VisitingPlease contact their Admissions Officer (Cathy Scott) for details on their admission process. They welcome parents for individual tours at 9.00am or 11.00am. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they are carefully scheduling visits at times when socially distant tours can effectively take place, so 4.30pm is also available for tours.

The staff are incredibly caring and supportive; nothing is too much trouble and they know all the children’s individual interests, which makes the care very personalised. The range of activities offered is varied and engaging, which is testament to the expertise of the staff.

September 15, 2020 at 12:00 amMy 2 children have attended the nursery and Lambs class at Fairfield School. They both love it. It has been a pleasure to see them grow from strength to strength over the past year or so. The team at Fairfield is like no other; dedicated, hard-working and motivated – the children at Fairfield are at the centre of all they do and that is what makes it such a special place.
We are having to relocate with work and therefore having to move the children to a new nursery and school. We will all be very sad to leave but are extremely grateful for the wonderful start that they have both had at Fairfield.

February 4, 2021 at 12:00 amWe have two children at Fairfield both joined at 2 years old. We have been very impressed with the school they offer a fantastic platform for children to learn and grow. The staff from Lambs at 2 are fantastic, patent, caring and kind. All the staff are a credit to the school and have given and continue to give our children the best start to learning. Both our children enjoy school very much. As we work long hours they have fantastic support with aftercare and holiday club as well. Fairfield has also been great throughout the pandemic as well and accommodated all the challenges seamlessly. We would recommend this school to anyone looking to give their children the best start in their education and learning.

February 5, 2021 at 12:00 amWe’re really pleased with this nursery for our daughter. The staff keep us up to date; they are challenging and developing her daily. The variety of activities is a good balance of new things mixed in with old favorites.
It’s a small nursery but this has worked well for our daughter as she meets a consistent group of friends and staff. Our daughter is pleased to see her friends and the staff each day.

His younger brother is about to turn 2 and will soon join Fairfield for a day a week initially and we cant wait to see the results. The level of care and diligence the whole school gives our child and us have impressed us more than we could have imagined and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fairfield to anyone considering the school.

Nothing is ever too much trouble and the attention to detail is incredible. The nursery prepares children brilliantly for reception, not only with an unbeatable academic grounding but also emotionally, making school a natural and easy step. I could not recommend Fairfield more highly.

There’s a large variety of activities and external providers such as forest school. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery and as my son is so happy, he is staying on in reception.

Both my son (now in year 1 at Fairfield) and daughter (currently in the nursery) have attended Fairfield. Fairfield is more than just a nursery or child care. It is an academic environment where they nurture and prepare your child to begin Reception. In the nursery, they begin to learn phonics, writing, numbers, reading and more. The staff and teachers are so kind, warm and lovely. As well as the academic aspect they offer wonderful activities for the children; football class on Mondays, cooking class on Wednesdays, forest school and more! There is no place else I would send my children. The school is worth every penny!

September 5, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son was a very timid 2 year old when he started in the Lambs class. He was really worried about other children having not really seen many due to Covid. However, the nursery staff were amazing and they really helped him to interact with others and after 6 months he was completely transformed. They have been really supportive with potty training, feeding himself and his language is amazing. I can highly recommend.

I love being able to see what she’s been up to on the tapestry app. Her confidence since starting has grown massively and she’s learning something new every week!

July 22, 2023 at 12:00 amFairfield School has been the best experience for our child, they come home talking about how much fun they have had every day. The range of opportunities that our child has experienced is fantastic, including Forest School, baking, free play, PE lessons, yoga and book buddies with older students. Our child’s confidence has just grown and grown, we love watching them perform in the termly concerts and shows. The teachers have so much care for all the children, thank you for giving our child the best start in education possible.

The nursery is integrated brilliantly with the school, giving the children the benefit of learning with/from their peers. Sports, music, forest school and learning fun we cannot recommend highly enough.

July 31, 2023 at 12:00 amThe best nursery! Fairfield has been a gem of a find and is a reason in itself to move to North Somerset. It is a lovely nursery that is attached to a small independent co-ed school. The nursery class is considered part of the main school, and they take part in whole school events. The nursery is caring with exceptionally high standards. My son has thrived in this school and is a confident little boy (after being quite shy when starting). There is dedicated football teaching, P.E., forest school, and welly walks every week with music as well. I feel so pleased to have my little boy at this exceptional school.
