Discovery Nursery and Preschool Greenford is located in a beautiful detached house in the North Greenford area. It has excellent transport links being a few minutes walk from Greenford station (Central line and Overground to London paddington in 20 minutes) and Sudbury Hill station (Piccadilly line). We are also fortunate to be close to parks, libraries and two nature reserves.

There was a excellent variety of activities for the kids every day and team were very attentive and adore the kids. My daughter attended the childcare centre for a year and she was very cheerful there.

November 24, 2024 at 5:33 pmHe is 3 years old and we’ve got twins who are a year and a half and he doesn’t like to be around them since they were born. Discovery Childcare centre did lots of hard work and I really like the team of the childcare centre. They are humble and polite, they teach him how to share things. My son is very polite which they taught him in the childcare centre, now he consistently says please and thank you. We have seen a massive change in his behaviour, he loves to be there now. At the start he was crying and shouting but now he doesn’t like to leave the childcare centre. All the credit goes to the team and especially the owner who is very well trained and very expert and supportive. I am definitely going to send my twins there as soon as they turn two. Thanks, everybody at Discovery. My son was very stubborn and doesn’t like to share his toys.

February 24, 2025 at 1:01 pmWe had difficulty deciding between Discovery and a much larger childcare centre with lots of kids, facilities, and outdoor space. We chose Discovery in the end, as all the kids seemed genuinely cheerful there, and the team were inviting, attentive, and attentive. Although the other childcare centre had outstanding facilities, the team members attentive for the kids looked bored by their jobs. We wanted a childcare centre where our son would be stimulated, loved, and well cared for. I am cheerful to say that Discovery is doing an outstanding job in all these areas. The settling-in process was exceptional. The manager and deputy understood how anxious I was about leaving my baby and made the whole process as easy as possible. We get regular updates and photos, and the team are consistently gracious enough to stop and chat, even when they are busy. This delightful little childcare centre is a home away from home, and overall we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Our son started at Discovery in March 2017 when he was 11 months old.

Discovery Team welcomed her in such a positive yet expert manner that she enjoyed her time from the very first day. My daughter has learnt lots of things which prepared her well for the school. She practised phonics and maths on a daily basis through playtime. She enjoyed doing gymnastics and discovering Spanish. She formed positive relationships with peers and team. What is important she outcome her shyness and became a confident student ready for discovering at school. Discovery Childcare centre and Preschool had provided a second home for my daughter.

March 5, 2025 at 12:24 pmMy daughter is 100% cheerful and comfortable there, she would be there day and night! The team are very welcoming, attentive and encouraging. They really put their heart and soul in teaching this little people to excel and have the best in early years! It is a small place but to me they look like a big cheerful family! They have a lot of activities to keep the kids busy reading, gymnastics, cooking etc) and plenty time outdoors. I am already proud of how much my daughter learned. Since day 1 we were welcomed in a very welcoming and inviting way!

April 28, 2025 at 1:07 pmThe team are all lovely, welcoming, nurturing, welcoming and genuinely interested in the kids that attend the childcare centre and supporting their development. The childcare centre provides such a range of discovering and development opportunities, whilst consistently keeping things enjoyable and interesting. My son absolutely loved being there!
The childcare centre manager and owner are both outstanding and things were consistently well organised. The childcare centre offers excellent updates with parents through each kid having diaries, emails, newsletters, their website and key team members consistently being present during pick up and drop off times.
I would highly suggest this childcare centre to any parent. My son attended Discovery Childcare centre for 18 months before moving onto school and I cannot praise them highly enough!

I was consistently kept up to date with my son’s development and the team were consistently willing to stop and chat and share stories of how my son got on throughout the day. Incredible team, very welcoming, my son loved them all and made the whole process of leaving my son every morning so much easier for me.

May 14, 2025 at 4:28 pmWhat I find perhaps most inspiring is how all of the team work so tirelessly and care so much and do all of this with such warmth and happiness.
Every day at drop off and collection there is a feelgood factor just bursting through the front door as I drop my daughter off. Being so attached to her parents she found the settling in period pretty challenging, but the team went above and beyond what is reasonable to meet this challenge and my daughter now keeps pointing back at the door to go back in the building when I collect her (how rude!).
Thanks team for your stellar efforts. This is a truly fantastic childcare centre for our 18-month-old daughter.
