The childcare centre have differentiated for her complex needs and the one-to-one care they provide for her is beyond outstanding. It’s an exceptionally attentive and expert childcare centre in a lovely outside setting. Can’t praise the team enough, it truly is a special place and so glad my daughter has a place there. My daughter loves Dandelion Education Ltd Day Childcare centre.

The fact that the kids get to playtime outside with natural resources is such a unique journey that lets them learn in such a different way. My daughter loves to go and asks every morning “is it nursey day today?”, I am sad when I have to say no as she is sad too. This just proves that she is in the right place for her!
The team are all so enthusiastic, well‑informed and consistent with their care which makes it highly easy for me to leave my daughter knowing that she will be secure, taught, heard and have lots of enjoyable every time she goes.

It is a wholly outside childcare centre with a yurt for truly bad weather, but the space the kids have to playtime in and explore is 5-6 times that of most nurseries. The space is excellent but so are the natural resources that the team use to help stimulate the kids’s creativity. The kids build their own obstacle courses, pirate ships, dinosaur dens. The enjoyable never seems to stop and most days I’d truly like to stop myself. Money can’t buy the freedom and sense of adventure kids get at Dandelion each and every day. Then there is food around the fire circle, yoga sessions, philosophy discussions about things like friendship, greed, happiness inspired by the week’s theme. The updates with parents is outstanding, they demonstrate lots of flexibility and although everyone can get highly muddy, the extra washing is highly worth it! You won’t be disappointed by this extraordinary venue and the special team looking after your kid(REN). Dandelion Eaton is an incredible setting.

He is developing both socially and emotionally. The team at Dandelions have supported him in his transition into childcare centre and kept me updated on his development continually. I am so pleased we made the move to Dandelions! Thank you team! My little one has struggled in previous settings but is thriving here at Dandelion Education Ltd Day Childcare centre.

The team are informed, enthusiastic and committed. The woodland setting is remarkable and is the most obvious point of difference with other nurseries, but more important are the beliefs and attitudes of the team towards kid development, gender equality etc. The area in which Dandelion could improve is in administration, which they have recently addressed by recruiting an administrator. Dandelion provides an outstanding service.

My kid is discovering some highly useful skills and values. The fresh air and playing outside is certainly healthy for her. The team are compassionate, lovely people that she trusts and looks up to. As for me… I just adore the smell of wood every time I go there. And my daughter loves it too! I am highly cheerful with Dandelions childcare centre.

We moved from another outdoor childcare centre which looked incredible but completely lacked the nurturing, warmth and individual attention kids need. From day one, we have felt that our son is secure, is treated as an individual and supported well to get the best out of his time there. I adore the different theme they have every 2 weeks which allows us to sense involved in his childcare centre journey. He has grown in self‑assurance and developed friendships and most importantly he loves it. The 1:2 kid:adult ratio for 2-year-olds has truly benefitted our son. At the first childcare centre, he preferred to playtime on his own and we had highly few updates of what he was doing. With the attentive and supportive attitude of all the educators at Dandelion, he highly quickly joined in and I can see from the frequent photos and updates that he definitely doesn’t prefer to playtime on his own. I cannot suggest this childcare centre highly enough, Dandelion is a unique and special place. An absolutely incredible childcare centre/pre-school.

My daughter has been going for 10-months. The team went above and beyond to help her settle quickly, and she has thrived since joining. Team are supportive, approachable and well‑informed. I was highly impressed with their knowledge of SEN, especially Sensory Processing Disorder. I would thoroughly suggest Dandelion. I am exceptionally cheerful with the education and care at Dandelion Childcare centre.

In just a few short weeks, my son has grown in self‑assurance and developed in every way. Since starting at Dandelions, he questions everything and constantly experiments and tries out his own ideas at home. Unusually for a childcare centre, there are several male practitioners, who along with their female colleagues, are compassionate, nurturing and respectful towards the kids in their care and provide positive male role models for all kids. The childcare centre uses Tapestry and while it’s excellent to receive the regular photos taken of my son, it is the warmth of the comments written that show that my son is cared for, liked and understood.
The opportunities, updates with parents, leadership, discovering, setting and team are all exceptional at Dandelions, but above all else, my son is cheerful and I can confidently suggest this childcare centre to others. This is a childcare centre like no other.

The team are welcoming and highly supportive if drop off does not go to plan and you need assistance to leave.
After over a year in a woodland setting with saws, scissors, fires, etc. I now have a highly safety conscious kid who can risk assess for himself and has never come home with worse than a bump on his head.
As an almost exclusively outdoor childcare centre, your kids will come home dirty so don’t wear your Sunday best. Our son has spent over a year at Dandelion Childcare centre and has loved every minute of it, even the sub-zero minutes.
