Our little boy loves his time at Coin Street – it’s a beautifully light, clean nursery with lots of space (indoors and out). The staff are so caring and the kids all seem to have great fun! There’s messy play, a lovely safe outdoors space and cosy reading corners. The food is delicious and home cooked on site. The management team are communicative and really welcoming – our little boy is flourishing there, I highly recommend it.

Everybody that works in Coin Street Nursery are the nicest people you would ever meet they have all the children’s best interests at heart and care and look after them all 100% and always have the time to chat about their day, and their development. There work is outstanding and they always meet the children’s needs its a pleasure to send my daughter to Coin Street.

Coin Street staff are brilliant. That, the open, welcoming environment, good quality and variety of toys and activities made this our first choice and they haven’t disappointed. Yes, it’s not perfect, and I don’t agree with having any screen (they have one large one they use for programmes), but both our children have always felt safe, secure and, I think, loved here, which is most important to us. Their child-led planning and facilitation lets the children get on with the important business of learning through whatever play they are most interested in.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Coin Street.

My baby went to the nursery as I was studying in King’s College nearby. The staff were always greeting us with a smile and my little boy learned so much! At only two and a half, he learned the different shapes, singing all the alphabet and to count to ten with lots and lots of vocabulary to express himself! He bonded nicely with his key person but also with all other members of staff and he now teaches me all the nursery rhythms he learned there.

My son had a wonderful time at Coin Street Nursery! He was there only for 5 months, from 14 to 18 months old, but it was a very important and formative experience for him, being his first time in a nursery (we left because we are moving). My son settled in easily thanks to the care and warmth and thoughtfulness of his key person and soon began to be comfortable with all the other practitioners of the Explorers Room. He loved socialising with the other babies and by the time he left he knew most of them by name. As parents, we were very positively impressed with the 1-to-1 care that the practitioners have for every single child, and with the many thoughtful verbal and written observations that they offered. We loved the variety of experiences and creative activities that they created for the children: from painting to building, to caring for plants, to seeing little ducklings hatch from the eggs and grow – What unique memories of his time at Coin Street nursery!

Would highly recommend this nursery to others.

My son was at Coin Street Nursery from 11 months, he is now four and in school.
His time at Coin Street was positive and he still talks about the nursery and the people who looked after him there. He reached all his developmental goals and exceeded in most of them thanks to the wonderful staff at Coin Street, my son is a happy and confident child.

Our daughter attended Coin Street Nursery from the age of 19 months until she was ready for school this September. I cannot speak highly enough of this nursery.
The staff were very attentive and understanding throughout the settling in phase and beyond. They always had time to talk and always fed backstories from the day. She absolutely loved her time there and made a strong group of friends whom she is still friends with, the bonus being we get along with the parents too!
Coin Street is truly a great community to be a part of and the nursery was a perfect start to our daughter’s education.

We sent our daughter (9 months) to Coin Street nursery, mainly due to the proximity to our flat but also after having attended Stay and Play sessions in the same building and hearing positive stories from other parents. She took a little longer than hoped to settle in but I think that was partly due to specific age and illness and having not been left with anyone else before. Once she had settled in properly she thrived in the nursery, enjoying the toys, engaging with the other children and staff, and eating varied, freshly prepared meals every day. The Explorers room at Coin Street has so many toys and books and is often changed around so the children never get bored of the setup. It’s unfortunate that her key worker left after a couple of months of her settling in but she had bonded well with other staff so it didn’t impact her too much.
I would recommend Coin Street to any other parents!

First and only nursery needed for my daughter. All the staff were so accommodating when she started as settling was tricky and had to be repeated a few times due to long absences.
She loved being there and was hard to drag her away.
She often talks about the nursery and the staff still! Has made some lifelong friends, we hope, in terms of the other kids and staff.
Full credit goes to all the staff and activities they did with her.

Our son has been at Coin Street Nursery since he was just over a year old, he is leaving at the end of this summer to start school. We have been very pleased with the team at Coin Street and he has loved his time there, the keyworkers really care about the children, and the building and facilities are great. For a central London nursery, they have lovely outdoor space, and it is a way back from any main roads which we felt was important. The staff turnover at Coin Street seems low which was a real positive for us, and they don’t seem to need to use agency workers all that much. The kids all seem happy and they go on some great local excursions to the river or nearby parks and playgrounds. I am very happy to recommend Coin Street to any potential new parents, we felt it was right for our son straight after our first visit as we had a really positive feeling when viewing the nursery and meeting the staff.

