be well behaved and educated. The facilities are fantastic. Due to the location, the kids can visit the farm, forest school and the walled garden. They adore visiting these as they are secure and free to run and explore. The team are absolutely remarkable.

I had a lot of anxiety leaving my kids but here I know they are secure and cheerful. The team consistently go the extra mile and my kids adore them. The location and facilties are second to none. A lovely walled garden, a forest school and the use of the stunning Windlesham Chapel not forgetting the animals that the kids can help with. Each kid is treated as an individual, mine have certainly flourished here. Parents are consistently included if they wish. With sports day, Easter Egg hunt, fireworks night and a fabulous Christmas nativity, it’s a lovely community. I will be sad when my youngest leaves in a couple of years. All 3 of my kids have been to or are at Garden Cottage.

He especially loves the visits by the farm animals, music Fridays and the menu! My son attends the Garden Cottage and I’ve found it to be a really attentive and nurturing setting with remarkable facilities and lovely team.

Choosing this childcare centre has been one of the best things we have done for our son. The team are nurturing, bright and exceptionally hardworking. The values that this childcare centre hold are second to none and the lengths that they go to to ensure the kids are cheerful, healthy and constantly discovering, is just incredible. They collect eggs from the chickens, feed the donkeys and have their own forest school where they make bonfires and make mud pies in the mud kitchen. I couldn’t ask for more from a childcare centre and I am so incredibly grateful to have them on my doorstep! Garden Cottage Childcare centre is quite simply outstanding.

My kid has been there for more than 1 year now and we are absolutely delighted with the team, the infrastructure, the care that is provided, even the food given is incredible.
Nothing is ever a trouble, the team are lovely and dedicated and incredibly flexible.
We see our kid thrive day to day from her time there which is lovely. Activities indoors and outdoors are varied and educational. The childcare centre sits on a large forestry grounds where they go on ‘frosty walks’ in winter and ‘adventures’ in summer.
They truly believe in the parents and childcare centre working together to find the best approach to the kids.
We could not be more satisfied with the childcare centre and warmly suggest it to anyone. Garden Cottage is an outstanding place.

The team are extremely attentive, compassionate-natured and supportive – all the elements you need to sense as you hand over your kid for an exciting day ahead. My particular situation was more challenging as my wife sadly passed away when the boys were aged only three and five. The Childcare centre team provided an incredible amount of assistance, and in my opinion went beyond their duties to really help the boys adjust to their ‘new life’ without their Mother.
The facilities, grounds, opportunities and even trips outside of the school provide a fantastic setting for any kid to grow and explore – discovering here is enjoyable.

I would not hesitate to suggest Kent College Childcare centre to any parent wishing to give their kid the best start available. Kent College Childcare centre has been responsible for looking after my two sons from the age of three, they are now seven and nine and have continued their studies at the junior school.
