The activities they do are varied and stimulating, promoting confidence and outgoing nature for the children. My husband and I are really happy with how happy and settled our girls are here. Our son joined in December 2021 and settled incredibly easily – he is so happy there and loves not only all the other children in his class but also all the staff. April 25, 2022 at 12:00 amWe are really happy with how much our son has developed under the professional care of all the staff at Pelham Road Dicky Birds Day Nursery.
All the staff are so friendly and highly skilled, giving us daily feedback on how he is getting on.
The range of activities our son gets is fantastic. The nurseries app is updated regularly which is a great way for us as parents to see what our children have been up to in the classroom.
We are so pleased our son is so happy and enjoys going there.

The staff are kind and caring. My daughter has made some very good friends with some of the other children.

The food seems to be exciting and the activities look good fun.
My boy definitely has developed hugely since being here and it’s great to see all the new words/actions he does when at home.

Everyday she goes in with a smile on her face and sometimes doesn’t want to leave! They’re always going on outings, exploring different ways of working and caring for her in a loving way.

April 25, 2022 at 12:00 amThe staff are lovely and work very hard. They have really good relationships with the children. The range of activities can be limited and repetitive. It would be really good for the children to go on more outings and to a wider variety of places.

Three of the staff were lovely, but because of poor management, we decided to cancel our contract.
Some of the reasons: a lack of being transparent on diseases going on, sometimes I heard from other parents that there is a bug outbreak before this was communicated by management.
Invoicing was a complete mess, we got several incorrect invoices with higher amounts.
The logging of activities was fake! A few times I would see What my son “ate” at the time he was not at the nursery, totally lost trust in reports.
Lack of care, my son was handed over a few times with a big poo.
There was a price increase two times within a few months which is very annoying. When we cancelled the contract I was told that we still have to pay a higher amount as the nursery needs 4 weeks’ notice to inform of the price changes and parents need 8 weeks’ notice to break the contract. So you are forced to pay whatever increase and the nursery is legally covered.

March 24, 2023 at 12:00 amExcellent nursery. All staff are extremely friendly, supportive, helpful and caring. Beautifully refurbished rooms and a brilliant outdoor space with lots of activities. Regular trips out in Wimbledon in the buggy bus.

Great communication. Our daughter seems to be very happy. They have been able to answer all our questions perfectly.

My daughter has a genetic condition that effects her development and causes her to have seizures. Prior to starting Dicky Birds, she spent her time with myself and a childminder as we didn’t feel that she was ready to enter a nursery setting, how wrong we were! From our initial visit, we knew that she would be just fine and have been proven right every day since. The staff are warm and welcoming and have gone out of their way to ensure that my daughter is not only safe but included as well. In her short time with Dicky Birds we’ve seen her development and confidence thrive and we know that is in big part to the care and work put in by her keyworker and the setting. As a first-time mum of an SEN child, Dicky Birds has been everything that I needed and more!

March 29, 2023 at 12:00 amOur son loves going to nursery and we are extremely happy with the standard of care but the recent upgrades to the building, rooms and provisions have added to this. The team are so hands-on with the kids and we know he is well looked after, is offered a diverse range of food and has a varied day including games, reading, art and outside adventures. The team genuinely care about the kids and this is the most important thing for me. Our son is safe, cared for and engaged in activities.

They have an outdoor garden and also take babies on little trips. I am always kept informed via an app about my daughters daily activities.

August 7, 2023 at 12:00 amSuch a lovely nursery. My little boy started attending four months ago and with their help settled in so quickly and absolutely loves being there. The app showing the meals, nappy changes etc. is great and the staff are so good at getting in touch to inform me of even the smallest things. Would recommend to mum friends.