This is a fantastic nursery, great facilities, lovely location and amazing staff – from key person to office support. My daughter, who has been attending the nursery since she was a 1-year-old. During this time we have been extremely happy with her development, she has thrived there and staff couldn’t be more helpful, enthusiastic and friendly. She has made a lot of friends and has a good relationship with the teachers. They learn something new every day and I love that they play outside in the fresh air every day (unless of high winds) which I think is extremely important. The programme of activities is well thought out, educational and engaging. Communication with parents is also excellent. It breaks my heart that I have to leave after 2 years but only because we are relocating to a different part of the town. I recommend this Nursery 100%, don’t hesitate your child will love it here.

I was immediately enamored by Coin Street. The atmosphere was vibrant, the children looked relaxed and seemed happy. The staff seemed really invested in the children’s happiness and wellbeing and was especially happy to hear about the extracurricular activities. My son’s time there was lovely and he formed a good relationship with teachers and children too! Always felt he was safe and in good care.

We could not have been happier with our experience of Coin Street – our daughter attended from 9-23 months and we only changed because working from home meant it was no longer convenient to travel in. The staff were always extremely helpful and welcoming, and our daughter formed a real bond with at least two of the carers that looked after her. The nursery has a large space and is well organised, and they do many activities including outside walks etc. Couldn’t recommend more highly and we were very sad to leave.

Our son has been at Coin Street Nursery for 6 months in their Investigators class (he is nearly 3). He has such a happy time and talks excitedly about his friends and his teachers. On the app, I can see lovely photos of him engaging in all sorts of activities, with plenty of time outdoors – both in the play area and out on walks in the local area.
Coin Street supported us with potty training and also periodically has a focus week, where we get to learn more about how our son is developing.
The staff are caring and considerate and responsive to any queries I have and the head of the nursery has a clear vision of what she wants to achieve.

We have been so pleased with Coin Street Nursery. Our son adores his key person and indeed the whole staff, all of whom are highly professional caregivers for young children in addition to just generally being really lovely and kind. The investment in staff training and curriculum development, the time taken to develop healthy menus for the children’s meals, the individual focused attention each child receives – these are all things we have really appreciated about this nursery and which set it apart for us. We have had a really positive experience here and are confident that our son is safe, happy and learning new things when he is there.

My daughter started Coin Street Nursery at 6 months, we have found the nursery to be truly committed to our daughter and whilst things have evolved every step of the way, my daughter has been taken very good care of.
Certain teachers have been like family to her and they will always be in her thoughts as she transitions to school.
We are thankful for the care and support the nursery has provided.
    Thank you to all.

A big thank you to all for all your help and support.
    Everything was amazing.
My child really enjoyed every day at this nursery and now he is starting reception and is really missing that time.
The best nursery ever, five stars.

Our son joined the Coin Street Nursery when he was just 9 months old and the wonderful team here has supported all of us throughout his journey as he moved from the Baby Room to Discoverers and Investigators groups. The nursery is a fun and transparent space, offering various rooms and play areas, including a generous open-air play space on the terrace where the toddlers spend time gardening, playing in the mud kitchen and sandpit or painting. The location is easy to access and provides a large buggy park. They also offer healthy, diverse and delicious meals prepared by their very own chef. We tried them on a few occasions and can definitely endorse the chef! The team provides plenty of community-based activities encouraging children to learn about the world (e.g. spending time outdoors in parks, going to the football pitch, attending dance classes at a nearby dance studio, visiting museums for seasonal activities and holding open days for families).
    We definitely recommend it!

Our son has just graduated from Coin Street Nursery at 4 years old. He started just after his 1st birthday. He has had a fantastic experience and so have we. We felt confident that he was safe and well looked after right from the start. He loved it there so much and even asked to go at the weekends!
Wonderful staff, great communication from all staff, great food, excellent learning, i.e. alphabet, numbers, days of the week, speaking, listening, messy play, tidy up time, getting dressed, learning to ride a balance bike, social skills, arts and crafts, the list goes on and on.
We know we’ve given our son the best start to his journey by starting at Coin Street.
