Elm Park Nursery

Our son has adored Elm Park since he first started. All the teachers have been so kind and fun and made learning really enjoyable for him. I’m always impressed by the wide variety of things he learns and makes – he comes home proudly carrying his creations, from Diwali lamps to pizza, and chatting happily about them. We couldn’t be happier with Elm Park.

My daughter loves Elm Park and we are sending our second child shortly as we have been really impressed with the nursery. As a mother of a very energetic child, the huge garden and playground – which unlike so many other nurseries is situated away from main roads and associated air pollution – is a big draw for us. But what really makes the nursery are the staff: warm; caring; passionate about children; as well as delivering a structured approach to learning. I’ve also been impressed with the new manager who has already made her mark on the place ensuring the family atmosphere and good communication with parents remains.
My only criticism would be that some of the rooms/equipment look a bit tired and the place could do with a lick of paint.

Elm Park Nursery has provided a wonderful experience for our son, who began when he was 9 months old. Staff are friendly and welcoming and keep us informed daily with our son’s wellbeing and activities. Parents are contacted immediately in the event of accidents (bumps, falls etc) and staff are creative in their choice of activities. The settling-in process was gradual and gentle, and we were given opportunities to ask questions and offer feedback. Very happy to recommend.

Elm Park Nursery feels like family, with the love and care of the staff second to none. Outside facilities are excellent (what drew us in when we discovered it!) and kids get to spend a lot of time outdoors. Variety of activities, nice food, and a really warm welcome with smiling faces, and special touches like drinking water and a fruit bowl at the entrance. The head of the nursery is very visible, supports in the classrooms, responsive to parents and listens to staff. Very happy with this choice for our children!

I am so pleased by the decision I made with my husband to send our son to this nursery. The care has been wonderful from day 1 and continued throughout class transitions. The staff are amazing, friendly and warm which makes me as a parent feel confident. The app is brilliant and provides a source of connection throughout the day allowing us to see what our little one is up to. Messy play, key learning activities and more!

I am really happy with Elm Park and have sent both my sons there. My eldest son only attended Upper School and was well prepared for primary school. My youngest is still there and has a great bond with all his key workers and the outdoor space is second to none. The new management earlier this year has improved the whole nursery experience significantly.

I currently have my son enrolled at Elm Park with his sister starting in January. I’m really pleased with the care and development that he has received since starting over six months ago. He has made some lovely friends and really enjoys the large garden to run around. The staff are great and really care about the children. The structured play really helps prepare them for school and develop their minds.

I am happy I have chosen Elm Park Nursery for my son. Two staff members, in particular, are exceptional in how they look after young babies. They are very attentive, very sweet and you can tell they love their job! They always keep me updated with what my son does during the day (sleeping, eating, playing etc). They help him with developing new skills and follow his development very well. I am also happy with the management, they always reply promptly to my emails and they send information every week about activities and menus. The space is clean and there is a nice garden for babies to enjoy outside activities.

My son attends Elm Park (lower school) and his baby brother will be starting in the baby suite this month.
Our experience of the nursery has been positive overall. The staff are caring, engaged, and support each child as an individual. Our son runs in the door every day without looking back and has formed many strong friendships with his peers. We are confident that our younger son will have an equally good experience.
The big selling point for us was the amazing garden, which other local nurseries don’t offer. Knowing our children have plenty of outdoor time, every day without needing to cross a main road, is wonderful.
Since the manager started we can see improvements being made, staff seem content and there is a new app which allows for more timely updates. Sometimes the information shared with parents can be a bit generic however the teachers are always happy to answer questions.

My 1-year-old son started at Elm Park Nursery at the beginning of November. I could not speak more highly of the staff who take care of him on a daily basis. They are caring and kind, and plan the days to be full of learning and stimulating activities. The food is very nutritious and varied, and we are just so happy with the nursery. We really feel that we could not have picked somewhere better.
