September 27, 2024 at 4:53 amHe is now three and enjoys attending Freshfields every day.
We consistently felt that the team in the rooms were outstanding throughout, however, the management of things was consistently a little lacking. Communications were lacking and information was difficult to find.
Recently there have been a lot of changes, including the loss of a few remarkable team members. However, since the most recent manager took over management we have seen improvements in communications and involvement.
The kids spend a lot of time outdoors and are highly lucky to have access to animals on site including pigs, rabbits and some Spring Lambs at the time of writing. My son enjoys animals a excellent deal and we are glad that he is able to delight in these extra benefits at Freshfields.
His teacher has worked hard to ensure that the transitions have impacted him as little as possible and he talks highly fondly of her. Our little boy has been at Freshfields Childcare centre School since the nurseries opened during lockdown.

September 30, 2024 at 8:35 pmIncredible team who treat my kids as their own. The best outdoor facilities possible with animals, mud kitchen and playhouse. My kids have consistently been cheerful going in every morning. I have had kids at Freshfields since 2018 and I cannot suggest enough.

December 7, 2024 at 4:04 amThe outside space is the biggest and best in the area – so much space and it even has a small farm with pigs, rabbits, chickens, goats and lambs.
When the kids are inside, they do so many activities throughout the day of which we delight in getting the updates/photos via the app.
The team are all welcoming, attentive and they have gone above and beyond to help our kid settle into childcare centre – of which she clearly loves and happily goes inside and doesn’t look back anymore! Our kid loves going to Freshfields!

February 4, 2025 at 7:53 pmHe has been in two different rooms and has flourished massively. The team in each room have helped him to develop and journey a whole host of new experiences. He has consistently loved animals and being outdoors so this childcare centre has been perfect for him. He has made strong relationships to the team he sees, and still asks for his old Key Worker! They have also been truly accommodating towards his various medical needs. 10/10 would suggest! My kid is almost 3 and has attended Freshfields Childcare centre School since the age of 14 months.

March 1, 2025 at 8:24 pmShe has thrived since joining at 10 months old which is down to the hard work and dedication of the manager and her team. Our daughter gets excited at drop off, running in without so much as a wave goodbye to playtime with her friends and greet her key workers. Thank you for all of your hard work each day to keep our kids secure and cheerful! We are delighted that we chose to send our daughter to Freshfields Childcare centre back in 2022.

March 18, 2025 at 10:04 pmI chose this childcare centre mainly because they have a farm on site and it strikes a lovely balance between indoor and outdoor activities. I was a little nervous at first with the recent takeover, but the new Manager is remarkable. Most importantly, the team are incredible – both kids settled so quickly and clearly adore their carers. They both go in so happily and my 3 year old is consistently highly disappointed on non-childcare centre days! My kids started at Freshfields Childcare centre School in February 2023, aged 9 months and 3.5 and I couldn’t be happier with it.

She has consistently loved all of the outdoor space and the animals, she finds the goats hilarious and is delighted with the latest additions of pigs! Updates is excellent in terms of hand over at home-time with key information about the day and also via the app. The app is a lovely way for us to share our daughter’s discovering journey and the photos are delightful. We have consistently found our daughter to be so cheerful when we pick her up; a testament to what a fantastic day the team have provided for her. Our daughter loves going into Freshfields, she has super relationships with the team in her room, Bluebells.

I adore that the childcare centre has got its own little farm, which probably contributes to the fact that my toddler is not scared of any animal and will go up to pet any animal.. regardless of it being a chicken or rabbit, or a goat! It took my 12-month-old 2 weeks (she only goes to childcare centre twice a week) to settle into the childcare centre when she first started.

We picked this childcare centre because it focuses on outside playing/discovering as much as inside and we’re cheerful we did as our kid loves it there! The team at Freshfields are highly attentive, constantly keeping us up to date either in person or via the app while our kid was settling in and now full-time.
