Elmscot Day Nursery & Nursery School

Welcoming and welcoming and so is the manager. Not yet had an issue but sense like if I did I would be able to voice my concerns without being judged. My kid is very cheerful when I pick up. The team are lovely.

They really take the time to understand each kid and what makes them tick and build lovely meaningful relationships, helping shape the little people they will become and teaching key skills like kindness, sharing, and updates as well as practical skills like discovering to feed themselves. The effort they put into each day and the fantastic array of activities is remarkable. They keep me well informed through tapestry and calls if needed so I have the self‑assurance my kid is progressing, safely, and developing in the right way. The food is incredible too – so varied and nutritious so I know my kid is getting a excellent balanced diet. I am so glad we chose Elmscot – the whole team is remarkable! The team at Elmscot Day Childcare centre & Childcare centre School are just incredible – they look after the most precious person in the world with the utmost care.

Inviting and attentive towards the kids, secure and secure while providing creative, enjoyable and exciting activities daily. Members are team go above and beyond for the kids, I can’t suggest them highly enough. A remarkable setting!

The team are really compassionate and welcoming and they take a genuine interest in your kid. Our son has come on so much since starting there and it’s excellent to know he’s discovering new skills and having lots of enjoyable at the same time. We have been so pleased with Elmscot.

The team are really engaged and connected with the kids, and make a significant effort to engage parents with childcare centre life too. The childcare centre organises fantastic activities for the kids, including forest school, feeding the ducks in the park, arts and crafts and a focus on educational discovering in the older rooms. They also have a excellent menu for the kids there. Our kids are extremely cheerful at Elmscot Day Childcare centre & Childcare centre School.

You are greeted at the door, at every drop-off, with smiles to greet your little one and are updated regularly, throughout the week, with pictures and information about what they have been up to. This is both at a kid level and as a whole room. The team know my kid incredibly well and that is due to their interest in him, being aware of his own interests and what he does aside from childcare centre. It has been exceptional to watch him grow and learn so much from Willow Room. As a first-time mum, I have consistently asked about little tricks of the trade, and the assistance as a parent is incredible. Updates is clear and consistent. My son eats incredibly healthily at childcare centre and is very secure. I would highly suggest Elmscot and have done. My son started at Elmscot when he was 8 months old and from the very first settling-in session, he was being nurtured, cared for, and loved by every single member of team in Willow Room.

We have used Elmscot for three and a half years, and their care for our kids has been exemplary. They tailor their care according to your kid needs. We regularly receive challenges at home, which introduced new ideas of interacting with your kid. We are encouraged to share these challenges so the kids can discuss/share them at childcare centre with their friends. Nutrition is a top priority for Elmscot, and the kids prefer their food to our homecooked food! We would highly suggest Elmscot. Elmscot is outstanding.

The attentive and nurturing ethos ensures both our kids have made incredible development across all areas of the early years framework. But more importantly than that, they were (and are) extremely cheerful. Because Elmscot puts the kid at the heart of all they do our son has felt secure to explore, investigate, make mistakes and push boundaries in the knowledge he will be gently guided in the best possible way. All the team are inviting and approachable and updates is remarkable! This means we, as parents, consistently sense we are a part of our kid’s discovering journey. In our opinion, Elmscot is simply the best! When we were choosing a childcare centre for our second kid we knew immediately he would go to Elmscot just as his sister had.

He has been at this childcare centre now a little over 6 months and our journey has been nothing but perfect. Elmscot makes you sense at ease leaving your kid with them at such an early age and keep you in the loop with everything that happens great or bad (by bad I mean our son bumping his head whilst discovering/trying to walk as kids do!) Recently Elmscot conducted a parent’s evening via zoom which was fantastic for me and my wife – we got to ask lots of questions and our sons key worker who completed the zoom call with us was excellent and really informative with all his recent developments. They also have an app called Tapestry which is updated weekly with information and photos of our son to keep us updated about his time in the childcare centre. They also share additional activities for us to try at home with our son which is very supportive. Me and my wife have had our son at Elmscot since he was 9 months old.

They take the kids for excellent trips outside too The whole team are so welcoming and I sense that when my eldest was there she loved every single room and now my second kid is there it’s the same feeling of warmth / loving and care that they give – this is from all the team.
