Elm Park Nursery

I am cheerful with the setting. More feedback could be provided at upper school regarding discovering and development with alphabet, counting, etc but it’s only the first term. I am sure that will follow. The childcare centre and its team are welcoming, personable, and really care about my son.

I could not speak more highly of the team who take care of him on a daily basis. They are attentive and compassionate, and plan the days to be full of discovering and stimulating activities. The food is very nutritious and varied, and we are just so cheerful with the childcare centre. We really sense that we could not have picked somewhere better. My 1-year-old son started at Elm Park Childcare centre at the beginning of November.

He joined as a baby and the relationships he has developed with the team and other kids are really loving and special. “Childcare centre” has been one of his first words because he loves going! The facilities and creativity behind the activities are really outstanding, and the management is getting better and better. Particularly great in the baby room is the separate sleep room with cots, which is different to a lot of other nurseries in the area. Elm Park has such a nice homely sense and I’d suggest it highly. Our son really loves Elm Park.

Outside facilities are outstanding (what drew us in when we discovered it!) and kids get to spend a lot of time outdoors. Variety of activities, nice food, and a really inviting welcome with smiling faces, and special touches like drinking water and a fruit bowl at the entrance. The head of the childcare centre is very visible, supports in the classrooms, responsive to parents and listens to team. Very cheerful with this choice for our kids! Elm Park Childcare centre feels like family, with the adore and care of the team second to none.

Two team members, in particular, are exceptional in how they look after young babies. They are very attentive, very sweet and you can tell they adore their job! They consistently keep me updated with what my son does during the day (sleeping, eating, playing etc). They help him with developing new skills and follow his development very well. I am also cheerful with the management, they consistently reply promptly to my emails and they send information every week about activities and menus. The space is spotless and there is a nice garden for babies to delight in outside activities. I am cheerful I have chosen Elm Park Childcare centre for my son.

Our journey of the childcare centre has been positive overall. The team are attentive, engaged, and assistance each kid as an individual. Our son runs in the door every day without looking back and has formed many strong friendships with his peers. We are confident that our younger son will have an equally great journey.
The big selling point for us was the incredible garden, which other local nurseries don’t offer. Knowing our kids have plenty of outdoor time, every day without needing to cross a main road, is fantastic.
Since the manager started we can see improvements being made, team seem content and there is a new app which allows for more timely updates. Sometimes the information shared with parents can be a bit generic however the educators are consistently cheerful to answer questions. My son attends Elm Park (lower school) and his baby brother will be starting in the baby suite this month.

She was 13 months old and had never been away from either me or her father. But there was no reason to be worried – the Bonsai Room is such a fantastic place for babies. Our key worker, we truly would have been lost without her. She was so lovely and we felt like our daughter was secure and cheerful with her – I wish we could keep her as her key worked forever. Another member of team also in the baby room, I believe she has been at Elm Park for years – she is consistently so cheerful and made us sense so welcome. Our only issue is updates could be slightly better. There is now an app, where we do get updates throughout the day, but this can sometimes be a little inconsistent and generic. But other than that, we have no concerns over safety or happiness for our kid. We really do suggest. Our daughter started at Elm Park in September 2022 – we were really nervous about her going to childcare centre.

The change in management has made a huge difference and updates is so much better and the Head consistently responds to feedback. The garden is a huge plus and the whole childcare centre has a home from home sense which is why we chose it. Not sure how strong the Montessori approach is, it would be great to get a better understanding of this. Some of the rooms are smaller and a bit more dated than others so could do with upgrading. All the team are so welcoming and our son has loved his time there so far. Overall we’ve been very pleased since our son started at Elm Park earlier this year.

The childcare centre gives me and my kid a Home From Home journey, as the childcare centre is getting better each day. The team and management are incredible they take care of the kids so well like it is their own kids. The activities that the educators set up for the kids are so interesting even I would adore to go and have a playtime for 5 minutes. The amount of open space they have for the kids at the back of the garden is fantastic, I must say I have visited all of the nurseries in Clapham and this childcare centre took my heart straight away. Thank you Elm Park Childcare centre. I would like to say that I am very cheerful with Elm Park Childcare centre, since the new management has taken over for the past few months I can see a lot of positive changes within the childcare centre.

Our daughter runs in every morning with a smile on her face and returns the same way when we pick her up in the evenings. What more could you want! Both myself and my husband are very cheerful with Elm Park and cannot suggest it enough.
